    Recently saw this , and gotten say , I was presently surprised how good this was. Mimi was very good in the lead role. Dexter always make a great villain. Well worth watching.

      Don't forget that Barry Atwater, (the vampire in the '72' hit 'Night Stalker') is also in this.

      @remmymafia3889 yes, Barry is an excellent character actor who has a very interesting face. He should be in horror movies, my favorite Barry performance is in the outer limits episode, corpus earthling, a first season episode, probably the best episode to combine horror and science fiction. Excellent show.

    I saw this movie years ago! As usual a happy ending but as long as human vices exist, 'The Syndicate' will also exist!

    Producer Kent and director Cahn made many very entertaining b films ranging from westerns to crime to horror. My all time favorite from them is the 1959 horror movie , The Four Skulls of Jonathan Drake, starring two great solid character actors, Henry Danell and Edward Franz.

    At 8:34 Mr. Malone is played by Brad Dexter that was one of “ The Magnificent Seven“ gun slingers from the classic western.

    Can you imagine police machine gunning down a suspect today? The real tragedy is that all the crime they tried to stop is all but legal now, the country is dying from the inside out.

    • @JAGRAFX
      @JAGRAFX 5 днів тому

      The officer in the movie used his service pistol to shoot the suspected felon; not a machine gun. This kind of "execution" of a suspect often went by without notice in the 1940's and 1950's until fast film and video came on the scene. There is a name for a society like you would prefer; it's called a "Police State." Ever stop and think if you are in the right country? 🎉

    How is this considered a B Movie? The B movies of today are terrible. Terrible production, terrible acting. This movie is excellent. Excellent acting excellent production excellent suits and dresses. Maybe back then they classified a movie as a B Movie so they could pay the actors less. But this is not a low quality production
