Chapstick. I always have some. I just finished my Pat McGrath Divinyl in Nude Venus... she lived and died in my purse. LE lux lucent, Love of my Life, Wonder Wheel or Palazzo have all lived comfortably in the side pocket of my purse. They're easy, and they feel fantastic! I have Painterly on right now.

Yes, "lived and died in my purse" made me laugh out loud! I love the ease of the Lucent formula from LE. They're the perfect just a little bit, but not too much lipstick formula. Painterly almost made it into this video, but I decided to only pick one of Lisa's lippies. I love Love of My Life, Wonder Wheel, Palazzo, Painterly and Meet Me In Berlin. Those are some of my most used Lucents. Thanks so much for watching today, and I might have to reach for Painterly later on today when I need a touch up.
Oh yay! Yes I def have combo normal oily nose and chin mostly it’s gotten way better with Tretnoin but still needs mattifying powder thanks!!! The Kosas is so moisturizing I had super dry cracked lips with peelies and it moisturized them off!!! In an instant I love it I use that DE everyday if I don’t have a color on it’s so good! I’m on my 3rd one I believe it’s supposed to make your lips darker from the peptides Bronx baby is the perfect rosewood sometimes it looks more warm others it looks pinky it’s so weird but I love it I think it would be so pretty on u and my fav formula! 🤍🤍🤍

I have a whole face bag with me at all times if I go out of the house powder blush foundation lips liners never know what u will need definitely searching still for a great nose powder 🤣🤣🤣 in love with the MISSHA I saw Jen Phelps share a different one with a shade 17! I didn't know Missha made a shad 17. I'm on the hunt now! I've never tried the Drunk Elephant Lippie Balm. I keep meaning to, but always forget. I love the Clarins Lip Oils and the Candy Glaze. I have yet to try the CT Superstar lips and the Kosas.
I love a lipstick that changes everything. I'm going to have to swatch Bronx Baby next time I'm in Sephora. Sounds like a beautiful shade. Thanks so much for watching. BTW, if you have combo skin, and your nose gets oily, I like the L'Oreal Infallible pressed powder foundation for a nose touch up powder. Lots of shades, and it's just enough to dial down the glow without looking heavy. I also like that it's more affordable than the new Natasha Denona powder foundation I've been enjoying.
Very interesting even though I have a completely different concept 😂 I always take the lipstick with me that I put on in the morning.. if I really used a very high maintenance lipstick I either take everything I need for this with me or a more easy one in the same colour.. but I guess I’m strange anyway because I also change my purse more or less every day 😅
I get very shiny and have acne so need to have some things with me but I always have a lip product!!
I also take my lipstick and lip liner with me but always have a lip oil or tinted lip balm in case I get lazy and just want a quick application.

I would love to switch my purse out more often. I have so many handbags, but get stuck in a rut using the same bag for months at a time. Right now I've been using my red Dooney & Bourke Florentine Satchel since I ordered it for myself in January. (a birthday gift for myself) It's SO big that I loose track of what lipsticks have gone in. I just tipped the contents out on my bed earlier this week to look for my Prada lipstick. Many of the lippies went back on my vanity, but I applied the Prada, and it went straight back into my bag.
I used to care touch up makeup with me all the time, but I stopped doing that in 2020. I should get back into that. I have four lip products living in my purse: Merit "Millenial", YSL Candy Glow Tinted Butter Balm "Lavalliere", NARS Afterglow Tinted Lip Balm "Dolce Vita", and Quo Glowy Lip Balm "Punch" (Canadian brand). I rarely carry other make up products in my purse.
I carry a powder compact during the summer, and I always have tons of lippies in my purse. I tend to thrown them in, and they live there until a few weeks later and I have to fish them all out and start again. I love the Merit Satin formula. Baby and 1990 are my go to shades. I should try Millennial. I have the old YSL Rouge Volupte Shine in Lavalliere and I love it. I haven't reached for it yet this year, but it's a regular purse fave for summer. I'm going to wait to pick it up in the Love shine until I've finished the old tube. I have the Nars Afterglow in Laguna, and I really like it. One of these days, when I manage to cross the boarder into Canada, I'll have to stop by a beauty retailer or drugstore and see where there is that we don't' have here in the US. I keep a makeup case in my purse with pressed powder, blotting papers (oily girl), Armani lip power matte in 112 Stylish (love), Prada Hyper Matte in B02 Quartz and Soft Matte in B103 Auburn. I should have an Addiction Tokyo Matte Lip Liquid in there, but I forgot it when I was packing for my stepson's graduation. I will definitely remember it this week when I pack for my stepdaughter's graduation.
Ooh, I love that you carry a small makeup case with you. I used to do that too, but I stopped in 2020 because I never left the house. I should get back into carrying around a few essentials with me. Thanks! I was trying to create a look that's close to my "daily" non-filming look and one that would compliment many of the lip shades I picked. I have both the matte and glossy lip balm from NARS in my purse currently. I like them, and they're some of the others that live in my purse that will go with anything. I couldn't list every single "purse lipstick" in this video, so I excluded some, but I do love the NARS lip balms.

