I remember in the 90s how excited I was to blow my money I earned as a paper boy to buy a deck of star trek ccg. Watching star trek was a part of my childhood and nerding out getting to play this was so much fun. Good memories.
Thank you so much for this video! Would love another with more complicated decks (Q's tent, doorways, alt universe etc). Please keep up the great work!
Glad you enjoyed the video. That's a great idea. Maybe at some point we could set up a game state that includes side decks and some more advanced concepts and walk through how they work.
Thanks for making these videos! I'll be printing these out and maybe picking up a box of Premier sometime. Looks sweet. Loved Star Trek since childhood. Good stuff.
Glad to hear that they’re helpful! The game can be a little slow and feel more like a board game but if I think it’s worth exploring and tinkering around with!
Glad that you enjoyed the video. Lackey is old, but stable and allows for playing games like STCCG that would otherwise be hard to implement on something like GEMP.
2 Infos on lackeyccg: Passing turns with the blue arrow button saves the game, can be useful when the connection is lost. On the top right is a + button where you can show a small list for the "piles" of another player on the right of the screen, can be useful for selections.
Its possible we can do 2E at some point. I don't know the game nearly as well as 1E, but maybe we'll get there at some point. 2E cards look visually awesome, though. Decipher really figured out templating by that point.
Great game though the interface is a bit too unfriendly to new users, and since the game already has something of a learning curve, a more accessible UI would be desirable.

Always great to see Steve! He's the man. Sometimes STCCG games go way overtime. First comment!!!!!!!
Steve is the man indeed.
Thanks, guys!

@ Yeah, and honestly I don't mind slow games either. I've enjoyed a 12 hour game of Axis and Allies before.
Been meaning to look at lackey, you've made it look very easy, thanks!

Which video has the seed phase? Having trouble finding it. Thanks

I have to check this out. I still have all my old cards but haven't played in like 20 years.
Is the app hard to use?
It can be a bit tricky to figure out and install. Here’s a guide to it if you’re curious.

Awesome! Can you also do 2e content?
