    I know I am late to the party with this Pedal, but it was a lot of fun. The mood control offers a lot of flexibility when it comes to dialling in anything from a boost to a distortion tone. Thanks for watching and let me know what you think.

    That is some of the best guitar tone I've heard on this channel. I've listened to most if not all of your videos over the years and this pedal absolutely has the goods! So juicy and articulate. Sometimes the DSL40 isn't my favorite amp to hear in pedal reviews but this time it was absolutely brilliant! That is a compliment to the pedal. Sounds like this pedal can be put into pretty much anything and sound great.

    Thank you for this! Amazing. But I don’t understand why - many reviewers suggest that their clean tone is clean. But they’re not clean. Thank you for the review.

    Sounds great with the Keisel, outstanding demo Shane, you’re a legend.

      A legend, I am not haha. But it sounds great. I've been using it as a studio pedal now for a while on other videos. It seems to work great with all of my amps so far.

    Great pedal! It continues to challenge me with finding almost unlimited different sounds! I've spent hours dialing in what it offers and that can be it's one drawback. But once I found the numerous settings/sounds I wantes I took pics of the pedal in order to remember them. Almost endless possibilities...

    Mate glad to see another fan out there. I bought one direct from the lads at Kernom when they first released it…it is such a killer and as a midi user I have a heap of great tones at the push of one button. Paired with a Timeline, Big Sky and running through an Iridium I have way too much choice.

    That pedal sounds awesome! Love your Kiesel paired with it. Also, glad you kept the DSL40CR!!! 🎸🔥🎸🔥🎸🔥🎸

    The new studio looks great! What an interesting sounding pedal. It's definitely something that could replace the 4 ODs that I usually have on my board. Cheers

    Im glad you were late to the party! Sometimes the initial excitement and industry buzz can influence opinion. Nice to hear what you think of the pedal long after the dust had settled. Give me one of these and a Strymon Flint or Keeley Hydra and im set

    Got one last year. With an expression pedal, you don’t need any other overdrive.. a FUZZ is coming !! And for information we compare it with many of our king of tone and Co. this one is THE ONE.

    Hey Shane! Big fan of the channel and thanks so much for this wonderful review of the Kernom Ridge. I use the exact same amp as you (Marshall DSL40CR) but when I turn the mood and drive knobs ups in conjunction with one another, the pedal produces an extremely loud and obnoxious buzz/hum even using the clean channel and at 50% volume, so if I were to run your pedal setup at 1:10, it would pretty much be unplayable with the background noise. I'm pretty sure it's not the power source/amp and I've tried using both the regular 2-cable set up and 3-cable F-X setup but nothing seems to be working; I also factory resetted the pedal but to no avail. I was wondering if you would have any ideas as to why that might be the case? I really love the many sounds you reproduced using the pedal in this video but I'm just not sure as to why my same pedal gets so unbearably noisy with drive and mood dialed up. Would love to hear your thoughts on this :)

      Is it your power supply? Some power supplies can be noisy as. My old one spot is terrible for pedals now it’s almost unusable.

      @@intheblues Nope I tried with multiple power supplies that work perfectly fine with other pedals the noise is still there

    It's a very clever pedal, but just couldn't quite fall in love with it.

    Hey Shane. Loving the new Kiesel! Is there much tonal crossover with your original Kiesel or are they very different beasts? Always easier to tell in the room than on UA-cam 👍

    • @intheblues
      @intheblues  11 місяців тому

      They are pretty different. The Humbuckers have a different low end chunk to them but they never get muddy where as the 3 single coil guitar has a really steely sound that I love. They are both very clear-sounding guitars.

    Hi how do think this pedal would do with a tone master twin?

    • @intheblues
      @intheblues  Рік тому

      It'd work great. This can pretty much be dialled in to suit any amp.

      thanks seems like it was more suited for a tube amp

    it is so stupid you need midi to acces presets....i dont have midi so this pedal is not for me

    • @intheblues
      @intheblues  6 місяців тому

      The pedal stores a single preset for you. If it had more presets it would have a lot more buttons on and it probably a screen. Maybe a rotation dial might have been a good move or something similar for a handful of tones. It's pretty easy to use though so you can dial it in easily enough.

    • @japjapsen1858
      @japjapsen1858 6 місяців тому

      @@intheblues a display or some diodes could do it and then assign a preset bank to one of the switches....lots of others have done it.....just 1 preset is just stupid imo

    Bought one and it made my amps ( Friedman and a mesa boogie) sound worse. The amps sound better without it. My point is don't believe everything you hear. Your not getting the whole story.