I just returned from 2 weeks touring Australia and New Zealand. My usual lippies in my purse are Cle De Peau, Lisa Eldridge or Hermes. I didn’t bring them because losing any would make me mad(at myself)! Instead, I brought Tatcha Hydtating Lip Screen in the shade “Camellia” which provided sun protection SPF of 25. I also had with me the Romand Glasting Melting Balm in the shade “Kaya Fig” which is only $8. Both are a hint darker than my natural lip color of mauve pink. They’re easy to apply, kept my lips hydrated, wore well until I ate a meal and I didn’t lose either one traveling!

I love the shade Kaya Fig. It's such a pretty, easy formula and color to wear. I always carefully decide what I'm going to bring when I travel because I never want to lose anything, but I still want my options.

My favorite purse lipsticks are the 2 Lisa Eldridge ones you don’t own, Rosy She’ll and Dance Card. Love that formula! Need more!
I also enjoy MAC’s Creme Cup and a few nudes pink shades from Urban Decay.
Maybe I should try the ones I don't have from Lisa Eldridge. I normally don't reach for light peach shades like Dance Card and Rosy Shell seems a little to much of a bright pink. I wish there was a way to swatch them before purchasing them.

I no longer carry lipsticks in my bag, especially in the summer when they can break from the heat. I'm all about squeezy tinted lip balms these days. I love Naturium's Latte, Lanolips Perfect Nude, and I recently shopped my stash and found the Colourpop squeezy balms in strawberry and raspberry. They're discontinued but mine are still good. They're now in my bag!
I love the Naturium lip balm in mocha. I always have a squeeze tube of something in my purse. I'm pretty careful with lipsticks during the summer, but I still take them with me. 🤷♀️
As far as the one make-up time I bring with me everyday -LIPS, MANY LIPS😂😂😂. I do my other make-up in the noting, and the onto thing I bring are my lip products, and I have a shall bag of a few options as I change throughout the day.😂😂😂. I am intrigued by the Armani Power as I think I’ll adore that applicator. I need to try that berry shade in the Romand, as so far only have tried the juicy and water tints. 😊
I love the Armani because I don't need a lip liner, and it doesn't go outside my vermillion border. I have it in a bright red too, and neither of the shades I have travel on my face. I like the Glasting Melting Balms from Ro&and, but they're much thicker than most lip products. About the same thickness as the YSL Candy Glaze, but perhpas even a bit thicker.

I love this idea! Thanks for filming. I’m laughing because I have so many of the ones you listed based on your past recommendations! Would love an updated video for fall. For me I always have a clear (with spf) and a tinted balm, but usually inexpensive ones I don’t worry about. Then I will add in whatever I’ve purposely worn that day when heading out. Also a comb and pressed powder (currrently No.7) to get put together quickly.

