John, his fh reminds me a lot of early Roger and Rafa. Though he could lower the elbow on take back to shorten the back swing. Or lower his frame’s swing weight. Strong Semi Western, past it’s middle point.
Leaning back quite a bit. Makes it more spinny. His frame seems quite powerful. To compensate. He could tweak some things and make it even better. Like Alcaraz and Rune. Not to take anything away from it. Super reliable and consistent. The best of all his attitude and ethic. Hope he gets really far. Such a class act

I don't think so, not when he is playing on clay. I like his forehand, it's his backhand I struggle with a bit. Thanks, JF
