Can't understand why you put up with Tucker's shenanigans as long as you did. In my world at 6 mos he'd a been in a soup pot.😅 BTW did you get thru last Friday's storms OK? Been watching weather reports since last Wednesday.

The highland bull looked like Geronimo.
It was Geronimo.
That big red Scottish Highland bull is Gary Walker's bull 'Geronimo'. I know him anywhere.
Gary took all of his Highlands to the auction last week. Geronimo is unique because his horns turn downward instead of up. He's a friendly bull and let's you pet him and brush him. 😊

WOW Hi you got some beautiful looking Birds now & so glad Bobby is no longer alone. I hope Peacocks have more them 2 partner in the season. You will want to have them in a really large pen with lots of room to be in. Bobby & the other mail will have some battles Might need 2 more girls for them.

You need one of the greenhouse frames like Crandall from The Eldridge Fam got. Don't know how far you guys are from each other but that greenhouse frame would be the perfect habitat for your peacocks! Thanks for sharing the auction! It was a treat!
Pehens lay a big clutch before they'll sit on any eggs. Just put some hay in corner to make a nest and they should lay their eggs in nest. Make it fluffy.write date on pehens eggsghtly with pencil

Yes. If I had the land and was local I would have taken the 2 Jacob (Rams) they are so kool. I would love a couple others and as much as they are beautiful. Not so sure I want fowl but I wouldn’t mind Chochen chickens again. Yeah better I never go to one of those. Most of the animals look pretty healthy as I imagine auctions to be. My problem is I want most all of them.. lol. I have to settle for my three Nigerian Dwarf goatees though I really do wish I had a bit more space for a few more goats. Hey I love the Peafowl but I just read that you need four - five females for per male so you may have to make two separate enclosures for them.

Hello Dutch and family. You sure put up with Tucker way longer then I would have or many people for that matter! The peacock and peahens are so cool very pretty! I hope Bobby continues to guard the homestead and doesn’t have any problems with the new peacock. If he ( new peacock) doesn’t get along maybe Brandon will buy him. He really pretty. I cant wait to see him spread his feathers to see his colors.
@jeanettec6212 The white peacock Tail feathers aren't the same color as Bobby's tail feathers. The White Peacock tail feathers are going to be white with a little blue-green in it

I was adopted and met my birth mom in my 20's. She raised peacocks on county government farm land. I've always loved peacocks, in fact I have several decorated items, a silk scarf on the back on my couch, etc with peacocks on them. Several of my sun dresses (I live in Kenya so thats all I wear) are peacock feather motif in different colors.
I thought Brandon would be looking for a tom turkey.

I always feel sad when i see peafowl for sale seperate like that,theyre known to bond for life. Unlike some of the other birds.

Bobby is really looking beautiful!! So glad he has an audience for his extravagant tail!! The new male is also beautiful -- looks a bit like the Victoria Crown pigeons MaryCarl Smith has at Cog Hill Farm. They also have 1 male peacock and a bunch of females.
What about getting leg bands for the peahens and even the other peacock so even if they take off if found the band will have your contact information and you would stand a better chance of getting them back.

Peahens are ground layers. They most likely built nests, started to lay, and your heavy predator load just picked them right off

My uncle had several peacocks walking around his farm. They were friendly like Bobby, and I never saw them be aggressive. I would have got rid of Tucker as well. Can't have an animal running around that you don't trust. God bless
Dutch those a Jake up sheep, that’s one of the original sheep, that the Lord had roaming the lands❤❤❤ they are good meat, producers and milk producers make some good cheese out of that milk.

Dutch - a thought about the wild hogs...contact Daniel for the info for the gentleman who picks up the hogs and they go to a hunting ranch. They will still be someone's supper, but you won't need to actually do the shooting if you don't want to. Glad you got rid of Tucker - it was past time.

We have a Peacock running loose up here. He roost to keep away from the coyotes. I am surprise he is still with us , but every spring I hear him and Mr. Wild Turkey. Every ones guinea hens. They always disappear, they disappear on their own. Tree roosters., but they are not trainable to stay put. I worked at Humane Society. Found a male bunny as a herd rabbit. He manage to keep them in a circle and not wander off. He was in love with the birds.

Btw the lama 's and Alpaca 's especially i really like, we have a little child zoo around the corner of my street with farm animals only and i love the Alpaca 's they have, they have cute hair when they are still very young. And this market you ve been to is very diverse i noticed, i was worried a bit bout that lump on that back of that little Bull. Loved your video as always! Greets from Holland!!!

That male highland looks like Geronimo , Gary walkers' one who wouldn't produce calves!

Gary had him tested and he was fine. He thought a cooler area would be more successful for calves. He did not have dam which would enable them to keep cool in the summer heat.

You need to buy 2 camels a male and female my buddy bought 2 now he has 6. Low maintenance. Only very few Vets deal with them.. I rode them several times pretty cool in the bush.
