P holding the - Crystal of the Eternal Ergo? ⚡
⭐️Correct!
I'm 52 years old, but I still struggle my way through games like this. Took me dozens of attempts, for instance, to defeat the Nameless Puppet. The story of this game is so amazing that I sort of wish there was an easy mode for more people who are less skilled (or perhaps less stubborn) than myself to be able to experience it. I really love what the team has done here and can't wait to see where the story leads.
I’m pretty sure the boss, Victor, is meant represent Frankenstein as another UA-camr pointed out in a Lies of P video. Which makes sense. He’s got the relevant name as well as the look
You mean @kitetales
The potential of dlcs is huge with so many posible stories
Ngl lies of P is my game of the year
@k5klash594 I share your sentiments.
What if the Arm of god turns out to be Frankenstein's Monster's arm? It would make sense that since the Alchemists know so much about the Ergo that Krat wasn't their first experiment with it. What if Frankenstein was an Alchemist who was trying to use the Ergo to evolve someone a kind of perfect being that could become a god and his first experiments were done on corpses creating Frankenstein's Monster. That would mean that Gepetto was using Frankenstein's notes along side his own work with puppetry to bring his son back which is why the Nameless Puppet is a corpse with puppet parts. Because the Alchemists realized that a normal person being exposed to Ergo causes Petrification but a hybrid would be able to resist long enough to evolve. That would explain Lazasia, her armor i sbased on the puppets and held the Petrification at bay for long enough for her to turn into that. I'm just spit-balling here but it would be pretty cool.
If that ends up being the case, shut up and take my money!!! Seriously though, damn good theory
*Mind Blown* Damn, it could fit!
Good theory and I think you're unto something. I also agree that when you said Krat wasn't alchemists first experiment. Lies of P takes place in somewhere around 19th cenutry according the notes. I think the Paracelsus is indeed Theophrastus Philippus Aureolus Bombastus von Hohenheim and that would mean he have already achieved immortality through alchemy or some other methods hundreds of years ago, and are now keeping things at bay- or looking something extra through other methods of alchemy to reach something even bigger. I think it's the latter.
damn bro you should be a lore developer
That green glow in the second image may also be coming from the Emerald City. Perhaps Dorothy's quest takes us up north?
This is definitely one of the strongest theories I've seen so far given the limited information we have about the DLC.
One thing I'm curious about is the Golden Stargazer. I feel like the fact that interacting with it gives the response "You cannot use this yet" makes it a likely candidate for being part of the DLC. Before you interact with the stargazer, there is a golden bird sitting on top of it. I've tried looking up something about Golden Birds in relation to fairytales, and there is a story from the Brothers Grimm called "The Golden Brid".
That said, I didn't really see a whole lot of connection to that outside of the bird, so it very well may be a dead end. I also wonder if the graves that are right next to it bare any significance?
there is also a green stargazer before the malum district
Could be yellow, and not gold, for the obvious yellow brick road / Oz crossover we're aware of. Perhaps it will be DLC, or start off that way?
I can't get enough videos of yours, and there are so many things to cover still!
This probably means the true ending is the best ending for the original game, sense i don't see why geppetto would send his new-born son to more chaos when his last lines are about rebuilding krat for him. Maybe we can be hopeful that everyone did not die.
Literally. Perfect idea. Its gonna be sick!
I love this theory , if this ends up happening I would love the developers to create a soul-like storybook universe. One definitive dimension throughout the games.
Frankenstein’s monster and ergo makes perfect sense. Maybe, Geppetto and Dr. Frankenstein were colleagues of sorts at one point in time. They had similar end goals. But different methodologies?
I also like to think that the Wizard of Oz was an alchemist as well, I don't know if he was ever was colleagues with Geppetto & Dr. Frankestein or not. But, I like to imagine that when he flew to Oz, the natives thought his alchemy was some new form of magic, considering I'd like to imagine Oz would be a very magic-oriented land kinda like the Boiling Isles of "Owl House" if you've ever heard of it, & he was idolized as some sort of powerful sorcerer by Oz's people.
Thus, all of that popularity went to his head & he became something of a god figure to Oz using his alchemy to achieve "miracles" in his new place in the Emerald City of Oz.
I just wanna say man I love your videos , I’m so happy to see your videos and such of a fan of the game like my my self. My personal theory is I think the games dlc is going to “hint at never land or the lost boys which would possibly have more masks of each of the lost boys . And we could see the pan . It would be fitting if p is an analogy for Peter pan , interesting enough Peter Pan and tinker bell could be a great parallel for p.
Little theory: Near the train station you can also see posters of a modern ship. Fits the first picture shown quite modern. Maybe the dlc plays on the ship.