It is definitely my candy / toy store … I could spend hours (I usually do 🤣) swatching everything I love the big Sephora they carry Dior and YSL and Pat McGrath and all the things they do t have in my kohls Sephora lol which I am super thankful for my Ulta is putting in a huge MAC Isle like their is one down the all in belk and Estée Lauder they just added in both stores they rarely have new releases… struggles 🤣🤣🤣🙄🙄🙄
My "local" Sephora carries YSL and Dior, but not the full line. Same with Armani. I wish they did. They also only carry select Natasha Denona products. There's no Gucci , Tom Ford or Pat McGrath in store. 😥 Living in a rural area has it's draw backs. My local store is also 70 minutes away. It's better than nothing, but most of my shopping is done online.
Im a goth girl, so i tend to keep alot of dark or bold shades in my bag. Probably the most nude shade I've been wearing lately is Charlotte tilbury Very Victoria. Other than that it's alot of reds, burgundy, and of course black. Chanel pirate, lisa eldridge velvet jazz, mac Russian red, gucci crystal black, Mac diva, charlotte tilbury red carpet red, revlon black cherry. Balm im currently using is the mini Vaseline tubs in shea butter, i still prefer good old carmex though 😊
I have so many memories from my younger years with a carmex jar! You just unlocked an entire vault of memories by mentioning carmex. Wow! The smell is so nostalgic.
I love a bold red! I even like a deeper burgundy, but I've never been comfortable wearing black. I've done it before, but I'm more of a golden age of Hollywood lipstick kind of girl. I love that there are so many shades of lipstick available to us so we can empower ourselves with our favorite shades.

I love balms!!!! I need a neutral pinky one I’ve tried soooooooo many… I’m gonna have to go to the big city Sephora and Ulta 🤣🤣🤣 maybe they have the YSL’s in store to try… I love them so much I just can’t order the right shade I never knew how hard it was to find a neutral pink lip shade I do love the MAC in Thanks It’s MAC neutral peachy deliciousness 🍑 Colourpop lip liner in Oh Snap is perfect I wish I could find a long lasting one in this shade

I wish I was good at taking lipsticks out of my purse. Because they collect un my purse, I have some I leave at my vanity and others I keep on my purse. I will occasionally take a specific color with me, but then I forget that I left it in my purse the next time I'm looking for it. That drives me crazy sometimes.
I’m so glad that you appeared on my feed today! I always carry a lip product or ten. Often a liner (at the age where I need one) lipstick, gloss and balm. The Makeup by Mario Moisture Glow in pretty much any shade lives in my purse, a Rhode balm and the others change based on what I’m wearing. I noticed you didn’t have any Mario products on your list. I just bought a few of his newer lipsticks at the Sephora sale and I can’t decide if they were overhyped, but I love the color range!
I have one of the new Makeup by Mario Satin Lipsticks in the shade 917, and I really like it. I haven't been a fan of many of his other lip products, so I frequently forget how good the satin lipstick it. At that $26 price point, I think the only other lipstick that's as comfortable and wears as well at Sephora are the ones from Merit and Rare Beauty. (Rare is less than that $26 price point, but Merit is the same price)
I love that MbM is giving us magnetic packaging as well as a substantial amount of shades with this satin launch. I wish Merit had more than 8 shades in the Satin/Cream formula and the same for Rare Beauty. I also feel like many of the ones from Rare and Merit are very warm leaning. I would love more neutral and cool toned shades.

I always have my City Lips gloss in my bag! I have 3-4 different shades now, and they have the best lasting power!
I love how long the City Lips formula stays on my lips. I have been using mine as a lip sleeping mask because it lasts all night. I never see any plumping from it, but I love how hydrated my lips feel after wearing it.
I use my clear at night, too, followed by the City Beauty lip oil. It's the best combo for hydration I've ever found. The CB Sun Diego gloss lives in my purse, next to Coola SPF balm and the Milani Fruit Fetish.
You've got some great purse lipsticks. I like the City Beauty lipgloss, but I'm not sure I'm going to purchase it again. the $30 price point is a bit much for a night time product for me. I still love my Glossier Balm Dotcom and it's only $14. Even the Laniege Lip Sleeping Mask is less expensive than the CB lip glosses. I wish the price wasn't as high.

