Slight context addition to 2022: Punk in his uncoachable interview mentioned that Lori was just unacceptable when he coached and Striker butted heads with him. That isn’t to say Striker was faultless, but there WERE insane coaching issues going behind the scenes.
Wonder if Striker actually wanted players like Punk to play more than he did. If that was the year where they tried every other tank besides Punk a lot. =/ feel like Striker was a player who didn't care if he played with all Koreans. He just wanted to win, bad
Everytime someone mentions Crusty liking Striker a bit too much I remember what Hydron said in a strem when OWL blew up, that someone walked in on a coach and a player having some sort of sexual relationship
This video hits really close to home to me. I was born and raised two hours south of Boston, so when OWL launched I latched onto the Boston Uprising like a newborn child to its mother. Halfway through the season I was already locked in with Striker as my favorite player. It remained that way for years to come; I loved watching him play, even when it wasn't for my team anymore. The first time he came back to Uprising I could understand; it strange, sure, because I have to imagine he could have had his pick of teams but maybe he just wanted something familiar to go back to. However, after 2022, I couldn't consider him my favorite player anymore. I read a comment once where somebody said, "2022 Proper is what Striker thought he was to the 2022 Boston Uprising" and the fact of the matter is that he isnt that guy. I think you hit the nail on the head when you said that he really didnt play a lot of heroes, but the ones he did play he was top three in. Striker proved that he could never work with anyone other than Crusty; something about Crusty's coaching style, or the way he talks to Striker, or whatever it is, he can only work under Crusty's system and thats why he was never really going to thrive as a pro player. Last thing, I disagree with the comment about Striker being considered one of the best with only one personal award to his name; players like Carpe and Decay have similar amounts of personal awards and we also talk about them in the same capacity.
Fleta also wasn't a Tracer player before like his 2nd to last competitive year. That wasn't ever his hero or role. =/ people may think it was because of how good he was on it right away. But it wasn't. Like period. On Seoul he had other players playing it. On Dragons he picked it up half way through like 2020 or so. So... I'm not surprised he got diffed by a guy with 100+ more hours in the character... Most people would
@@CrazeeAdam fleta was the most overrated player of all time. he wasnt a tracer player. or genji. or widow. everytime he got diffed it was another case of thats not his main
I really wanted shock to win the 2022 GF so striker could respond to Huk saying “One player can be worth more than a team” I think 1 player can be worth more than a team Ex: Proper, Lip, Shu
Brother said lets take it with a grain of salt since we dont know what happened but in the same sentence said it was proven that he did do toxic things just a different time frame. Like do you think its out of the world to assume he was toxic before if there is a proven case of him being toxic after?
Striker is undoubtedly the best reaper of all time, you can say its just reaper but he was still better than everyone. The reaper v reaper matchup was the most underrated storyline in the 2022 finals imo. Sojourn got all the spotlight but reaper made so many game turning plays in those finals that were overshadowed, and striker was reaper diffing every other team no question although him and sp9rkle had a couple of back and forth moments sometimes in their match. Shock just lacked a winston player and the insane levels of coordination that the fuel had.
You can be stinky poo-poo head for toxicity AND best tracer player ever at the same time. In fact I think most of the best tracer players are kinda toxic. Striker is best of his time at least!
Some are. Some weren't. Just like every other hero. Like Pelican who got insanely good at Tracer is generally seen as a really good dude and not toxic in matches. Proper I don't think is seen as toxic but he is pretty try hard I think. Which leads to some in game comments from time to time
one time Striker carried a game so hard he burst into tears after they won, a true legend and my favorite Tracer.
Yeah, I remember that it was against London Spitfire in a 5 map banger probably during stage three
thats my favorite match of all time

Everytime someone mentions Crusty liking Striker a bit too much I remember what Hydron said in a strem when OWL blew up, that someone walked in on a coach and a player having some sort of sexual relationship
the crusty crackpipe in its full glory
Can we talk about how twilight got f’ed so hard. By either bad teams or overshadowed by literally another TOP5 flex support

new esper video my prayers have been answered
Striker was my fav player and the reason why I started playing Tracer (And Reaper more) I can't believe he was a striker in game and irl too
The Reaper Disrespect is crazy
I remember striker also played like ashe and cassidy for shock sometimes in s3 and s4 and was really impressive
True, but it’s hard to look past the fact that season 4 San Francisco shock had a messy DPS rotation.
hell yeah man. love to see you upload some ow content
Fleta on tracer got shit on by striker so no competition from him
I remember watching it live, fleta got absolutely diffed by striker in semi finals
