As a fellow olive, pinks have always been iffy on me. A couple months ago I tried the RMS blush “French Rose” and it blew my mind. (I hope you get to try it.) Now I’m looking for a good “office” pink to match!
Ooh, I have the RMS in Pomegranate Fizz and I love it. It was the blush I was wearing before I tapped some of the lipstick on my cheeks. I really like the RMS Hydra Blush formula, and I enjoy the shades I have. Pink lipstick has always been difficult for me, but I feel like the shades that Lisa creates work better than any other ones I've tried from other brands.
My favorite formula from Lisa is the saturated mattes, especially Strawberry Shock and Skyscraper Rose. The velvets are hit and miss because some are accentuating lip lines and also they break in the bullet. My ultimate favorite Lisa lipstick was Velvet Carnival but it also broke in the bullet (more than half of my LE velvets did) and I’m not wearing it much since. I should melt it and put it in a plastic container like I did for the others.
I'm sorry you've had such a problem with your matte lipsticks breaking. I have nearly all of them, and only one of mine has broken. It was about 5 years old when it gave up the ghost, and it was my most used and abused. (Velvet Ribbon) I used it nearly to a nub, and I was due for a new one anyway. I really love the Insanely Saturated lipsticks, and Strawberry Shock is such a superb red. I reach for it all the time. I love how bright and cool Skyscraper Rose is. I'm glad I finally picked up Velvet Carnival. It's a fun shade to wear. Thanks so much for watching today!
I just bought the velvet petal and I think it may be my favorite lipstick of all time, I'm not kidding. I am fair like you but have a warmer, peachy undertone so it looks a little peachier on me. I absolutely need sunday matinee. I love velvet rain too. 😀
Velvet Petal is so easy to wear. I wore it non-stop the year it released. I still reach for it, but it was good to go through and swatch all my LE pink lipsticks. It's a great reminder of all the nuanced shades I have in my collection. If you like Petal, you'd really like Sunday Matinee too!
Rosy Shell is my favorite LE lipstick. I hope she releases more lighter pinks because I can’t wear a punchy pink all day long. If she came out with some lighter pinks I could layer them over the punchier pinks to assist with the wear off looking better and not crazy.
I keep thinking I should pick up Rosy Shell, but I'm just not convinced I'm likely to reach for that shade. It is so lovely, but I really prefer a brighter/bold shade. Maybe I should just give it a try and if I don't like it, see if one of my kids would enjoy using it.
@@thelipstickgal it is bright, but I don’t want to don’t want to influence you into buying a shade you wouldn’t wear. I just love that formula so much too and shades and if Rosy Shell as a shade was a different formula, I’m not convinced it would work as well as it does. Thank you for all the swatches and thoughts as always. 💗
I really love the lucent formula, and that's why I'm able to wear so many pinks that wouldn't work for me in a fully opaque formula. I might have to check it out. Thanks!
My understanding of Go Lightly was that it was a limited edition exact dupe of the shade that LE purchased in Audrey Hepburn's lipstick holder. And so it is not really a LE developed shade (maybe that is why you don't like it!). Dance Card is supposed to be similar but more nuanced. I do like that one a lot, but I do better with corals than you do to begin with. I wonder if you might be able to wear that one a lot better than Go Lightly though. It would be an interesting experiment!
Yes, I remember that story about Audrey's lipstick case holder, but I thought she'd continue to make it. I know it's available as a Gloss Embrace shade. I keep thinking that I should try Dance Card, but I don't wear that many coral shades. I do love Je Ne Sais Quoi, so maybe I'd love Dance Card since it's a color Lisa formulated. Perhaps.
Thanks. Some of these shades play to better advantage without such a cool eye look, but . . . I do really love Lisa's formulas and I'm lucky to have a neutral skin tone so I can wear most shades.