Gucci Voile is one of my favorite formulas of all time!! I just got it in Goldie red during the Sephora sale and it’s my perfect coral red for summer ❤️
Every time I try to pick up the Goldie Red during a sale, it's sold out. I have Odalie Red in the Satin formula and I love it, but I'd like another Voile lipstick. Such a good formula, and the packaging is stunning.
I always have Tarte Juicy lipgloss and lipsticks in my handbag. I also have a half a dozen just glosses and balms in the bottom. When I changed my purse last time there were like 12 in the bottom! I like something easy as well. No mirror is a must. I have Black Honey in my bag right now! No PH adjusters for me either. I was gifted Tom Ford Phantom 20 gloss luxe for my honest review. . It is going in my handbag. It is sheer. It isn't sticky at all. I really like it. I have only had it for 2 weeks so we shall see if it stands the test of time. I always have a lip product and powder. I used to keep an entire bag full of essentials in my purse, but since 2020, I stopped carrying it. I stopped leaving the house, so I took out the makeup. I'm glad to find a lipstick in the bottom of my bag these days. Have a wonderful weekend.

I am in the process of building of my lip collection. At first I wanted to get long wearing. But then I was like it’s not easy to take those with you. So I decided to go with more glosses of creamy lipsticks that are easy to apply on the go with no fuss.
I like to have a mixture of both types, but every one I have must be comfortable. I want the matte formulas to feel good on my lips as they stay put for a long portion of the day. I know there is a place for a sturdy, longwear formula but I tend to opt for more satin and creme lipsticks these days. Thanks so much for watching.
Such a fun video idea! I always have around ten lip products in my purse and I have a Charlotte Tilbury Pillowtalk lipliner that lives in my purse. It’s mostly things that don’t need a mirror to apply. Mostly peachy or pinky nudes that aren’t too brown. Chanel Coco Bloom in Chance, Charlotte Tilbury In Love with Olivia, Pat McGrath satin lipstick in Venusian Peach, YSL Rouge Volupte in Nude Lingerie and Laura Mercier satin lipstick in Corail Clair are pretty much always in there. In the Fall I add a more pumpkin type shade like Charlotte Tilbury Mrs. Kisses or Stoned Rose. Loved hearing about your favorites!❤

My purse can at time function like a black hole. Lipsticks go in and get lost. I have to do a clean sweep of my purse at least once a month, or I forget how many I've dropped into my purse. (my purse is huge, and I'm bad about keeping it organized)

I recently discovered clear lip liners. I like using them with glosses. I wonder why I've never heard anyone talking about them.
I used to use clear liners a long time ago. About 15+ years ago. I didn't know that brands were still making them. I thought they were a trend that had fallen out of fashion. They're great for a gloss or very shiny lipstick. I might have to look for one next time I'm at the drugstore. I didn't find a huge difference between the bargain brands and the highend brands when it came to clear liners.

Wait! There's a Clarins Lip Oil Intense? (searching for it right now) I've seen the shimmer lip oils in the square packaging, but didn't know there was an intense version. I LOVE the one I have in Chocolate, and I nearly finished one last summer. I love products like that. A true lip oil and so nourishing on the lips.

