I've watched 2 of your videos and I'm certainly in the right place. I'm a new radio hobbyist. I'm starting on 2-way radios (UHF/VHF/HF) but I think/feel that a scanner will be of great value. I'm budgeting to get the SDS100 and maybe the 200 later. But I have a question because you have like 6 scanners in front of you. Why would you need more than one scanner? Thanks.

Great information. Subscribed right away. Looking for the correct download to install the driver on my computer to use Freescan. Any help would be appreciated.
Welcome aboard! I really don't use FreeSCAN. Please check out their website for driver information - sites.google.com/site/sixspotsoftware/products/freescan

I want a scanner, now retired,but very low tech and am very confused.......digital,analog or trunked....can you help?Thanks.I did stumble across a site that talked about using a scanner you put you zip code in could this be a good way to go?
We would need to know where your from and who you’re looking to monitor. That will be the deciding factor of what scanner is needed.