Kudos for this video! Even though the lipsticks that you showed us are not new, I really enjoyed seeing your LE lipstick collection and I loved your analysis of the shades. LE Velvet lipsticks are highly pigmented which when combined with different application techniques makes them very versatile and sparks creativity. I personally prefer the Lucent formula as it's creamier and easier to wear daily, but I love how the colour of the Velvets transfigures differently when dabbed, applied with a brush (lipstick and eyeshadow brushes produce different effects too!) or applied straight from the bullet. Overall, even though LE lipsticks tend to be on the more expensive side they offer good value for money. My collection is smaller than yours and my most used lipstick is Painterly. I also love Kitten Mischief (second most used), Midnight Thoughts (mostly dabbed or 1 bullet swipe), Meet Me in Berlin (1 or 2 bullet swipes), Fawn, Muse, Sunday Matinee, Myth and Carnaval. I have to admit that I have troubles with Le Mepris, Je Ne Sais Quoi and Dance Card. Le Mepris is either invisible on me or makes me pale, so I wear it mixed with Meet Me in Berlin. Je Ne Sais Quoi and Dance Card tend to turn orange-y on me. I wonder if Lisa's new Sculpt and Shade lip pencil in 0N can help fix any of my issues. I also wonder how 1C or 2C will work with LE pink lipsticks that you showed us. Would you be interested in creating a video about this? Also, if I have to answer your question above, I would prefer your next video to cover the nudes :). Thanks again for posting this video. Looking at LE lipsticks collection from the standpoint in time we can see Lisa's holistic makeup vision better and appreciate even more her makeup mastery. P.S. I am also hoping for a few new lipstick colours but not too much! We have enough to play with now :) I would be more interested in new innovative and healthy products and new colours in her eyeshadow collection (there was a hint on her IG account that nude eyeshades are coming).
I can't wait to see what she releases next. I would love more eyeshadows in either the palette or the liquid lurex format. I enjoy them both. I'll have to swatch Le Mepris with 1N and 0N lip liners to see if it helps to darken up the lipstick. I rarely wear it on it's own from the bullet, but frequently mix it with other shades because although I enjoy a nude lip, Le Mepris is a bit lighter than I prefer. It is a lovely shade for a dark smoky eye when you need something, but not too much. I don't wear a lot of really dark eye looks, so I'm usually mixing it with other shades or liners. Painterly and Kitten Mischeif are two of my most used Lucent shades. I adore Night Thoughts and Meet Me in Berlin. I'm also a huge fan of Palazzo. I really enjoy my entire LE lipstick collection. Thanks so much for watching. I think I've already promised to record the reds next, but expect to see the nude shades right after that!
@@thelipstickgal I echo your thoughts and experience with Le Mepris and I feel it might work well with 1N and 0N. Looking forward to the next LE lipstick videos :)
I have many of these, too, but not Rose Official or Velvet Pompadour, but now I feel like I need them. Velvet Pompadour is really calling my name probably because I have been watching the new season of Bridgerton and I am loving the costumes and makeup, esp Penelope's gowns and her makeup are making me swoon. I wear Love of My Life (it's a staple in my collection) and Velvet Beauty very often in spring and summer. Night Thoughts is probably my fave winter shade ever, which surprised me. I am currently also frequently wearing Charlotte Tilbury''s new pinks (they're actually pink and not orange!), Candy Chic and Icon Baby, but as I have said, I have not been a huge fan of CT's previous colors because they go orange on me. I don't think you NEED CT's, though if you have an extensive LE collection.
I decided to skip the new pinks from CT because of my extensive LE collection. I feel like many of her previous lipsticks pull warmer on me than they look in the bullet. That's ok, because I can wear nearly any shade. I just don't prefer peach tones. I really love how bright Pompadour looks. It's such a statement lip without being too much. I also really enjoy Rose Official. It's super easy to wear, and that's why I love the Lucent formula so much. Thanks so much for watching today.
New Wave is one of my absolute favorite lipsticks, ever. I wear it as a blush, too, and it looks so fresh and pretty. I'm so jealous you have Go Lightly. 😊 And can I just say, every single color looks fabulous on you!
Thanks so much. My neutral skin tone comes in handy when picking lipstick shades. Most everything works on me. I realized while editing that I should've use more neutral eyeshadows, but . . . I was having fun in this cool eyeshadow look from the LE Vega palette earlier in the day. I didn't want to take it off just to put something more neutral on. I wish Go Lightly got more use in my collection. It's just not a shade that I prefer, so it sits lonely in my collection most days. I will occasionally wear it, but very occasionally.