Love love your lipstick videos. I was bad last night, saw Heba’s review right before midnight on the Kiko Bridgerton collection, I love series in that era and season 3 came out. Well I ordered 2 lipsticks and an eye shadow pallet. The lippies are sold out on their website but Nordstrom is selling that collection, that’s where I got mine. Did I need new lipsticks, no or an eyeshadow quad no😂😂. So happy to hear Glossier listened and are bringing back the original formula, I still have one left, the one you showed, now I can use it.❤
I love that Glossier brought back their original formula. I stocked up this past holiday with Cookie Butter and Hot Cocoa because I was thinking they wouldn't be around for long. When they dropped Strawberry in the OG formula, I was delighted and picked up 2. I'm up to my eyeballs in this balm formula, but I'm not going to have to hoard it anymore. I can freely share a tube with a friend or family member because I know I can go and get another one when I want to.
I have only seen photos of the Kiko x Brigerton collection. I didn't know that the first half of season 3 dropped already. I know what I'm doing this weekend! I might have to head to nordstrom to see if I "need" anything. Thanks for watching today Bea.

I love seeing your recommendations! I agree about Lisa Eldridge lippies. They are so goooood. My fave is Palazzo. She lives in my purse, and depending on the season or look I want, Spirited Away and Painterly join her. I also love Charlotte Tulbury's Super Star formula in Walk of No Shame. Such a pretty, easy "cherry coke lips" shade.
Lisa makes my favorite bullet lipstick formulas. I love all 3 of her formulas, and there's always a one or more in my handbag. Palazzo is such a great red, and I use it a lot during the summer months. It's such a stunning shade of red, and isn't too much. I also love that it's a low maintenance red. I haven't tried the CT Super Star formula. People keep mentioning that formula to me, so I'll have to pick one up. I love a cherry coke lip shade. Thanks for watching.

Thanks. They're 10K paperclip hoops that I dangle things from or wear on their own. I got the Soda Pop Tab and the key from Studio Cult. The key comes on a silver hoop that looks like a split key ring, but I wanted an all gold look today. The Soda tab is actually a huggie closure, but I decided to dangle it today. They have some fun and quirky jewelry. The earrings are sold as singles, so I have a silver and a gold soda tab, and two kearrings (key earrings) When I'm feeling particularly Gen X, I'll pull out my mismatched earrings and a cut up t-shirt.
I love this video. You always do the best lip videos for all of us lipstick junkies ! I love the Merit and Lisa Eldridge lipsticks. I always seem to reach for them the most. I have a million balms and lip oils in my purse too. Anything to keep my lips moist. I also love the formula of Chanel rouge coco but sometimes don't love the smell. I have noticed the new ones are not as fragranced as the older lipsticks. I never understood why luxury brands think we want to taste perfume 😀
Right? I can stomach a vanilla or coconut, but perfumey florals are a non-starter.
Hi, I purchased the Romand lip balm to have it in my sport bag and although I like it, I prefer something thinner, it is very thick indeed but nourishing. I have it in nude colour. I still love my kitten mischief, so nice.
Yes, the Romand Glasting Melting Balm is very thick. I have Nougat Sand and I like it for an easy, everyday, low fuss lippie. I love Kitten Mischief so much. It's such a great "goes with everything" shade of lipstick.

The last time I tidied my handbag I had FOUR lipsticks and THREE balms. Honestly..... Am now down to two lipsticks (one goes with everything; the other is outfit specific and changes day to day) and one balm. Not sure how long that'll last.

I love that you change out your daily lipstick. I never can seem to do that. Mine collect in my purse until I can't find a specific one I want to wear, and I dump everything in my purse out on the bed to find the one I'm looking for. Sometimes my purse feels like a black hole. Things go in and never come out! : )
I need to be more disciplined! After watching your video, I am adding the Jones Road chapstick - and now that it is summer(almost), the Beauty Pie SPF lip balm. Maybe I'll take out the Summer Fridays balm. Or, get a bigger purse. @@thelipstickgal
@@lesliespencer7942 My current purse is so large. I could fit a 20 lb. dog in it and still have room for other things. I can fit 3 hardback books and my daily essentials in it. It's truly massive.
Just keep in mind that the JR lip balm is fairly stiff in texture. It feels a bit waxier than other lip balms, but once it's on, I love how it protects and nourishes my lips. I also love the sheer colors.
