My ex-best friend’s favorite color is olive green. There is something so healing thinking about painting my past actions, which I did with good intent, in her favorite color.
I wasn’t trying to be hurtful, toxic, ect. I was trying to be a good friend and painted my intentions in her favorite things but in the end she just didn’t want my friendship.

This made me cry my 4 older daughters can't be happy for me I left their father after over 20 years of major abuse they wanted me to leave for a few years i finally build the courage from the fear and, left him then they turned on me never involve me I'm a Nana to 5 grandbabies they never come see me thank you for the songs you write 😢♥️

Why the title of Olive Green for the song?
From a quick Google search, I found out that the colour olive green is "often used to symbolize peace, harmony, and sophistication." It shows the artist's peaceful intentions when talking to the person they are singing about, yet they are still misunderstood. Quite an interesting metaphor!