You’re missing decade. I would compare it to a velvet version of painterly. Kind of a chameleon shade. One of my favorites for fall winter. I’m fair with warm undertones and it still looks good on me for a bold lip. It looks scary for us light skin folks but I love it.
I might have to pick it up. I recently picked up Carnival and a new bullet of Ribbon during the Spack NK 20% off sale. It's a great way to get these lovely lipsticks on a discount. I'll keep an eye out for their next sale, and perhaps pick up Decade. Thanks!
Thank you Rebecca! I’m so glad to see an updated version of the LE lip swatch videos. LE lipsticks are my favorite. I would love to have a collection like yours ❤ Velvet Pompadour is my favorite pink. But Velvet Enchantment is my favorite LE lipstick so far.
I love my LE lipsticks; love Sunday matinee, my face just comes alive when I put this on my favourite is Velvet Muse, it's the perfect nude for me. I've been wearing Mac Mehr for years, once it's used to, I'll get it replaced with a LE version I think
I'm not familiar with many MAC shades, as I'm not a MAC girlie. I am a Lisa Eldridge lipstick devotee. I prefer her shades and formulas. They work so well for me. Thanks for watching today. I feel like it's always worth investing in a LE lipstick.
I'm going to see Dita Von Teese and I'm strongly considering Velvet Carnival! I just love punchy lips. I'm a neutral-warm olive and I just don't like reds on me. But I worry Carnival would be too much, but it's Dita! I still love the Go Lightly lipstick!! The formula is a bit patchy but I just love the neon. Perfect for hot, summer day. For me, Dance Card is too muted and I'm sad Go Lightly is just the gloss.
I really like Velvet Carnival. I wore it all day yesterday, and it looked amazing. I don't know how it would suit you, but I love that Lisa has such a wide range of skin tones wearing every shade on her website. That's always helpful for me to see how well her shades work on a multitude of skin tones. Have fun seeing Dita Von Teese!
What a roundup! LE is so good. I got Rose Official not too long ago and love it, especially with the Vega palette. It’s probably my favorite pink, since I generally don’t wear much pink. I have blush lightly and muse, have not worn them in a while, will need to re-discover them!
I was wearing the Vega palette in this video, and I think I might have reached for too much silver. It was a bit much to seamlessly blend with every lipstick. That's ok, I had fun. Rose Official is such a great color and works with so much. I love having it at the ready when I need a not to pink pink.
Thank you so much for this video! I am curious about the difference between rose official and velvet beauty, it looks like rose official is a sheer velvet beauty, is this true? Can’t decide between the two! :)
They're not exactly the same, but I feel like Velvet Beauty is just a smidge cooler in tone. It might be because Rose official is so much sheerer that more of my natural lip color comes through and affects the overall look. I love the ease of application with the Lucent formula, but if you're looking for pigment and a matte finish, you'll love the Velvets.
IMO you suit Rainbow Spill. For me, I have cool coloring and I suit Skyscraper Rose and Love Of My Life. I'd love to try Rose Official but I'm trying to get my stash down.
I LOVE Rainbow Spill, but it's too much with the eyeshadow I was wearing while filming this. I normally wear it with minimal makeup, and really lean into a fresh face, sculpted but light brows and radiant cheeks. I think these lipsticks are just incredible. You'd love Rose Official if you're liking cooler tones, but don't overspend.
I also have a collection but not as large as yours. I am experimenting to get a pink that does not go too warm on me. It is a huge problem with lipsticks. I do best with brownie pinks. Just got the gloss in Beauty and it is as good a gloss as I've ever had between the color not going orange and the wonderful LE texture. Also got Bloom and I'm still trying it out. Pompadour was disappointing. I am fair but not as fair as you, usually wear a light or ivory foundation.
I'm sorry you didn't like Pompadour. It's a shade that I thought would work for most people. If you like brown leaning pinks you'd enjoy Painterly, Velvet Muse, Blush Lightly if you don't already have them. Thanks for watching today.
