"neighbors wer'nt complaining, theyd rather have this thean a burnt home" thats so wholesome like we finally have people who are grateful for something done
To be fair, this is something that should have been prevented. An example of a fire that was caused from a baby reveal party.... burning who knows how many acres..... plus all of the other fires that are burning at the same time. Hell, the state can't even handle the fires. I wouldn't be surprised if it crosses into another state causing further destruction. Insurance as hell probably wouldn't cover. But considering the location, I'd imagine the rates would be thru the roof and would cover fires. In that case, it would be cheaper to have the house burn down probably. And to be fair, the fire department can at least have a third party or another section under the department that handles messes they caused. The other issue is the environmental factors. How is the fire retardant going to affect the lands in the area? the wild life? Is the pavement drive-able still? Or will it cause dangerous sliding? Water supply? Another issue, the porous housing there. The reason the retardant doesn't wash off is because of the material. Most homes in the east coast have vinyl siding. Most if not all would wash right off probably or stick and the whole siding would need replacing. If not, slather some paint. But it shouldn't be out of my own pocket unless I am going to be reimbursed. To replace siding on the entire house would probably cost a few grand. Who the hell has money like that?
The other issue involves construction... Why were the homes not built for fire protection? Because its cheaper to put all the cost on buyers. Plus a lot of people in the area has money.... The people who don't are homeless....
@@nitehawk9270 No one refused, because fire department didn't ask permission to help and there were only ~20 homes that got covered with it. Yea DIPSHIT ..the guy at 1:18 was really grateful..he plans to file a claim with his insurance company cause the fire fighters couldn't wash off perfectly the fire retardant off after 2 tries. The 20 homes mentioned in the video that were saved appeared to be very grateful but in general as I said there appear to be so many ungrateful people in this world. A person does 99 good deeds and they will pick out the 1 bad thing that was not done completely or correctly...
they didnt go above and beyond, firefighters clean up after every errant retardant drop.the pilots arent going to come back to do it,they have more fires to head too,the local fire teams have the time and man power to go back and clean up...but its mostly to stop people from suing the state and local fire departments, not because they were wanting "cool points",BTW the tanker pilots NEVER target a home ,car or people in drops, they can be sued to hell and back for it,listen to the radio traffic sometime, you will hear them talking about wether or not they are cleared in..yes that means if its safe for them ie not gonna hit another aircraft, but it also means there are no humans below too.they do hit people though, ive been hit many times and im usually hppey about it,id rather have to replace my turnout gear than get burned..
I dont think it was accidental, they dropped it onto the houses as a precaution. Why risk more fires from embers when you can douse the entire neighborhood, and fight the active fire with all available units
Dave Kauffman Jr we don't go back and clean anything up on the east coast and our tankers hit homes every year. I say they went above and beyond. They are outstanding.
The firefighters didn't have to do shit!!! You could have simply called your insurance company, explain what has happened and they'd pay out for professionals to clean it up. Which would take time and a wack ton more money, why not just use your taxes... that is why they exist. ASK YOURSELF would you rather clean up the exterior for a couple week (with help), go through insurance or move into a new home because it burnt down? Your comment is dumb and ignorant. You have a thick skull to where you are blind sighted by the fact these guys risk their lives to save you, your family, pets, property, neighbors, etc. and you should feel bad for discrediting these men. Men unlike yourself who can't recognize bravery.
Not sure why some comments are saying this guy (1:05) is complaining. Its a insurance claim, not a complaint to anyone. Firefighters try to clean it up twice. So he is trying to get the insurance to help clean it up. Firefighters are even sending in documents to help get the insurance claim through.

How to say anything bad about firefighters... They are simply good people in the best possible way: they help the others
This dude really called his insurance lmfao.
So Many Ungrateful people in this world nowadays....just be happy you had a pink home and dirty car to go back home to...
ceedaddy No one in this video were ungreatful wtf
MonsterJamShows I know fuckin morons just typing "so ungrateful ugh" when they never state they are
Yea DIPSHIT ..the guy at 1:18 was really grateful..he plans to file a claim with his insurance company cause the fire fighters couldn't wash off perfectly the fire retardant off after 2 tries. The 20 homes mentioned in the video that were saved appeared to be very grateful but in general as I said there appear to be so many ungrateful people in this world. A person does 99 good deeds and they will pick out the 1 bad thing that was not done completely or correctly...
1:18 the old man plans to sue the city thru his insurance company ....he doesn't sound to grateful...wtf
ceedaddy doesn't mean he's ungrateful it means he's trying to save money on his water bill that would add up to alot to wash all that off
they didnt go above and beyond, firefighters clean up after every errant retardant drop.the pilots arent going to come back to do it,they have more fires to head too,the local fire teams have the time and man power to go back and clean up...but its mostly to stop people from suing the state and local fire departments, not because they were wanting "cool points",BTW the tanker pilots NEVER target a home ,car or people in drops, they can be sued to hell and back for it,listen to the radio traffic sometime, you will hear them talking about wether or not they are cleared in..yes that means if its safe for them ie not gonna hit another aircraft, but it also means there are no humans below too.they do hit people though, ive been hit many times and im usually hppey about it,id rather have to replace my turnout gear than get burned..
they SHOULD target homes, when they're in danger
I dont think it was accidental, they dropped it onto the houses as a precaution. Why risk more fires from embers when you can douse the entire neighborhood, and fight the active fire with all available units
Dave Kauffman Jr we don't go back and clean anything up on the east coast and our tankers hit homes every year. I say they went above and beyond. They are outstanding.
I was living in Oregon during there giant ass fire. So much retardent on so many homes, and it was volenteer fire depts helping clean around the srea
The cops never come back to clean up the blood stains, kicked in doors, broken windows, police tape, etc...
You can’t say the “R” word
They aren’t?
oh boy i hope this is a joke
Stop crying
Javier Cervantes No one is crying you dumb fuck
MonsterJamShows wtf go smoke crack u stupid
Javier Cervantes You know if you're going to call someone stupid please correct your spelling first.
Javier Cervantes Oooooooooooo

"Like what came from scooby doo or something like that" 🤦♂️😂 0:53
What a great community
Great guys. We need more people like this :)
And that's how the pink trap house was born from 2 chainz's album cover 😂
Meanwhile in Detroit, firehouses don't even have heat or power for weeks at a time.
Great job guys
Honestly if that was my house, I would be thanking them for saving it, not suing them
no one's suing them? he filed a claim
Little pink won’t hurt be grateful to have a home I’m still working hard to get one
iff they complain they should be happy that they tried to save them
My mans said “like scooby doo”🤣
The pink rocks look pretty cool
Bro we shouldn’t let our fire departments clean up. The fire department did there job. They saved there homes!
i had to read that title a few times lmao
reporter: "... help homeowners with *their* cleanup project" :)
Those are dedicated fire fighters
I'd be happy with just the windows. Keep the rest all pink for a while, gimme a daily visual reminder for a while that I'm still here and fire didn't take all the things I've worked for.
this was a Kool way to Aid these people from fires
Dude looked like he’s seen lots of Scooby Goo
