I came to this from Katie's videos for Ableton which demonstrate the complex technical and intellectual processes in her music making. I was very surprised by the live performance. I wonder if the German Cabaret has been an influence and I wonder if the crispness of her enunciation springs from her use of vocal processing, where the fog of reflections,harmonics and modulation can make words blur.