One thousand leagues under the sea would be a great dlc for this kind of series!
I would love to see the studios take on a Peter Pan souls game too!
Nobody wants to play a game where pedoPAN kidnaps kids and have to pretend captain hook is the bad guy...
Honestly, I can imagine Peter Pan as some sort of experiment of one of the Alchemists (Probably Paracelsus considering they have the same initials. Philippus Paracelsus/Peter Pan) that rebelled against them, kinda like Mewtwo from "Pokémon" or Shadow from "Sonic the Hedgehog". And maybe Captain Hook is a bounty hunter hired by Paracelsus to track down Peter in order to bring him back to Kratt.
Real talk tho, if the DLC does have anything to do with Pleasure Island, I imagine that the Coachman would be a Alchemist like Geppetto & Paracelsius (probably an even more fucked in the head one at best) where he runs a similar business to Playtime Co. from "Poppy Playtime" where he'd invite children, whether they'd be orphans or ran away from home, to his island with the guise of having fun with no adults to keep them in line, but it was all a trap to kidnap as many children as possible to experiment on. IDK, just my thoughts.
Dlc will 100% be about emarald city, the yellow broken stargazer points towards the whole yellow brick road theory
Then how do you explain the snow lol. I’d like to think it’s wizard of oz but maybe will be the sequel, not the dlc
@@travismartin6722 But there's a gold stargazer in the game. And it's not activated. Its about Emerald
I hope the arm of God becomes a legion arm or rather something we can equip instead of one
Hey man. I might be reading too much into this, but maybe it’s something worth looking into ?
After the Director’s Letter, we obviously got a glimpse of P on a ship. For some reason this made me look more closely at paintings and I noticed 2 paintings of ships. 1 in Hotel Krat and the 2nd in the Black Rabbit Brotherhood hideout next to where you find the painting of Carlo. Might be a stretch to think these are connected lol but I found it interesting
Another interesting thing is the map of the world as it exists in the Lies of P universe. The clearest one is inside the Abbey... If only I could enhance it somehow...
Nice theory, but I’m pretty sure Champion Victor is a reference to Frankenstein. Just like Belle and Atkinson are a reference to beauty and the beast. Though it’s a possibility they could reuse him like they did with Scrapped Watchmen and Parade monster.
Victor was certainly a Frankenstein reference, but Krat has quite a bit of overlap so anything’s possible!
Definitely love the theory it fits. 1800s writers like collodi and marry Shelly where influential fantasy / science fiction. Imagine other lands of Lewis carol or the brothers Grimm
What if the green light, or aurora borealis, is some how tied to the emerald city in wizard of oz?
I love this train of thought! It would be amazing if they incorporated the Emerald City!
I had a theory before the pictures that the 1st dlc is Dorothy: "Wicked of Oz and the 2nd would be Quasimodo: "Monster of Notre Dame", but if is Frankstein is the dlc, here's my personal title: "The Modern Eternal"
Can you do a video on Romeo .. was he human then turned puppet
Second this. AND the Legendary Stalker.
I only ask cause in the end game he was a small boy and then when you fight him he’s an adult maybe upgrades or maybe something happened which made him become a cyborg
it would be nice if carlos could bring both gepetto & romeo back. maybe the 3 some could sit & discuss issues of the past while learning about how sophia was saved from simon by carlos. perhaps carlos could speak to the guy shown in the credits along with the woman the guy in the credits was speaking to along with dorothy.
That shipooks more like it's flying and in the air though
Going to Neverland 😂
I really like your literary analysis and research.
Thank you!
I am only going to get the dlc comes out. Hopefully there will upgrades and weapons to make the game a bit easier
I really love your vids man
It makes a lot of sense. Although i am still convinced they will mash up the story with another fairytale. Frankenstein is not exactly a fairy tale but....who knows....
Agreed. It will certainly have some sort of shocking twist!
Also, Is the Easter egg the ice shard hidden in P’s mechanical hand, the one with the Ergo glow?
It’s actually a unique Ergo shard that can only be found in NG+!
Good stuff
Champion Victor,kinda looks like Frankenstein?
Indeed. He also reminds me a bit of Bane.
@@TheInhumanOne First phase comic book Bane,Second phase Frankenstein,That’s how I felt when I seen both phases haha
Frankenstein + Peter Pan 😊
Frankenpan
Naah... Champion Victor's story already has Frankstein's vibe. I don't think they will repeat that again.
You’re way off. The DLC will take place at Sesame Street where all of Jim Hensons puppets are now in a frenzy.
Nah... Looks like Black Rabbits and Lost Boys Will bê a thing on DLC...
Except for the fact that the Black Rabbit Brotherhood are all dead…
Then you probably haven't beat the game yet.
