Mate, Your rides just get better and better (and faster!!). That rain has sure make it beautiful one lane road/firetrail! A lot of riders are living the dream thru your GoPro! Thx
Although the 2020 Yamaha T700 (Tenere) is a good basic bike. I strongly suggest you avoid the temptations by the industry & dealers making video on the T700. Never, ever buy a brand new design i.e. 1.0. WAIT about two to three years for the: - fixes to the design bugs & issues - improvements/modernizations like on the Honda Africa Twin & now Adventure Sport version - aftermarket part & accessories to be available - for other folks not wise enough to wait, to buy it and spend their money not yours Something to think about that I am sure the video maker agrees with because he is an honest man that only wants you to enjoy riding motorcycles.
looks as though you we're having a blast my friend, conditions looking primo out there its nice to see the Forrest looking lush and green and water running throu the creeks
Yamaha have really hit the sweet spot with this bike and timing is perfect. They will sell like hot cakes. Seriously considering selling my F800GS for one. Great video mate, I can feel the adrenaline rush from here 💪
Yeah nice old school back to basics ,really no need for any fancy stuff on this bike, its butter smooth power delivery is very forgiving ,i still think At better suited to bigger guys that dont wanna ride like a lunatic and like to carrie a lot of creature comforts on out back travel , but damn this bike is fun especially with a little guy like me leaning on it honks along once you start to rev it ,,
@@BigBikeAdventures yeh its crossed my mind more then once that and a new 690, but by the time you bolt rally fairing and longer fuel range its all gets very costly ,and reliability comes into play ,at the end of the day its big bore close ratio enduro not a true adventure bike that's been designed for that purpose ,+ i have a big bore enduro 500exc to get my kicks on ,i wanted a second big bike adventure bike that i can comfortably ride out of the box long distance without dumping too much more money into it, need to be reliable for 1 and wide ratio twin for road long stints ,
I'll patiently wait for this bike next year in the Philippines. We're a bit late but I'm very much willing to wait. The KTM adventure 390 & 790 is here but Yamaha took my heart.
Thanks , its a great bike for all skill levels ,great commuter with its upright egos sit nice and proud above the traffic and weekend dirt weapon hit forest trails and dirt roads , best of both worlds
I love to see you ride the 700 like this. I have 3 questions. Sorry for that. 1. What are these red things on your gps bar? 2. What is that blue button on your bar at the left side? Which led lights do you have?
Just think about all the tire wear you save with all the wheelies , haha . Going to have to learn how on a motorcycle , can do them easy on my mountain bike but it's different with power . Consider yourself extremely fortunate to have places like that to ride , I am a prisoner here in Commiefornia with no go zones everywhere .
plenty of no go zones here with greenies gating off every trail close to home ,fucking pathetic losers burn half the country bushland because they have had it locked up for last 10 years ,cant even collect firewood off the ground ,bunch of retards making stupid laws
have you ridden an Africa Twin mate? keen to see the comparison between weight, power etc.. I have one but like the idea of something more nimble and lighter like these things 👌🏻
Mate, love it. Im on the sunny coast myself and looking for some nice fast tracks like this, can you share your GPX data or let me know how to get to these tracks please??
just head up Mapleton pub take the duck pond tune off just past shops on obi obi road take mapleton forest road ,stick right stay on it for 8klm them take right turn on to cooloolabin road then left after dam ,takes you up to lookout ,stick to the right past the Telstra tower ,seen in this video
I hope you know that you live in an enduro paradise, appreciate it mate, in Germany you do not have these kind of gravel roads at all or they are not for ATV's. Actually a Tenere 700 makes no sense at all in Germany. Some MX tracks few enduro, but nothing like this. What a pity...
Watching you doing 80mph or 126kph (metric that's like 7gals in 3 weeks?) And a few points 150kmh... Kinda really cements this bike for me. I wrecked my 650 vstrom on a speed bump back in April one block from my house doing maybe +/- 25-30 mph?... I have no clue what happened... Just went ass over heels coming back from a 240+ mile ride running gravel most the way at around 55-65mph just letting the bike run under me. Anyway. The t700 seems to be winning me over the more I see. My choice was between a ktm 790.. or a BMW... Or this yam-ham-aaa t700... The bike just seems to fill in all the areas I want more and more... Now if I can just get my lower back to stop giving me shit after that pathetic crash.. lol.
hey mate, had mine 4 weeks now. got 2000 klms on it already.we must have been close near toogoolawah a couple of weeks ago. do i see adjustable screen risers? if so a bit of info would be appreaciated. also your second power outlet... i've mounted a stedi light bar below the originals as most of my riding is at night. best video game in the house...i call mine the fountain of youth lol...

say, the motorcycle is easy to maintain, change oil, battery. In order not to carry it to the dealer?
yes ease to work on , oil change takes 10 minutes very reliable its a Yamaha after all
Great video.. I've got the same bike but don't ride off road... Fun on the road as well 💪👍
Is that the stock or Akrapovic exhaust?. Great video, greetings from the land without T7s🇺🇸
Akro muffler with a less restrictive DB killer insert ,, was just to loud for me at highway speeds with it removed completely , i found a compromise
