@@Artichoke18 At some point, I'd love to see a video with any tips and tricks for the copy to points instancer in geo nodes that you've got there. The view gets a little cutoff to really examine how you're treating the "class" attributes for instanced geo.
For anyone wondering if this is the only way to import point caches with custom attributes, USD import in blender supports custom primvars (basically usd attributes), but animated sequences made of multiple files are not supported, so if a sim is very heavy you might end up with a super heavy single file (that might not export easily in the first place)
You got a great simulation, you should make a video explaining how to use the addon to export to blender works, I have not been able to use it because I still do not know how to accommodate the nodes in houdini to export the simulations well.
That's super awesome thanks bro 🔥 Can you do a tutorial about the geometry node side of this addon like using the class attribute to scatter the right meshes on the right points.
que tal bro ? como haces funcionar motion blur en blender ? cuando importo los atributos y los puntos y lugo hago instancias no funciona el motion blur. alguna ayuda?
Hey! For the grid tecture I used this one: blendermarket.com/products/shading-scale-grid-textures---assetkit-texture Then there is a couple of concrete/asfalt textures mixed with noises
hey i have a more detailed video on how to use the addon: ua-cam.com/video/t2YqaBBTXrE/v-deo.html&ab_channel=Artichoke if you still can not make it work, could you let me know? thanks!
Sorry I'm not a c4d user. But, i guess If you find the way to export the point and velocity of the particles as a texture (as I do in Houdini), you could adapt my geometry nodes set up to make it work... good luck! And thanks :)
Wow man this is incredibly. Such a smart way to store the data and also the way you did the rbd sim in houdini was so efficient.
Commenting AGAIN! -- I just tried this out and it's incredibly easy and works with no hassle. Absolutely incredible.
Happy to hear that :)

This is just amazing on so many levels. Thank you!
Single-handedly fixing the usually janky workflow is amazing, good job!
This is an absolutely genius idea
This is what i have been locking for 🔥

Professional workflow and outcome, appreciate this video!
god bless you very much
WOW-- this is exactly what I've needed-- thank you

You are a lifesaver man keep it up!!!
whre can i get that background texture?
bro is a god level bravo
That's super awesome thanks bro 🔥

WOW!!! I need to try this out!!
yes yu are the man....

Nice well explained
How did you separate your bricks and stones so that they were in the same order as in Houdini?
Need details more video Houdini to blender ❤❤
Could you share the geonodes in blender that you use for instances?
Cool! how did you export the flag to blender?
I want to know how to inport fluid to blender
hey man totally unrelated question about the addon ahaha, but where I can find a Blueprint texture like the oine you using on the background drop ?

i am 0 in 3d world. how can i create this?
can you tell me how to learning, which software?
can you give me some steps to do?

This is good to instance one objet to all point. but for a building . we cant make the same things. how we do transform pieces in to blender ?
With orient attribute for orientation and name attribute for instance picking
I can't seem to figure out how you exported the simulation points from houdini, any tips?
Here you can find a tutorial, let me know if it helps: ua-cam.com/video/t2YqaBBTXrE/v-deo.htmlsi=_kdAq7U6nzjJ8q0c
Bro, one question, what Houdini license do you use? If I use the indie one, will it let me export to Blender?
yeah
Hi,master,I had installed HTB addon, but when I. Import particle abc in blender,I couldn't find HTB plane to import attribute in blender
