Does the Kentucky bluegrass fix itself fast? Can u just kill the poa with roundup and let the kbg fix it? I have a mostly fescue lawn but was thinking of overseeing it with kbg bc of the rhizomes.
Yes the Kentucky bluegrass does repair itself over time but it’s not something that takes place in a short amount of time. I have done the roundup trick in the past but with having so much of it this year I didn’t want the brown spots from it showing for probably a month or so. The poa is starting to die off. I’ll be sure though to throw down some pre emergent in the fall and maybe even twice in the winter this season.