I never liked pink lipstick in years past, but found that these shades that Lisa makes work for me. I'm finally wearing all sorts of pink lipstick. Who knew?!
Today I was wearing Sunday Matinee. I love the formula from the insanely saturated lipsticks. But I only have Sunday Matinee and New wave. I am tempted to pick up strawberry shock, even I am not that much of a red lipstick kind a girl. Bright fuchsia or neon shades are to bold for me. I love rose official it reminds me of my first "lipstick love" and that was Mac syrup.
Strawberry shock is very bright. It's a super pigmented, bold pink leaning red. If you're worried about something being too much, I'd skip Strawberry Shock. I need to wear New Wave more. I love how it looks, and I love creating an entire look around it. Thanks for watching!
Great shades! I need to pull out my HOS lipsticks this summer. I have some lovely bright red shades, and I will reach for the balm shades a lot during the warmer months. Blush Lightly is such a great shade, and I really enjoy it!
Love this, im not into pinks but some I have 😅 so looking forward to the rest of the series 😊 painterly is my all time favorite, just not for this season now..
I love Painterly. I pull it out year round. It's one of the rare shades from this brand that I wear in every season. I'm usually trying to match my makeup look, but Painterly ends up in my purse and goes with so many looks. It's even great on a no-makeup day. I suppose if I'm wearing lipstick, it's not a no-makeup day, but you get it. Right? :)
I am such a fan of pink, lipsticks, and this line of Lisa’s really looks like there are some beautiful shades that are right up my alley. I know you like the merit matte formula, but don’t recall if you got the color Sunday? That is actually my favorite pink ever- such a beautiful shade
I don't have Merit's Sunday. I have Classic, and it's not nearly as pink. I love these ones from Lisa so much, I normally skip pink lipsticks from other brands. There have been so many times that I get a pink from a different brand and there's a 50/50 chance it's going to look crazy on me. So now I stick with LE pinks.
I have all the shared too, and do love classic. I wore it yesterday lol! I also just ordered rhe halting glasting balm in hippie berry and it arrives tomorrow ❤❤❤❤
I hope you like the Glasting Melting Balm in Hippie Berry. It's more of a red and less berry when I wear it. I really love the formula. If you like a mauve shade, check out Kaya Fig.
@@thelipstickgal I actually got it because insanity leaves more red in your try on,😂I’m just hoping it is not the typical melty balm sticks like tarte, etc…. It seems a bit different than that, and the color really looked pretty. We shall see today, and then maybe I’ll order more colors. Romands Amazon pricing is amazing, too. ♥️
I had a natural disaster happen (giant tree/windstorm) and it thankfully stopped before taking out me, but all of my makeup was destroyed. I had an extensive Lisa Eldridge collection and am deciding which shades I want to replace so your video was very timely. This confirms that I’m eager to have them all back. BTW Dance card is so easy to wear and does not pull too peach or warm. It falls in her chameleon category. I can’t wait to see the reds video! My favorite pink/maune right now is Gucci Satin Mary Mauve. My favorite LE is probably Velvet Beauty but I also like LE Velveteen in Muse. I really like that the Velveteens pull more pink. 💄💄💄
I'm so sorry that you lost your makeup. What a shame! I would be devastated. I'm glad that you're ok. I've had so many people recommend Dance Card and Rosy Shell to me that I might have to pick them up with my next order. I like the idea of a chameleon shade in a peach tone. I'm in love with Je Ne Sais Quoi, and that's a peach shade, but it's so flattering on me! I'm planning on recording the reds next! Thanks so much for watching today.
I have never worn pink lipstick before until LE came into my knowledge via UA-cam influencer Bekah Sun last year. The shade Velvet Morning was stunning on her! I immediately purchased that shade plus Wonder Wheel and Skyscraper Rose…my love for LE began especially the pinks’. Your video was so timely as I was thinking which LE lipstick to buy next…Carnival, Rainbow Spill or New Wave? The struggle is real!😂 All LE shades looked fabulous on you! What is your lip care regimen? How to plump and minimize lip lines without cosmetic procedures? Thank you!
