The only ones id defend from the list are deadly Premonition games, Its so hard to explain why i like them i think its that it feels done bad on purpose in a sense it has such a throwback feel to it And its pretty funny. Its almost kinda suda-ish in personality
What's the "insider xbox" speech pattern in this video? You're trailing the last word of every sentence off for so long and i don't remember it in previous videos.
I loved it. I think the graphics were off but all in all really good. I finished Alpha Protocol on ps3 about 7 times. One of the only games I've got all the trophies for. So yeah I liked mediocre to bad games quite a bit lol. But yes second one was terrible.
Deadly Premonition was a glorious disaster in the so-bad-it's-good kind of way. Just about everything about the game is a dumpster fire, yet it was honestly one of the most entertaining gaming experiences I've had. It's almost a joy to discover one new broken mechanic after another. Although, one thing I will say, it does it's NPCs better than many other games I've seen. The way they all have schedules and go about their business, not unlike Majora's Mask, it sure beats the typical NPC that just stands rooted in spot like a tree. I think if someone did a modern remake of DP that fixed all it's issues, it would absolutely ruin the experience.
The first one isn't the best, "game" but it's an interesting story in an interesting world. I loved the characters and how the story unfolds. It has heart, it's goofy and has some scares. It's B-Horror Movie: The Game but it's great at being that!
Deadly premonition was such a fun game, it’s jankyness was part of its charm as was its utterly ludicrous story and laughable writing and voice performances…doesn’t sound like I’m selling it but I had a blast with it. As long as you lean into it, you will too. Have only just started 2 so we’ll see
I had started the Remothered sequel a coupke weeks ago. I read it got many patches for those issues. So it was a broken (porcelain) mess on launch, it may not be that now.
I'd love to hear how that game isn't bad. Fans of the first one don't even like it. I dropped it after the opening scene dragged for as long as it did. It honestly seems like that dev is always pushing the boundaries of terribleness they can get away with and they finally pushed too far with this game.
@@habadasheryjones plenty of fans of the first one liked it too. I enjoyed the trans character despite some people like Laura Kate Dale and Jim Sterling having issues with their portrayal, I didn't see it as transphobic at all personally and found them interesting overall. Also i enjoyed getting around on the skateboard, that was vastly to having to constantly put gas in the car in the first game, also the mini-games were pretty fun(especially the air boat ride one)and the sidequests were enjoyable, the side characters were fun and interesting(my fave is the lady that owns the skateboard repair shop)and I really liked Patti as well, she was cute and likeable but not in a precocious kid sort of way, also it was good to hear more of York's crazy banter(like the fact that he checked out New Orleans purely because he was a fan of the 1982 film Cat People)and the overall mystery and storyline I found pretty fun and the final boss fight was pretty cool. There are problems of course(that bowling mini-game can go straight to hell, especially when doing it is required for progression in the main story)but overall I had a pretty good time with that game.
Oh man, after reading the comments I started the video and thought it couldn't be THAT bad but yeah, the stresing is waaay overdone. That gets annoying to listen to after just a few sentences.
Hello neighbor 2 was really disliked even by the fans of the first game, due to the undeniable fact that the devs were actively fighting speed runners to make longer runs of the game which is the only reason people were playing the first game, it's always an ego trip for a dev to see someone finish the game they made quicker than was intended but half heartedly trying to stop speed running glitches leads to an even buggier game than before leading to the bugginess of hello neighbor 2
Something to do with him being a presenter? Do you have a preferred presenter? Are you more of a James Jenkins fan? Is this secretly James Jenkins? You have to tell us if it is.
@@CyberLance26 There's well over a decade's worth, stretching back to Vidiots and . never seen an issue. Could be a Bot designed to upset people or just a bot having a bad day?
The trailing off the last word is really noticeable in this video.
Glad to see Stray Souls on this list. I worked on the game and it was an even bigger mess behind the scenes than what ended up on screen.
Would you be able to disclose some of the chaos behind the scenes?
Well, you guys did a horrific job.

2:49 Should be called "YouOweMe" when gamers want their money back playing this game
NGL I’m kinda surprised Garten of Banban isn’t on the list.
yeah that should've been on there instead of Deadly Premonition 2.
They, like everyone else, probably forgot it existed.

They've always done that. Overly emphasizing words.
Deadly Premonition is surely flawed, but I wouldnt say it's bad myself. It's quite interesting at least. 2 is legitimately bad.

2 is pretty good IMO
The PS2 graphics are quite jarring.

All of these games are better than Casting of Frank Stone. That game is fucking terrible.

Remothered is such an unwelcoming name for a game
Not the worst looking game ever for Stray Souls? Have you not seen that stupid house they start in?
Well, Redfall, GTA Trilogy Remaster, The Day Before, Lord of the Rings: Gollum......wait...not THAT kind of Horror? OOoohhh..........
Will we be getting a best horror games of the 2020’s list? :)
I half thought you were going to say “When done properly, wetting yourself in public…” during the intro.
Deadly Premonition 2 is a good game and should not have been on this list.

Ngl I like the "Neighbor" series 🤷🏻♂️
Who told this guy he should do voice overs
We had a meeting about it and all said we liked it. Were you not there?
Are there not hundreds of videos with this guy talking?
Never seen people complain about it before.

Good for you. Your parents still don't love you.
Fallout 76 is fine now, don't be like CrapCulture and shit on it to get your rocks off.
