That’s what I did, I bought a 2015 ZL1 and a 2015 RS, both manual and both metallic blue. I installed the silver Yenko stripes on both and most people don’t know the difference. I daily the RS and weekend the ZL1 which is almost 10 mpg difference.
Cool. I think the same way as you. I got the v6. I almost got the v8 but when I took the v6 out for a spin, it was fast to me because I had never driven a sports car. I had only been driving a Montana and sedan. The v8 was a lot more money and not worth it at the time. The gas mileage is decent too.
I had a 17 Mustang 5.0 6 speed.. I have a great driving record have multi car discount and the insurance is ridiculous. Got rid of it after 2 years and now have a '16 Camaro v6 manual, fun as hell and was able to pay cash for it from a private seller that took really good care of it.
Bro why everyone hate on V6 muscle cars? I own a 2018 charger R/T... yeah the HEMI sounds mean af, but I will be the first to tell you I LOVE the sound of the V6 camaros!! They actually sound really good man and they come from the factory with what like 320 at the crank? Like wtf why hate on that most these people out here in old V8 cars not even pushing 300 to the crank lol. It’s crazy how people judge you on your engine size lmao. This world man.
Well to be fair you do feel a lot faster and can have more fun with under 300 hp in a classic. That being said these V6 Camaros are nice nothing wrong with them they sound pretty good and are quick.
I bought a 2011 RS today. I've always driven trucks so to me this thing is bad ass . I'm actually really glad I didn't start out with V8 this one's already too much car for me 🤣🤣
DAREAL CHEENO Necks will be broken but That muffler delete I promise sounds like shit LOL loud is not always good. I promise every single person that hears your car take off cringes hard af.... do yourself a favor and dont run straight pipes on a v6
DAREAL CHEENO I started off with a muffler delete and I loved the sound when at idle. The day I heard someone drive my car off made me realize how horrible it really sounded. I upgraded and got a full catback exhaust x pipe and resonator delete. That opened up my car and adding a cold air intake made my exhaust sound even better. Once I was done with a few basic mods I added the trifecta tune and my car woke up and it's like driving a totally different car.
Mine is a V6 has a Borla exhaust and a KnE cold air intake so I’m ok with that. I don’t race I have a very good driving record, just love the power and sound of my Camaro.
So you overspent for a name like Borla, and a cold air intake only delivers a couple degrees cooler, and definitely not a real improvement. Pushing a normal may sound sound good to your friends, but it really doesn't improve performance. If you seriously got the cash for afford maintenance then get yourself at least a 12
@@bobsebring3377 I don’t over spent I bought it already with kne cold air intake and Borla exhaust and it’s in my garage waiting for summer to come lol
I too have a V6 2LT RS Camaro. A lot of people say they would have to have a SS. Well they don't. The payments, up keep, insurance is a huge difference. I just had new tires put on my car. That was 1,500.00 dollars. If it was a SS It would have been more. My car looks and sounds good. That's all that matters to me!
The difference between a V6 and a V8 is the fact, a V6 is something you can afford on your own where as V8s are for those who haven't for the most part made it on their own. Practicality is reality. Every month your shelling out money. Definitely, though gas and insurance. Not mention things that pop up. A V8 means your gonna pay alot more for just owning it. As long as I got the power to get me out of a fix like right now, I need nothing else.
I don’t know. I see more base engine camaros and mustangs than SS & GT’s. Hopped up 6 sounds like fun though. Just make sure you have the rubber and brakes to tame the power.
Yah it’s sad everyone dogs in the v6. I’m in high school worked my ass off got a 2015 Camaro and yah it’s a v6 but I can’t afford the ss issuance and mantance on to of gas I’d be in over my head. And when people learn it’s a v6 I get so much crap witch sucks because I love my car and wish people would just appreciate it for what it is and not what it’s not.
I've had my 2017 2SS Camaro for 2 years, and the lifetime average gas mileage for the 30,000 miles I've put on it is 24 miles per gallon!! Again, that's the lifetime COMBINED fuel mileage! 24 miles per gallon average!
I have to reinstate a V6 is more than enough for a everyday driver on the street. Any so called boost to the original design is only going to wear out the car sooner!
Bob Sebring 9/10 people that add boost is not worried about the longevity of the car. boost is usually one of the last mods a guy is gonna do so it won’t be to long until he sells it and starts building some thing else
Man I'm going through the same thing! I'm selling my 05 chevy Silverado lifted 6 inches on 35s and I'm about to get a v6 2010 red Camaro lol I just worry about not having a 4x4 and can't hual nothing. Do u miss having a truck and the comfort of know u have a 4x4 for the snow and stuff. I'm so stressed out about it and I didn't want a payment either cuz I own my truck. I subscribed man. You will be my guide/inspiration lol
John Mcglasson awesome! And I do miss my truck yes. Having a truck is very handy and having the “insurance” of having that 4x4 if you need it is definitely reassuring. I want to get a truck in the future in addition to my car however right now it wouldn’t be a smart move. Fortunately it doesn’t snow to too much here (still snows a couple times a year) but nothing like some states and cities. Worst case scenario I just won’t go anywhere obviously. But having a car is definitely more fun, and is a lot better on gas
Austin Barkdoll I live near asheville nc in a place called Hendersonville and it snows some times. I like going out in it but I guess I technically don't have too lol
John Mcglasson you’ve probably seen me lol. I grew up and lived in fletcher by the airport until about two years ago. My dad is off upward rd in hendersonville/flat rock. So very familiar with the area, just moved up to hickory due to work about w months ago
John Mcglasson yeah we’re off of Howard gap and upward rd. So not far at all. I come back to the area pretty regularly as well so you’ll probably see me at some point
I’m 18 and insurance is a bitch even for a v6 I pay about 300 on insurance and I have a 2013 Camaro v6 convertible and it’s modded I run about 4.7 0 to 60
Why not just buy both? That's what I did. I bought an SS as well as an RS. It's the best of both worlds. I get to choose what color car I want to drive that day, whether I want to drive a fast car or a really fast car, whether I want to get good gas mileage or throw caution to the wind and drive the SS that day. My SS is the Synergy Green which has been lowered on BMR 1.4's, it has a Cold Air Inductions intake, and it has been straight piped, and my RS is the 100% stock yellow Bumblebee.
I Know Better if your living in california u got way bigger problems than a manual or automatic lol better to have auto so u have a free hand to hold your weed with i guess 🥴

