I Can't Get Next To You - The Temptations 'Reunion' (1982) | Live on Solid Gold

Happy Sunday, Temptations Community! Today I wanted to share with you the Temptations Reunion's one and only televised performance in 1982.
The Temptations 'Reunion' are performing their #1 1969 hit song "I Can't Get Next To You," live on a TV show called "Solid Gold Classic" in 1982. The episode was filmed before the reunion tour ended and aired in January 1983. All seven Temptations take turns sharing lead on this one. As you all already know, Eddie's downgrading voice is shown here in the performance. Due to all the smoking that caused him not only to lose his falsetto, but it also gave him lung cancer. Despite Eddie losing his voice, this performance is straight gold!
