I absolutely love your videos. The shelling adventures you take us on, literally make my day. Even though I only found your channel a few days ago, I already watched so many of your videos. I love that you put the name of the shells on screen and I love the atmosphere you create through your shots and the underlying music. Your videos are amazing and your knowledge on shells is astounding. Thank you so much!!
Wow, thank you so much for the great feedback! I am very happy to read that you enjoy my content the way that you do. I hope you'll continue to more in the future as well!
Hi Chinchu, I love finding albino Lightning whelks...I actually have a few of them in my collection. They seem to be more common than other albino shells.
I love your excitement. I thought I was the only one. Haha! I am a loner and don't get excited about much, so it's refreshing. Shelling is renewal. Shelling is life. Ocean is the greatest healer.
Great finds! The albino whelk was stunning! The shell at 10:25 is a White Atlantic semele with both valves still attached. Fresh specimens have a pinkish color :)
Beautiful albino Lightning Whelk! Cayo Costa is so magical, but I had to laugh at the end of the video...Safety First...my mantra for 20 years while raising kiddos.
Thank you Solace in Shelling! I enjoyed exploring Cayo Costa with you. It really is beautiful there! I have not been but I can imagine. Great shelling!
You're in my most favorite place on earth. Can't beat Sanibel, Captiva, and Cayo Costa for beauty and nature. On one trip there were several manatees rolling around not too far from the shore. I found a huge lightning welk in the water. I hope you have a great time!
Love Cayo Costa! I hope you are posting more since you are camping there for several days. When we were there last Thanksgiving we found tons of Olives just rolling in along the water’s edge. We took the ferry and they let us use their scoopers that were great for catching the olives.
Hi Brenda - much, much more to come from Cayo Costa and Florida! I try to upload once a week so that I can deliver quality content to you all! Sounds like you had an amazing time in Cayo Costa - there are indeed many Olive shells that can be found there. Stay tuned to my channel if you love Olives, and thanks for watching!
Heading there Sunday for a couple days ,Can't wait Haven't been shelling since June 2020.Hope there is no red tide.Thx for taking us along.Happy Shelling!!

There are usually a lot of angel wings in the drift after a storm. Maybe the other side of the island? Stay safe.
