Banjo Patterson wrote a lot of his poetry at Kylies Run. One of his poems is titled 'On Kylies Run' ffs. There has to be more detail somewhere, but where to find the Truth, and put it together is the hard part in Australia. But you can't always tell all of the real event and make it rhyme. The truth must be adjusted so that it fits the rhyme. It doesn't really matter that Patterson took advantage with his 'literary licence', his story was about a real man and that man, was Jack Riley.
