@@MagicWorm321 basically I think gepetto made some adjustments so he would listen to his father like a "true good boy". Carlo isnt really in control and has nothing to do with the old human carlo, he is just a puppet in the shape of a human now, controlled by gepetto
You should do a video on Gemini if you haven't got plans for that! I know for most of the time, he's supposed to be the buddy character, a light-hearted break/guidance for the player, but a lot of his lines are very intriguing.
the story about the Wooden Puppet, I know the name Pinocchio is never said or mentioned. With the way Gemini explained it that everyone in Krat knows the tale but he can’t remember the name of the person who loved that story more than anyone else. Was it Geppetto??
Great Vid!!! I didn’t realize the necklace was a graduation item, interesting!! Loved chattin with ya about Carlo, wonderful vid!! 💯👏🏻 *New Detail I noticed on a new playthtough! It doesn’t change anything but when you FIRST wake on the train… The Nameless Puppets Case thing is sitting right on the floor next to us 😱🫣 It’s like Gappetto had JUST finished his nameless puppet masterpiece of creating a BIOMECHANICAL body and then took out his heart right then and there and place it into us, to make the heart stronger. But for some reason it seems he had to evacuate quickly because he locked his back room and fled without either of his puppets. And whoever was holding Gemini was attacked and killed (we find Gemini in a pool of blood) so theres also that whole mystery of the train attack too Perhaps that’s actually where Gappetto was heading when we found him, to Krat Station to retrieve the items he left behind??
That is one of my questions, too. At the beginning of the train, Gemini was placed on a bloody floor. Then, at the Black Sea, the legendary stalker said, “Gemini, get rid of them.” I feel like Gemini was a person/human instead of a monad lamp. I don't know it's confusing 😅
There is cross-over lore throughout the game; other examples being the Sherlock Holmes 221B door, and the Wizard of Oz (Dorothy, Paracelsus, etc.) game ending and intro to either the confirmed DLC and/or sequel (it is not clear yet whether the DLC or sequel will be about this, or both).
Nameless Puppet is Carlo’s physical, mutilated body. The player character has Carlo’s Ergo, contained in his P-Organ (heart), and therefore Carlo’s memories, which is why Gapetto wants it to complete Nameless Puppet as Carlo in both body and soul. However, Nameless Puppet is not free like you are, he has been modified to effectively be Gapetto’s “perfect” boy, that will do whatever he says and not be “rebellious” as Carlo is by his personality. You, as the player character, are the closest to the real Carlo; and, I would argue, are completely Carlo in the canonic Rise of P ending. Far more than Nameless Puppet would ever be due to Gapetto’s control.
@@Phizo. OK so you’re both Carlo but neither of you are the completed version of him one is Carlos body and the other one is Carlo in a new body but without his memories trapped inside of a p organ
@@mattmetawolf8634 Again, I would argue that you are completely Carlo in the Rise of P ending, the only thing you’re missing is his physical human body. You don’t really need that to be “you”. Even Nameless Puppet with your P-Organ isn’t exactly Carlo, which is evident by the ending when you give Gapetto the P-Organ. The real Carlo would never massacre everyone in Hotel Krat based on Gapetto’s order. That just illustrates Gapetto modifying Nameless Puppet’s with Laws of the Covenant to ensure complete control, which he did not put in the player character’s puppet. That is why you have free will and can lie. TL;DR: you are Carlo; Nameless Puppet arguably is not, regardless of whether he obtains Carlo’s memories with your P-Organ.
@@Phizo. yeah very true I guess basically Carlo‘s biological body doesn’t make him fully him but the very soul and the combination of his being does a.k.a. ergo but at the same time I like the idea that both of them are but none of them are especially in regards to the fact that they’re both being controlled and manipulated by their father regardless of the ending P the puppet and nameless puppet Carlo because they’re both pushed to be a resurrected form of the boy who unfortunately lost his life I think it’s best to say that it’s ironic how Geppetto wants his son back but then he wants to basically control the very nature of having a child But pretty much I do agree for the most part
Fairly certain Lampwick is the Donkey Stalker. In the original story Lampwick and Pinocchio go to Toy Island (Toy Island can be seen on one of the weapons) they live there long enough that both of them become donkeys. Pino later turns back but Lampwick stays the donkey for the rest of his life
You get his message from Venigni where he says "it's Romeo, Carlos best friend" and it's the message from the King of Puppets. Also mentioned in the Video.
@@mephilesthelight4644 I read your comment wrongly, my bad. I thought you say Romeo is the mad donkey, I don't know how I came to this conclusion. Must been high or something. I love the game too, only one trophy til platinum 🥳
@@mephilesthelight4644 In the original tale of "Pinocchio", Candlewick, Pinocchio's friend, is turned into a donkey and is sold into slavery and worked to death; showing an analogy between Romeo being forced to be king and evidently being killed by P. Hope this helps.
Is thr previous lore where moonstone and ergo are alien and from space still cannon? I was wondering with rhe manus fight introducing the idea of gods or god and divine beings.
I don't believe my original theory that I posted prior to launch is 100% canon, however, I plan to bring back that concept in a big way in the near future!
Hey Inhuman One. Can you do a video on Eugenie's real name? Haha. Thanks. Seems interesting since my conclusion from the notes is that it could be related to the Alchemists. Just couldn't come up with a complete answer. 😂

The evil ending always makes me shiver to see Carlo's smile covered in blood
I might just be dense, but I’ve never understood that ending. Like, did he kill for his own pleasure or his father’s? And then again, why?