My lips are loosing volume as I age. I don't do anything special, but my lips are never bare. I ALWAYS have either a lipstick, balm, gloss or lip oil on them. I even reapply in the middle of the night if I happen to wake up. That does a lot to keep my lips in good shape. I also exfoliate near the end of my shower with a wash cloth. I don't spend money on lip scrubs, I just rub a wet wash cloth over my damp lips and all the dead skin sloughs off. Right out of the shower, I put on a lip balm or lip mask. I'm NEVER without a hydrator for my lips.
I definitely love to mix my own shades LOL!!!! Mix liners with lipsticks I have lots of fav pinks does Bronx Baby count sometimes it looks pink lol it’s my fav fav!!! Lancome 257 Mon Macaroon L’Oreal Glow Paradise 200 130 colour rich 173 nude intense 601 worth it 635 worth it 800 fairest nude medium Valentino 100R if I’m feeling adventurous!!! 🤣🤣🤣 and usually mix them all with a nude lip liner like CT Iconic Nude to make them more neutral Supersize Me and Tarte Dusty Rose liners Natasha and 2.5 CT Pillow Talk in the slim tube the original I do t really like that much alone mixed together with medium they are pretty … thanks for all these!!! Dahlia Ravie Beauty I like neutrals best 🤣🤣🤣 yours are way too much color for me but they look great on you! My mom looks great in bright pinks it’s so weird cuz they look awful on me I give her all my ones I think she would like
I do love a bright lipstick! You mentioned so many lovely shades of pink. I love to cocktail lipsticks together to create something different, but I tend to wear the LE shades straight from the bullet. I sometimes reach for a lip liner, but I don't feel like they require it.
I loooove Lisa Eldridge lipsticks and have so many in my collection, but I never picked up an insanely saturated shade. I need one! I’ve been tempted by Skyscraper Rose for the longest…
My favorite and the one I had to recently repurchase is Velvet Ribbon. It's my perfect red. I do love Painterly, Skyscraper rose, and Velvet Bloom. There are so many lovely shades to choose from the brand. I love them all!
Speaking of pink lol I found the perfect pink for me … oh snap lip liner colourpop do u know of any liners that set down and last longer or nude pink lipstick shades that color thanks it’s Mac looks so pretty with it but it like a gloss almost no pigment … I swatched my entire ULTA store last week and could not find a nude pink how’s that possible???!! Lol I think they finally got the Mac display put in I’m gonna go back this week 🤣🤣🤣 I wish Lisa had this shade love her formulas the colors just don’t suit me 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍 hope u have a great week
Have you tried the About Face lip liners? They set down, and the shade Little Little might be what you're looking for. It's a lovely pink liner that has neutral lip vibes. It's definitely a pink and not a brown. Check your Ulta to see if they carry About Face in store so you can swatch it. I also love the Essance and LA Girl Shockwave lip liners. More affordable, and most Ulta's have a display of both.
I love Lisa’s lipsticks! The velvets inparticular, I have 5: Muse, Enchantment, Rain, Blush Lightly (love them all!) & my oldest, Morning (which is too bright for my current taste) but have yet to find a shade of lucent I love. So far I have Atomic Cherry (too bright and patchy) and Kitten Mischief (too peachy) but I’m eyeing Rose Official and Painterly. Thank you for doing these round up swatch videos!!
I love a bright shade, so Morning is one of my most used lippies from LE. I just had to replace Ribbon because I was nearly out! I'm not a fan of Atomic Cherry because it's too coral. (almost electric coral on me) I enjoy Rose Official and Painterly. They're amazing shades, and work so well with many different looks. Thanks so much for watching today!
@@thelipstickgal I used to be really into bright shades, the brighter the better! If you haven’t tried the Shiseido ModernMatte range, I highly recommend! Night Life was my favourite bright red. This past year I have gravitated towards more muted shades. Still a statement lip on me but more harmonious with my colouring.
