I have been attempting to do my own hair in protective styles for years and when I tell you that YOU CHANGED MY LIFE???....I have been twisting the wrong direction this whole time. Twisting to my right meant twisting away from my hair, not toward it. Which is explains why my hair never wanted to stay where it was supposed to. I can't believe this. LOL. Thank you so much for this tutorial.
I googled “Passion twist without rubber band method” and your picture popped up. Wasn’t thinking nothing of it, I went to UA-cam and did the same thing, and your video was the first one! It’s meant to be. Let me go ahead and do my hair today. 🥰🥰
Seriously this is the first time i comment that much on a youtuber videos/ tutorials. Your videos are so great!!!! Makeup, hairstyle... 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 thank you for sharing! You are a great teacher!
I've loved passion twist for the longest and I've paid 3 times one time I paid too much...there were other two times where I payed a decent amount but I love this protective hair style so much that pretty soon I will start practicing....wish me luck thank you for the tutorial...by the way you are beautiful
U have to twist the hair in the same direction it comes to get that juicy twist look ....trust me i found that out the hard way. U can literally feel when its not twisting right. Its a certain feeling u will get when u know its going in the right direction.
No the direction of the twist definitely matters! Because I had that same issue ! And then I started twisting counterclockwise and it looked so much smoother and better ! It’s not just your mental.! Because the same thing happened to me ! Lol
Love the size/density...great job!👏❤...You inspired me to try this style again. The first time I attempted twists, I put in too many. The density was horrible...and I took them out in 2 weeks. Thanks again.
Hey, Jasmine once you have twisted the hair down and it is not twisted the right way do you suggest that you do the process over on that one twist in the opposite direction
do you have another link for the hair? It's not working. Also how long did you wear it for while it still looked good? Was the rubberband visible at all?
Keep your braids in for at least 2-3 months. Wash with mixture of 2 parts water to one part apple cider vinager and a few drops of pure tea tree oil as often as needed -focus on the scalp to keep fungs away. And put in a good leave in condition- like a light oil spray everyday.
Thank you queen I’m attempting to do this style for myself for the first time and I thought I was the only one who noticed that twisting to the left looked more secure and I was confused what side to twist to so thanks for saying that in this video ✅🤍🤍🤍
GORGOUS WORK - But I dont understand this tutorial...... For Example at 13:18 tge left side is the side that you've manually twisted into your hair? And, the right side of the screen is the side that you've simply installed pre twisted hair straight from the bag? *OR did all of this hair come UNTWISTED and you actually MANUALLY TWIST ALL OF YOUR TWIST BY HAND? IF THIS IS TRUE.... EXPLAIN HOW YOU WERE ABLE TO GET YOUR TWIST SO SUPER FLUFFY aka REALISTIC?? (especially on the right side of the screen* Thanks
Great look! For 2022, everyone, that is a latch hook. The "crochet needle" has been called the wrong name, please look it up (latch hook, crochet hook, knitting needle), thanks.
I love, love, love your hair style sis!!!! The whole method was explained really well and I’m going to try it too! One question were the rubber bands visible after doing the style??
Yessss. Very well explained. I'm definitely trying this. I never crotched hair in my own hair before.. so I usually do my sister's or cousins hair. I have not done my own hair in yearrrss!! But this! I am confident that I will do an awesome job.. you look beautiful and it fits you. Love it !!🤩🤩 keep it up QUEEN!!
Maybe instead of pulling threw fully, you do it like a reg. Crochet(Pull everything threw the loop) & the twist hair should cover the rubber band. Try 1 and see.
New subscriber. I love your video & how you take your time to explain everything. You look great. Your hair & makeup is on point.Wishing you much success. I’m glad that I found your channel. Stay safe & continue to be Blessed ✝️♥️✝️♥️✝️♥️✝️♥️✝️

So about that comb where did you get it and love this by the way
Rubber band method is good for hair that slips I have to redo the front and back because it kept slipping.
U have to twist the hair in the same direction it comes to get that juicy twist look ....trust me i found that out the hard way. U can literally feel when its not twisting right. Its a certain feeling u will get when u know its going in the right direction.
Thanks now I can do them myself and won't have to worry about them falling out
No the direction of the twist definitely matters! Because I had that same issue ! And then I started twisting counterclockwise and it looked so much smoother and better ! It’s not just your mental.! Because the same thing happened to me ! Lol

I looooooove your video, so helpful! And girl you so beautiful!!😍👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Thank you love ❤️
You didn’t pull the hair apart like other videos and I love how they look extra sleek
thank you!
how do you get the rubber bands out when you’re done without ripping out your hair?
Get a comb nd try to pop the rubber band by finding the rubber band then pull on the rubber band with the comb until it pop
what angel said - or if you separate it from your hair you can cut it.
@@SlimReshae sum ppl not good with scissors girl i wouldnt advise it🤷🤷😂😂
I’m doing this today getting my hair when I get off
yassss
How much packs of passion twist braid did you used
watch until the end, i mention this! xoxo

the hair comes twisted, so i untwisted to install (both sides i manually twisted into my hair) as the hair expands it becomes fluffier

They were, I haven’t figured out how to hide them but they weren’t super noticeable because my hair was black
Yessss. Very well explained. I'm definitely trying this. I never crotched hair in my own hair before.. so I usually do my sister's or cousins hair. I have not done my own hair in yearrrss!! But this! Love the style wonder if my hair will blend my hair is naturally curly or frizzy out quick?
the edge control should help with preventing frizz; you can also use setting mouse to tame frizz.
Great tutorial
Thank you!
You’re Hella pretty!
thank you!
Did you like the hair you used? Or the other hair where you have to individually twist?
i liked both - this hair was nice and lightweight (i liked alot), the other hair was heavier because i used more strands and it was longer.
So how long do the braids last?
Looks great
Thanks!

Thank you so much!!
You look so much like Bianca Lawson 😯😍
I'm going my passion twist... what way do u twist the braid. To left or right is better. Please someone help ..
twist with the grain of the hair. it depends on how you install. if you twist one way and the twist is loose, twist in the other direction.
If the band breaks will the hair come loose? Or the knot will secure it
the knot should secure it unless you hair is super soft, it might be prone to sliding if the rubber band pops
Very pretty.
thank you!
How long did it take to do this??
Looks very pretty.
Do the rubber bands eventually pop off? If so, how long did they last without popping? Did it el affect the twists?
mine did not pop
Anyone know how many packs of hair she used???
Can anyone tell me if the knot really makes a difference??
I myself want to do the rubber band method because I know I won’t have a much grip How look did you keep the hair in for?
typically 3-4 weeks
@@SlimReshae i finally got them done and its been a week id say and they still look good! thank you!
I’m definitely going to try this look btw it looks beautiful
Thank you 🙏🏾
I love the size
thanks!
It’s so cute!!
thank you!
How many packs did you use for this style & how was the takedown with the rubber bands in? Did they get tangled?
Watch till the end- # of packs are mentioned & no tangling during the take down
It looks GREAT!!!! Thank you ✨✨
