What about the scripture that says we should not be unevenly yoked with unbelievers? I don’t think it’s wise to go into a marriage if you both aren’t Christians. However like the example Stephanie gave, if we have unsaved friends - both male and female, we can encourage them to come to know Jesus as Savior and Lord by the way we interact with them in love and patience, and especially praying for them. Marriage has enough challenges on its own. Don’t make it extra hard by going into it if one of you is saved and the other is not. What does the Word say? Lastly, if you find yourself in that situation once you are married, continue to pray for your unsaved spouse and walking in love, believing that they will get saved - especially if the unsaved spouse wants to stay married.
It is GOD that yokes people together, not religion. He knows the TRUE nature of a person's heart, not man. Take Queen Ester, for example, God NEEDED her in that position to save HIS people. King Ahasuerus wasn't a Jew/Hebrew, Ester was even told to hide her identity from everyone. So we can't box the Lord up, HE knows the plans He has for us, plans to prosper us, and not to harm us. He knew these plans BEFORE we were formed in our mother's womb. And it is HIS plans that will prevail. We simply must go to Him for our role and TRUST that our Father, our Creator, knows what is best for us🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
I love this. The dangers of being married to an unbeliever are too high, because the unsaved spouse needs to show willingness. My parents are married for more than 40 years. My dad hasn't changed and he is not interested in getting saved. He says he believes in cultural customs. He even knows that as his kids, we don't wish to have a marriage like theirs. He is so hard- headed.
I can’t even imagine how anyone who is truly saved can go into a marriage with an unbeliever! I think the elephant in the room are those individuals who claim to live and walk by faith but are actually walking in deception. People claim God said but it was really “I want…”. True faith does not covenant with the *unlikeness of God.
Stephanie is so wise! I can listen to her speak all day. I also love how I can connect with the way she thinks and explains everything. What a blessing!
Friendship is a critical foundation for any Godly marriage. But that doesn't mean that you have to spend years trying to be a friend. It can happen naturally over a short time.
Perfectly said we need to discover our selves more before inviting the other person in.... especially discovering our Worth and letting God to be the foundation of everything we do
I don't know how i stumbled on this. I must confess that this was such a wholesome, sound, healthy, spiritual and amazing content. Thank you for making it look so easy.😊😊
It is a problem if a woman is under the authority of a 'King' (husband) who lacks maturity. I agree with you. The process of finding out who you are and who you're committing to is important.
Oh! Wow! This message is for me. I received it and will be patient to see the transition because I know that whatever I have been and am still praying for, will come in God’s time, which is the right time. Thank you both for this conversation. I have been trying to reach Paster Stephanie, but maybe one day, God will, we will cross our path when the time is right. God is Good! 🙏
Sometimes the season of singleness can be so overwhelming especially when you look around and see everyone boo up but as I reflected on Adam he was alone for a season before God gave him Eve and said its not good for man to be alone so its important be learn to cherish the single season
I love this, i was laughing through out because i can relate so much, i can't get angry at my husband all day like i cry for two minutes and next moment am happy.
Am blessed to hear The powerful message l pray that all beautiful ladies out there gets the message, glory and honor to God who Never goes against his promises, indeed Patience Pays...l have Learnt that we should always know that we're not the Head of our lives But God in our relationships, Heavenly father l surrender all to you for U have better plans for us which are always perfect, Thanks My role model, The Great minister of God Pr Stephanie like long live to talk of the goodness of God for this generation and generations to come we really need U Amen Amen 🙏 thanks to you all who Never give up on trusting God even in hard situations