Ooh, I'm so intrigued. I picked up 2 Shiseido lipsticks earlier this year, and I really loved them. They're a gel formula that glides and is so creamy, but dries down to a more longwearing formula. They're not drying, but I've been curious what else I should try from the brand. I've only tried foundation and skincare from Shiseido. Time to check out other types of products. Thanks for the lipstick recommendation. I'm going to google it right now!
@@thelipstickgal Happy to help fuel the curiousty :) Like you, lipsticks are my favourite! I more or less only wear mineral foundation and lipstick. I’ve only tried the ModernMatte and the TechnoSatin ones (I’m hypersensitive so I have to pay close attention to ingredients). Out of the two the matte is my favourite. Both are highly pigmented and the satin is too messy for my liking. The matte is thinner in formula than Lisas velvets but comfortable (although that’s very subjective, I always wear a balm underneath everything anyway). And they are also fragrance free! A must for me, so few lip products are.
The only LE lipsticks I own now are her other formulas, the mattes (not only her’s, all mattes) just dry out my lips and the center of my lips does not stay on. I gave all my mattes to my sister, I did keep Red Dragon cause of how pretty it is but the name too. Weird me😂. You can wear any shade, they all looked pretty on you.
Thanks so much. I am fortunate to have a neutral skin tone, so I can wear almost any shade. There are some that I don't prefer on me, but . . . I'm sorry that the bullet lipsticks don't work for you. They're my favorites and I reach for them all the time.
@@thelipstickgal I do still have 7 of her lipsticks. 1 Insanely Saturated and 6 of her Luxuriously Lucent, now those I love, can’t wait for her to release more of those formulas.
New Wave is a fun party in lipstick form! I feel that way about Skyscraper Rose and Rainbow Spill as well. Velvet Rain is such a pretty, wearable shade. It's read leaning, but really has more of a warm pink lean. I love it!
Oh my gawd this was fantastic! Sigh, so many many shades to choose from, I mean, how can one really choose? My fav pink is Merit's Millennial, but from LE is Love of My Life - its so subtle and even topped with Birdsong gloss, just delightful. My fav of hers, Velvet Jazz. On light or full force...it's the best. Thank you for trying all those on! @LisaEldridge would be tickled pink ;)
I love Lisa's formulas so much, I have nearly all of them. My next installment in will be the reds. I love the Merit formula so much, but I don't have Millennial. I should make sure to swatch it next time I'm in sephora. I have 5 of the Satins and 5 of the Mattes. I would love more colors from Merit. Such a great formula Thanks so much for watching. I love using Love of My Life as cream blush when I'm in a hurry and I'm wearing it on my lips. It's such a great formula for the cheeks too. I do that with many of the Lucent formula.
I've only had 1 lipstick from the brand break on me, and it's the one I've had the longest. The break happened earlier this year, and the lipstick is from 2018. It was time for it to go. I just repurchased the shade as it's my favorite. Velvet Ribbon. I have lots of other luxe lipsticks, but I love the feel and shades of her formulas. Thanks for watching.
@@thelipstickgal thank you for the information! I want the bullet lipstick though Lisa 😏 One of your comments mentioned that she received some negative reviews on it which is why it isn’t available any longer and that she turned it into one of her other shades Dance Card (which I own)
Well . . . I know it doesn't make sense to create a shade that won't sell. I think I'm staying away from Dance Card because it looks similar to Go Lightly, and I almost never reach for it. Maybe it's a modern shade that will look better on my skin tone.
My most used shade in this round up of lipsticks is Painterly, followed closely by Muse. They're more subtle shades. Of the bright shades, I LOVE Skyscraper Rose, Rainbow Spill and New Wave. They're such different shades, and I always wear them full pigment with minimal makeup.
I hated every “pink” lipstick I ever tried to wear before LE lipsticks , all I ever liked on me were nudes/nuetrals, reds/corals and berries/burgundies, now I own 4 pinks ( dance card, petal, kitten mischief ( pulls pink on me ), and rain ) rain is my favorite 😆,
I thought Go Lightly and Dance Card were related. I know that Go Lightly was a exact copy of a shade of vintage lipstick Audrey Hepburn wore all the time (especially in the movie Breakfast at Tiffany's) It's not a color Lisa formulated, but a replication. I do enjoy having it, but I don't wear it that often. It's a rare day that I reach for Go Lightly.