There is no Camaro V6 "RS" stupid, only Camaros 1LS, 2LS, 1LT, 2LT, 1SS, 2SS, ZL1, Z28 🤦
RS is a package available to both LTs and SSs 🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦

2020 Camaro v6, 2 options ,7 miles, only $26,500. Paid all cash. Great Deal! Great car!
That’s actually a fantastic deal that must have been pre Covid
I have a v6 and I’m slowly mod my too saving to install a pro charger stage 1
Just curious, i have a v6 what is the exact pro charger you’re installing ? I have 6th gen
Overkill stage1 I’m thinking no sure yet.

The speed limit here is 40, 50 and 70. Don’t need a V8 unless you need a truck.
Then there's no reason to own a sports car to do the speed limit.
Where did you get the “RS” headrest badges? Looks sweet!!
i just bought a 2014 canary yellow best buy ever
I’m doing the same bruh we got to represent for HT
I just got a 2011 Camaro 1LT/RS only 55,000 miles Synergy Green very rare color I love it :D

I looked at camaros online today the v8s are so exspensive
The v6s are kinda high too
But not bad cause you pay more for a sports car
The v8 is so exspensive
The v8 has power
More torque
And gas tank that takes up a lot of gass
A v6 would be a good starter for anyone
Interested in getting a sports car
Then they can upgrade to a v8
My own opinion im worse that v8 may be two much power
Like if you slightly press it
It will go from 0to60 really quick
Maybe because that's because I drive like cautious grandma
And drive a Chevy Cruze
Is the v8 Camaro scary to drive
Should I just get a v6 i4
Or just get a vw golf gti
Mitsibishi evo
Cause I'm worried that the v8 might be two hard to handle
I wouldn't mind owning a v8
The only that I'm worried about is being able to handle such a monster of a car
Dudeeeeee show your car wtf come on hahahahahaha I wanted to see the old v6
Ur broke i got a ss im jus 19 this my 5th car

SS or nothing lol
people should get what they can afford and il never recomend an ss as someones first sports car.
