Michael would've been the best Luke Cage!!! Crazy they didn't reach out to him for that role. The action scenes would've been epic!! Maybe they did and he turned it down.

It’s true. The toughest people have good hearts. After getting your heart broken so many times or so harshly, it makes you develop a tough skin, an aggression like no other. And then unfortunately when you want to make it in life and be normal, the only way you can is by learning how to switch it on and off. Unfortunately not everyone can. This man learned how to do that. I had to learn how to do that and I give my thanks to god for that. If you have grown up in inner-city America in places like BK, Harlem, Chicago, Trenton, Camden, ATL, B-More, Gary, Memphis, Oakland, LA, Detroit, Philly, Miami, New Orleans or many other places you're more than likely going to be exposed to gangs or gangster shit. It's not that deep, it's only deep to people who are not from those types of environments. Hip hop today isn't deep at all but it's more popular today than it was in the '90s when it was deep because people look at these urban rappers or gangsters as animals in a zoo and now it's on a world stage. I grew up in Chicago and I know Italians who grew up in Melrose Park that have crazier gangster stories than some Black folks I know from Englewood. At the end of the day, the world is a ghetto and it's run by gangsters.

There's something called safe gun distance. He said its starts face to face. He know that they are going to talk, when they are talking tough and points the gun, he strikes and take the gun from them.
Its a risky move. I have never done that. Get ur head took off if ur too slow. The bigger risk is the gun going off and hitting a watcher of the fight.
Safe gun distance deals with being to close to ur target as as shooter. From a combat perspective it arm distance to maximum strike.
For example a rifle, if I'm too close you can grab it. You also have to be able to not let it go off.

I am doing BJJ now and I LOVE fighting with the young guys choking people out and being choked out. In the 70s and early 80s we were not punks. We fought with our hand, maybe a knife. We did not shoot as quick as they do now. I think today's gangsters are cowards because they go STRAIGHT to guns. Real men are not afraid to duke it out. @Hetero Sapien no not personally... I was 12 when we moved so... I wasn't active in the community... really wasn't one the projects are... like a island it's own entity no... police no nothing really it's sad... I didn't blame the white man then... but I do now not for everything but for... making a placing like that with a maybe...1 in 1000th chance to escape I was... fortunate I was blessed with intelligence... through birth also a conscious but... I was a Roman in Rome to an extinct... I wasn't glorifying only relating.... you only vomit so many times.... you only flinch at gunshots so many times... after awhile death is a part of life... I'm expressing this in lowest terms... you become desensitized and your environment... becomes the norm...

I know hes official with the martial arts and i dont really doubt he roamed the streets but whats leaving me perplexed is who leaves home to run the streets, but still responsible enough to keep taking martial arts classes? Lol i mean did he complete all training by like 15 or something. Thats the only part that gets me. Or did he get his training from one of the homies or some shit? Did he finish training after he matured and got out of the street life?

Drue so you’re assuming he’s making an argument from ignorance then? Also, you are now going to support his claim that being able to do things to people “on the streets” with no consequences is addicting?
Let’s say that’s true, it not but for the sake of argument let’s agree it is. What evidence do you Stand on to support this claim? Do you have personal anecdotal evidence, did you read it in a book? Can you give me some examples where people were addicted to this type of behavior as well as proving they did so with little to no consequences?
I’m the weirdo? People like you two are jerk offs. Just presenting “facts” that have no basis in reality. How could the Grind make this statement with any confidence unless he was a tough guy experiencing it.
I could give a fuck about a response. I will hop around the internet reading dumb shit people claim and call it out and move on. I do want people to read what I write and think about it. But most people, likely much like yourself, are close-minded fucking idiots.
