With the help of the internet it is not that hard, but still a considerable time incestment. Checking out what people come up with and trying different classes is very fun in pathfinder.
As an experienced player, I kind of disagree and agree at the same time. In principle, you can just close your eyes and imagine what kind of character you want to have, and then you'll pretty much find something that fits the bill in the archetypes. If you have an idea in your head of what you would like to play, then it's probably right there for you. You don't have to look through every class; just go to the ones that appeal the most and pick the archetype that best matches what's in your head.
@humpahumpason7734 honestly your priority should always be what is fun for you. If that means you have to turn down the difficulty to ensure your own DIY build works, then do it. Nobody is policing your fun time.

I want to play 3 of these archetypes already. I always wanted a way to be a Cavalier that rides a Griffon, but now we have a Ranger on a Hippogriff which is close enough.
With the final DLC, will you be doing builds or guides for the game again? It’s been awhile and many changes have happened to the game since the beta days.
Ok, after watching your live playthroughs and your guide for the new players, I've decided to give it a try. I'm almost done with Bg3 and after that I'm starting with Pathfinder. I know it won't be easy, but I'm really fired up. Thank you for the great job. Your channel is really awesome. Keep up the good work. Cheers!
I'd love a Starfinder game. Just the thought of how in depth they'd go with the classes/archetypes there takes me to a happy place. I get that they'd probably like to do their own IP or something different than Paizo games, but they do them so well, I'll remain hopeful.
Owlcat has copied the module math pretty diligently and....... The math is terrible for Starfinder- super unforgiving. You think you have all the options, but if you're not an Operative and not min maxing you're gonna have a bad time. That and buying the same gun 6 times as you level is weird
Oh wow. These look amazing. Some thoughts: -If a kinetic sharpshooter adds weapon damage from their ranged weapon, they could boost their blasts quite significantly; I also wonder if the crit range will come from the weapon. A trickster kinetic sharpshooter or trickster-to-legend sharpshooter could be insane burst; firing kinetic blasts from the Killing Pace bow, or potentially one of the nice crossbows like Evercold... what a way to play. You could also use axes or darts (if they are allowed) to benefit from skald song buffs. -I am intrigued by an intelligence-based inquisitor. It could potentially synergize with an intelligence based caster as part of a legend build (such as ~20 Inquisitor, ~20 sword saint with dip in loremaster or similar). -The arcanist sounds incredibly fun - I'm wondering if when you combine spells you can turn single target into AoE by taking on the area of say grease with the effects of say, hideous laughter, to make some kind of horrendous grease/hideous laughter hybrid spell. Another possibility is the Elemental Barrage mythic ability - it's currently basically useless, but if you could combine spells that deal different types of elemental damage you could trigger if off every cast. If you can include single-target effects on AoEs, you could also do things like make say a blizzard that also hits enemies with the snowball spell for a chance to stagger. I think there's quite a lot of possibility, depending on how it works. Also I wonder if you can learn additional classes' spells as a Loremaster and use them - combining things like spike stones with other effects could be interesting. Overall I am way more excited for most of these than I was for the last batch of new archetypes. They do look game changing, which really makes me excited to try them.

The one question I have, is what 2h weapons would be worth dual wielding? I guess you could dual wield reach weapons. In theory you'd want weapons that give a strong buff to you, but I'm struggling to think of one off the top of my head. Maybe dual wield staves, and get double caster level and DC boosts off them?

i just started playing wotr again like a week ago and i was suddenly reminded why i have never finished this game... the buffing is mandatory in every fight and it's tedious as hell, i hope they find a QOL solution for this if they still plan on updating it after this DLC

4 levels of fighter at the absolute most so the boon companion feat will boost your hippogriff to match your level otherwise it'll fall behind you would be the most important thing
Just realized this, you made an error with the Sable Company Marine. It's not a griffon, it's a Hippogriff, completely different creature...sort of, they are a mix between a griffon and a horse. They also review My Little Pony things on youtube for the last 10 years(SilverQuill), or are just in the show in the last 3 seasons with their ability to swap between hippogriff and seapony forms...yeah that's gonna be my new mount.

Achaekek warpriest getting added right around Paizo showing that Achaekek kills Gorum in War of Immortals feels too convenient to be a coincidence.
A future video idea - wouldn't mind hearing your take on how turn based vs RtwP in this particular game plays out.
i just started playing wotr again like a week ago and i was suddenly reminded why i have never finished this game... the buffing is mandatory in every fight and it's tedious as hell, i hope they find a QOL solution for this if they still plan on updating it after this DLC
Can't wait for Devil
This is sick as heck. Titan fighter is what I've wanted. Time for Titan Fighter long reach Legend with slayer
So if you do Magus / Titan Fighter can you still do spell combat with a 2hand?
It depends on how the game handles the free offhand when you're only using one two hander which we won't until it drops
This game is bloody mad and i love it
Ah was hoping for some more eldritch class with tentacles insanity and etc, oh well Grave Singer Titan Fighter it is.
MORE CLASSES? I mean I always go for simple paladin in any game i play, but i do get the rush when there's 100 classes to choose from, makes my Paladino feel special when I choose it. xD
Does anyone know if this game has voice acting. Because im reading mixed reviews online about how much is voiced and how much isnt
the DLC can't come soon enough, ive been waiting for these season passes to be done to jump back into the game and play through it again a couple times
Sad no new rogues, but most of these sound amazing.
I plan to multi class sable company marine and titan fighter. Any tips?
4 levels of fighter at the absolute most so the boon companion feat will boost your hippogriff to match your level otherwise it'll fall behind you would be the most important thing
Finally some content for Rangers! although i would have loved even more.
FINALLY! it was always the logical choice for the Devil Path - to corrupt the immortal queen, or at least marry Abrogail! the finally did it!
truly the best way to experience an owlcat game is to play it 5 years after release
Any advice for someone trying to get into pathfinder? Do you typically play turn based or real time with pause?
I alternate depending on the fight, you can switch in and out of it at any moment
Dhampir bloodseeker. Vampire!!
403 hours clocked on this game already. 285 on 1 playthrough and yet here I am ready to buy more content and go again...
Hey bud. What difficulty do you play on?
Ive played and beaten the game on all of them, generally I play on Core though
I need to start before the new DLC drops or I'll actually combust when I get to the Character Creation screen this time.
Will Gold Dragon path get reworked as well?
Not with this update at least.
@@MortismalGaming Thx, but 😥
Pathfinder Most Underated CRPG ever. I personal like this game even more than Baldur Gate
are single-class builds good for hard difficulty?
They can be, just depends on the build and pary comp
AH...So Gorion's Ward found his way into Golarion huh? I see you, good and well cultured Ser.,
