The Shift Line Stages combines three unique gain stages, 3-band EQ, and voicing control. This is not a clone or a modification on any other circuit. Let me know what you think of the Stages pedal. Check it out here - 🛒 Shift Line Website - shift-line.com/stages
This is an amazing pedal which I managed to get thanks to a friend and as a fellow lefty I really dig watching you play and this is a great sound for a not so great player such as myself lol… The other pedal options look pretty cool too
It sounds like a very useful pedal. I like the various modes you can switch to, and it's great that you don't have to muck with the controls each time, unlike other pedals I have. I wish they'd have made the stages toggle switch an actual footswitch. That would've made it even more practical!
I got mine few days ago and I’m impressed. I build tube amps and I designed a tube amp last year that has a fenderish clean channel and a very versatile od channel that goes from jtm, plexi, jcm, slo, dumble, etc. , using different gain stages and tone shaping switches. The thing is that this pedal on the clean channel sounds, feels and behave just as my amp’s od channel on the marshallish kind of tones. It’s so good, very clear, defined, articulate and so amp like. It’s also very, very dynamic. Love it.!!!
@@GreatKukuruzo I doesn’t do mothern hi gain. No metal or anything close. It can sound kind of 5150’sh tone wise but way less gain. It doesn’t shug or however it’s suppose to be written. 😁😁
Hi, Shane. Great review. Overdrive pedal with 3 eq knobs and 2 voicing switches, what can be more versatile! Few years ago I had Termofuzz from Shift Line, also good pedal, regret that I sold it.
Best regards for your experience! I have Boss BD-2 Blues Driver. I see Blues Driver and Stages are similar. Will I get something new if I buy Stages? Maybe Stages has better dynamics and response to touch? Or are these pedals equivalent? Thanks (I know the sound in our hands and head, BUT....)
This has the ZZ Top thing plus loads of other tones as well. The Eliminator is a great sounding pedal, but check how long the order will take to get before you buy one. I heard some guys were having issues waiting for them after that initial video blew up.
Of all the pedal builders out there you are featuring a Russian builder that is currently shipping pedals out of Russia through Kazakstan to avoid sanctions? Really?

Very nice pedal! I also enjoyed the ZZ Top inspired jam track. Awesome stuff, Shane!
Thanks, Dennis!
Wow that has some kick to it, awesome!
Thanks, mate! Yeah, it's quite the all in one!

Hey, what about high gain sounds?

@@ramilrodriguez8340 thank you for the info
quite versatile tool! Maybe a second footswitch would be a nice future addition, for choosing Lo-Gain/Hi-gain function on the fly.
Great video Shane! Some great tones here!
Your new studio looks pretty confortable :)
That pedal is very versatile. I think I need one :D
Great demo, thx
Superb demo, Shane! This pedal really has it all: killler tones from A to Z. Cheers!
Sounds good and a good way to save space on a board having overdrive and distortion in one pedal .
If it does Blues and ZZ-TOP I want one 😀
Absolutely terrific pedal Shane. Now if I could only play like you or Dr. Ric I'd be in business. 😊
Blues On....💙
Great sounding Pedal Shane. Awesome review. Cheers.
Your playing was tasty and awesome, really dug the demo. The 3 band eq is a great feature, lots of usable tones from that pedal.

Happy New Year! How do you decide between this and the Kernom Ridge?
You definitely have the groove going
This looks like in the new studio, right?
This pedal seems add the steel cap to your overdrive boot.
Any good on bass?
Hey Shane ,
Purely for the ZZ Top sound , This or the Missing Link Audio Eliminator Pedal ?

Thank you👍@@intheblues
Et t'elle distribué en France
Does that Vola have SS frets ?
Yes it does! I love the feel of SS frets on a roasted maple neck.

Of all the pedal builders out there you are featuring a Russian builder that is currently shipping pedals out of Russia through Kazakstan to avoid sanctions?
Really?
He's reviewing a pedal , not political views .
Why should a pedal builder be penalised for the actions of their deranged head of state?
Being German doesn't make you Hitler.
Being Russian doesn't make you Putin.
Thinking so does, however, make you a racist.
@@rselp Their head of state is not deranged, they're not from the USA
This is exactly the same way how the western pedal builders ship to Russia to avoid sanctions, seems fair to me
