That is an epic camping site! Just to think that some people waiting to die to go to paradise without realising that is here in the bush. Thanks for sharing
Yeh mate, it's a crackn camp spot looking over the mighty Snowy River.

This is exactly the touring I'm now into. Going out and destroying my car against rocks is not me anymore. The content is great. In the ozzy bush listening to ozzy bush. 🍻👍
G'day mate,
Spot on, just enjoying what the surrounds of the bush has to offer is very relaxing.

Mine still has signs of brickie mud on the under side of the trowel. Great old memories from the building days.

Another great vid thanks Tim. I spend some time up that part of the world north of Buchan. Great part of the world. It’s one of those more remote places that offers you stunning landscapes with the space to soak it all in. Thanks for sharing.

hey tim. ive been up through there a couple of times. the brige is unreal and how it was built. too bad you didnt catch a fish. that hamburger looked increible, but man you got to have sauce on it.. great vid again thanks man
G'day Gary,
Yeah mate, it's stunning country and seeing the bridge for the first time was pretty special.
How do you mean mate by how was it built?
Maybe next time i will get onto a fish. Still relaxing sitting by the Snowy River anyway. Lol
Sauce mate will go on the next one. Lol
Thanks heaps for your feedback.
Cheers Tim.
hey tim hows it going. ? what i meant by how mckillops brige was built is more so how hard it would have been back in the day to get the materilas up there. id imagine they would have had to camp in there to get the job done, its so far in.
@@garywinkworth3380 yeah mate. When you see where the bridge is located. It’s a long way in from anywhere to where it stands.
In the early 1900’s they wouldn’t of had modem transport like we have today.
Look At the Debris on the Headstock Column! Man that Snowy River gets going in the Wet Season .You can See the Construction joint where the Columns have been Raised
Yeah mate, it's a major river system for the area. During winter it would be cranking down through that area.
The join line on the columns is very easy to see how much higher they had to make it, so it wouldn't happen again.
Thanks mate for your reply and feedback.
Cheers Tim.
Awesome mate great vid!
Thanks mate. I appreciate it.
Cheers Tim.
@@timbates4wdadventures We were up there about 6 years ago and I was in awe at the amount of water that must have been flowing down through that valley to wipe out the first bridge!
@@MrThuggery yeah mate. It’s amazing how high that flood water must have been to wash the bridge away.
Absolutely magnificent spot mate. Love your video. Thank you.🍺🇦🇺❤👍
Thanks mate.
It sure is a great spot.
Thanks for your reply mate.
Cheers Tim.
Awesome Tim..thanks mate 🍺
No worries mate. Top spot.

Mate what a great idea to use a trowel as a cooking tool. A new fan and subscriber. Cheers mate.
G'day Herb,
Welcome onto my channel mate. I hope you are enjoying the video content thats coming through.
mate, my old brickie trowel works a treat. Good solid blade with plenty of width so i don't drop those eggs in the campfire. Lol
Thanks for your reply and feedback mate.
Cheers Tim.
@@timbates4wdadventures Mate, looking forward to seeing your adventures and those breath taking views, keep up the good work. Cheers mate.
@@herbmarsh8519 thanks mate. I greatly appreciate that.
Love the country and the effort you put into your vids. Whilst watching your latest one, I noticed some good old Aussie adjectives you use. No malice intended but in this edition, ‘Magnificent’ featured 5 times; Beautiful 5 times and Sensational twice. Good descriptors for the Snowy region. I might do a count when I get sent your next segment. Good onya mate. 👍🏻🦘🦘
Gday mate,
They are just words I like to use a lot that well describe the moment.
Maybe I get a bit to excited and repeat them a bit, but still great times being had. Lol
Thanks mate, I greatly appreciate your feedback.
Cheers Tim.
Another great video Tim
Thanks mate.

Good to see the trusty old trowel back at work Batesy 👍🏻
G'day Ross,

Admire the solo camping trips, i do them myself, great way just to FULLY relax, The shot with the possum and goanna in it was well done. Enjoyed this one Tim, Cheers
G'day Paul,
Spot on mate. Solo camping can be a very relaxing time to be out camping.
Yeah, that goanna had his eye on that possum.
Im tipping the possum heard the goanna coming and bolted out of that dead tree.
Thanks mate for your feedback.

Beechworth is a great town. Im trying to get my mountain bike out on some of my videos.
The goannas were a good size, one of them had his eye on that ring tail possum.
Thanks for your feedback.
