- I flew to Germany to check out the 605PS Audi S8 Plus, and had an opportunity to take it out on the Autobahn and local roads to the factory in Neckarsulm.

Tim, ok so 1,4 MILLION likes i doubt you will read this, but have a team reading it, either way I hope you get the point of this message from me, You messaged me SOOO many months ago with advice about video editing etc, and i am a long time subscriber, and your current trip with Sam, Paul & Seb is GREAT to watch, every day I'm refreshing to see who has uploaded a video! not going to lie, Sam you make my day. your videos and the way you just crack on with outtakes and whatever is great!!! so please keep the VLOGS coming every day. i have been driving through tunnels with my S4 with Miltek system constantly here in gibraltar! (tim 675 LT is amazing, saw one at track day at silverstone other week, first time i realised out Ariel Atom was actually slow.....madness) Tim sod the Haters......like you said yourself haters will always be haters, and jealousy is a bitter emotion to have so ignore them! I watch your videos because i enjoy them and love to see what your getting up to, not because I'm curious to what you do to get your cars. people who sit in all day watching and wondering how you afford your cars obviously do nothing and are jealous of the fact they won't get what you have! I just drove from the new forest (meridian Modena ;) ) to dover, dover - calais and then on to toulouse and did toulouse to gibraltar (1500km in 11 hours!!) Audi V8's are such mile munchers!! Someday I may be able to get one of these, someday. It's one of my dreamcars. I drove an A8, not the S8 and almost bought it but the wife wanted a house instead.

I used to work for a VW/Audi dealer back in the 90s and drove the A8 (4.2l) when it was first introduced - that was a nice drive and wasn't exactly a slouch, so I can only imagine what this S8 is like.

Love your videos Shmee - GT4 & FF - definately two of my fav. cars at the moment, the 675LT looks amazing too - first McLaren I really love the looks of. It would be cool if you would differentiate these 'test drive event' videos slightly more. All the 570S videos where in my oppinion slightly repetive, I'd like to see the trips to your test drives as pure travel and 'behind the scenes' type of videos - and then having the full test drive and detailed introduction in one video. I respect you showing your life to the world like this, I know me and my friends wouldn't.

I think it's hilarious when they put little bits of carbon fiber on the dash on a car that weighs the size of a small moon. I'd rather just have beautiful dark wood on this car than that carbon fiber.
Yeah, carbon fiber is perfect for track only cars. I prefer real dark walnut inlay trim, dashboard and center console for a fine high quality automobile like this.

I remember when this first S8 came out everyone was going crazy, this was the first big size sedan 0-60 in around 4 sec and back then I think the best a sedan would get was 6 sec. but then again in no time the tesla came out 0-60 in 3 sec :D
I must say that Tim is getting boring or more likely getting bored himself because of his lack of interests in cars of lower specs than his BLUE CREW. Deny all you guys want but im not a hater honestly. I kind of feel that he has been material oriented recently and is much blinded by fame that he has lately been neglecting the true passion for other automobiles in general other. I AM A LOYAL SUPPORTER OF THE SHMEE150 CHANNEL AND TIM and i do sincerely hope that Tim himself will not lose TRUE PASSION for automobiles of all sorts and wish he is never just running these social channels for the sake of a job and money.. On the inside sounds like a straight six up high in the revs which isn't necessarily a bad thing
render your video's with a stereo sound output. It's pretty annoying when you're behind the camera and your voice comes from different directions.

Probably Audi's best car, looks very pro in each day use for a pro driver, BUT how about next to the huge BMW 7. which one for VIP-Transporter, with or without ekstra tune and special gear, armor ?

Mirrors that fold upwards are so stupid. There is no thought in that at all.
When it snows, you come back and your mirror are covered in snow/ice. Then it takes a while for the heaters to melt everything.
The Mercs used to properly fold and almost touch the doors, and that actually kept the snow from sticking to the mirror.
To be honest, it sounds very aritificial...and the gearshifts seemed very slow, well maybe because it was in a comfort setting. It looks quite good at least.

Elias Munana i hope you will get it one day. Iam interested in the 4.2 l diesel engine. Here in austria we pay way too much taxes for this lot hp. So I have to buy the diesel version on it and tune it up a litle.
Doesn't get much more baller than an S8. Wish Audi made something like a Maybach. Not that I would be able to afford it, but still!
I hope that it sounds better in person. Audi's (except for the R8) never really have had great exhaust notes, but this is just nonexistent lol

Had a run with an RS5 recently, all stock, when the owner just cruises around it's pretty incognito, but when it's in sport/dynamic mode, the exhaust sure gets louder and gives the car more presence.

I'm about to buy a 17 audi s8. Does anybody have any pros or cons to owning one of these. I'm going from a Volvo s60 to one of these. I'm hoping it has the same reliability and dependable like my Volvo

Overall interior looks cool except one detail - that analog clock looks too cheap and doesn't fit to car of that price level... it should be branded by one of luxury watch brand (like IWC in Mercedes AMG)