As a fellow olive, pinks have always been iffy on me. A couple months ago I tried the RMS blush “French Rose” and it blew my mind. (I hope you get to try it.) Now I’m looking for a good “office” pink to match!

I just bought Beauty & Rain as an early birthday gift to myself today. My first ever LE pinks. Yay! 💕
I hope you enjoy them! They're lovely shades. Thanks for watching.
Great choices.

Thank you for explaining the colors because in every video it looks different... it is very helpful thank you very much!!
I'm so glad you found it helpful. If you ever have any questions, I'm please let me know. That's what I'm here for.
Thanks for watching. Pompadour and Enchantment are such lovely colors. I really love Lisa's bullet lipstick formulas! They're my favorite.
Fab fab video. Will go back to it before I purchase another LE lipstick. Thank you.
My fav handbag pink is Rose official.
Rose official is a lovely shade and so easy to wear. Thanks for watching.
I have one LE lipstick, velvet enchantment. I love it and planning to get more. Thanks for this helpful video!
I hope you enjoy what ever you pick up next.
@@thelipstickgal ahh thank you so much!! This is so helpful! I am hoping rose official is MLBB shade! Have been looking forever! May give it a try!!
I am not a pinky gal. My light/ neutral undertones and pink don't play well together!🎉🎉ty for all the great lipstick swatches and colors!❤❤❤
Favorite pink: HOS Nude Siren
Favorite LE: Velvet Blush Lightly
Great shades! I need to pull out my HOS lipsticks this summer. I have some lovely bright red shades, and I will reach for the balm shades a lot during the warmer months. Blush Lightly is such a great shade, and I really enjoy it!
No I haven’t They do have a display I’ll check them out thank you!!!!
Always happy to make a recommendation.
@@QuinceyG Melting is in the name, so . . . It's not as melty as the Candy Glaze, but it's still fairly glossy. Especially as the weather warms up.
The struggle is real!😂
All LE shades looked fabulous on you!
🤣🤣🤣 and usually mix them all with a nude lip liner like CT Iconic Nude to make them more neutral
Supersize Me and Tarte Dusty Rose liners Natasha and 2.5
CT Pillow Talk in the slim tube the original I do t really like that much alone mixed together with medium they are pretty … thanks for all these!!!
Dahlia Ravie Beauty
I like neutrals best 🤣🤣🤣 yours are way too much color for me but they look great on you!
Oh! And my favorite…that’s like picking a favorite child! Painterly is probably my most used, but Velvet Bloom is the one that makes my heart sing. ❤
New Wave is a fun party in a lipstick🎉
And Velvet Rain looks like a cool red for somebody quite shy like me. I did not even know about it. I need to have a look at this one. Thank you
New Wave is a fun party in lipstick form!
Such a great formula
Thanks so much for watching. I love using Love of My Life as cream blush when I'm in a hurry and I'm wearing it on my lips. It's such a great formula for the cheeks too. I do that with many of the Lucent formula.
I binned alot of LE coz ether they broke or the formula just wasn't up to my CD. Yes, I'm spoilt 😊
Ohhhh I REALLY want Go Lightly! 😢
It's available as an Gloss Embrace, but it's not available for purchase as a bullet lipstick.
What’s your favorite one?
My most used shade in this round up of lipsticks is Painterly, followed closely by Muse. They're more subtle shades. Of the bright shades, I LOVE Skyscraper Rose, Rainbow Spill and New Wave. They're such different shades, and I always wear them full pigment with minimal makeup.
I hated every “pink” lipstick I ever tried to wear before LE lipsticks , all I ever liked on me were nudes/nuetrals, reds/corals and berries/burgundies, now I own 4 pinks ( dance card, petal, kitten mischief ( pulls pink on me ), and rain ) rain is my favorite 😆,
I love velvet rain. it's such a great color. I love the way that Lisa creates wearable pinks.
Lisa decided to let go of Go Lightly because of bad reviews. She improved it and called it Dance Card.
@@thelipstickgal Same. The colour is right but not the formulation.