Such godly and eye opening conversation...learned a lot frm it n so comforted bcs lm not perfect n lm learning tht everyone has issues n we cn just work through them with the Lord's help that's always available...thanks Kingdom ladies 💝🤍💜
Marriage is two 80%s coming together, in Christ Jesus, to grow in wholeness and holiness together. Reminds me of something that Love McPherson said about interdependence. Thank you young sisters for this blessed conversation. 🦋❤️
Wow! 👏👏👏Such an enlightening podcast. Thank You Stephanie! Definitely learnt a couple of things as regards marriage and having an impact as a genuine Christian on people around you living a life reflective of the Gospel of Jesus.
We are supposed to both lead people to Christ and reflect Christ to them. Its contradictory to say in one breath to be careful who you are married to so you are submitting to a fool, then also downplay the person's walk with Christ. One who is not submitted to Christ will make foolish decisions. No daughter of Zion will be at peace submitting to that type of leader. We need to stick with the word and not mix in worldly idealogies.
It isn’t contradictory because shes addressing two different groups of women: she saying if you are saved, don’t marry someone who is unsaved. However, some people only become saved after they are already married. In that case, the saved person shouldn’t missionary date, but the Christian who gets saved later shouldn’t manipulate. It’s consistent with the Apostle Paul’s teachings.
Even a saved person has times of making foolish decisions. Submission doesn't mean going with everything you've husband says without thinking. It's submitting to a mission, anything that's being done for the good and betterment of your union
The other partner may even be a Christian and they are lukewarm, making foolish decisions. The genuine Christian partner will still be led by foolishness. Marry purpose, marry someone whom you both can fufill God’s purpose together.
The question is: if you are a woman dating someone who claims to be a Christian but is not, what to do? Hmmm... the answer in this Clip for me was not clear enough. I prefer what a commenter said in here: do not be unequally yoked. Let's keep it plain and simple. We, single women of God, have no business dating a man who has no relationship with God.
I agree. I didn't know about being unequally yoked until it was said straight from the bible. It's dangerous being unequally yoked as a believer. This should have been clearly stated as you shared. Encouraging video nonetheless.
I think they're discussing it in the context of marriage. Some people become Christians after marriage and they are the ones who ask questions like that.
I really enjoyed this interview with pastor Stephanie she's such good teacher of the word i lije break message down even 10 understand it use bible scriptures back it up not own words
I enjoyedy single season too! I traveled and did the things that I wanted to do! I think society puts too much emphasis on being married. What is the point in getting married then 10 years down the road you realized that you married the wrong person!
My take on oneness is marriage,is a. Teaching on how God yarns for intimacy from us one day back 2017,the Holy Spirit asked me why we make Him,so lonely,God needs a close relationship with us
There are those who chose to stay through falls and as sin approaches marriages. You don't know if by you the spouse the other will be saved. That's a different walk and leading.
If you were the only IMAGE OF GOD I'll see, would I ever want to know him? This is my take-home nugget of wisdom . God bless you both 🙏 ❤️ 🙌. You are my Kingdom sisters, and I love ❤️ you both.
I enjoyed the interview, and both of you ladies were Awesome!!! Pastor Stephanie you are an Amazing woman of God! My family, friends and I love listening to you and Pastor Sarah Continued Blessings to you and your church family! We can’t wait to see you at the conference!
I strongly agree, Do Not marry un equally yoke! It is written! Being in a marriage, submitting, being an example, praying for that spouse’s salvation can be long, lonesome, horrible walk!!! I wouldn't want anyone to go through! The marriage ended in a Divorce,Ihonored God and my marriage,God honored and blessed me(my children honored and respected me to the utmost) and so does their father. You don't find a partner in church, you find a partner in Christ. ❤
Yes!
Powerful
You're right
Necessarily, my husband was a Christian for 18 years. I’ve been married for 24. He stopped serving God. He hid behind the church.
Amén!
30 plus years of marriage and still learning-God is faithful..
"You don't know your brokenness until you're in an environment that brings it up".. ❤❤

Wooow it helped me so much when she talks about being patient with other people because our journey is different thank you❤
"Everyone is on a journey. Be patient with them "
You don’t even know what’s broken until you are in an environment that brings it out. That’s good.
"Some arguments you don't have face to face, you have them on your knees".
Whew!
Good Stuff 🙌🏽
Good Stuff 🙌🏽
Ive been finding that out.
Wow, that statement is soo good. Lord help !
She's so beautiful and then you hear her speak and it gets even better😂 woman of God you inspire me so much.
That part. Marry a man that is saved and at least that one challenge that you don’t have to disagree about.
"If you are the only image of God I see, do I wanna know Him" ... Deep

💯 right
We need conversations like this from women submitted to God and their husbands!!!!!! I love this
I can’t even imagine how anyone who is truly saved can go into a marriage with an unbeliever! I think the elephant in the room are those individuals who claim to live and walk by faith but are actually walking in deception. People claim God said but it was really “I want…”.

Submission is beautiful when you're married to the right person 😊
Stephanie is so wise! I can listen to her speak all day. I also love how I can connect with the way she thinks and explains everything. What a blessing!
Every marriage has challenges even if married to a preacher or saved man. Pray pray pray. Marriage can be fun when you too are true friends.
Friendship is a critical foundation for any Godly marriage. But that doesn't mean that you have to spend years trying to be a friend. It can happen naturally over a short time.
Wow! "If you were the only image of God I see, would I want to know Him?" Such a POWERFUL statement!
Our job is to reflect God, not judge anyone. 📌
This stood out to me, "Creating the right environment for her to thrive" - this is man's responsibility.
Learnt a lot here today… currently in a study group where young single women are being taught to be whole before they are attached to their husbands
Hallelujah ~ we are in new time, we need to be whole & love ourselves . Not be pressured into unhealthy relationships, not just marriage💚
Perfectly said we need to discover our selves more before inviting the other person in.... especially discovering our Worth and letting God to be the foundation of everything we do
I can I joined the group and how do I join please
Please, how can I join the group
Please how can i join the group

I thinks thats easier said and done when you and your spouse love each other and you both are committed to God.
That’s such a great answer: it’s not your job to lead anyone to Christ. Your job is to reflect your authentic relationship with God.
you can only lead someone in the good sense if they want to be lead.
@terry Amen well said

Stephanie is so dope!! I absolutely love her. True woman and servant of God. Great interview!!❤🎉
When she says man and wife is " an office in God" 💞
Except that the statement isn’t Biblical.
@@Ad-Lobut how is it Not? We have a duty to speak the gospel to build the kingdom. Is it not? That in its self is a responsibility we are held to
