Everything about this is beautiful and powerful. The song, the inspiration, the dancing, the color grading, the haze. Thank you.
Masterpiece. Music in perfect symphony with the Tarkovski's cinema
Reminds me of "An Electric Storm" by "White Noise" in places. Awesome & powerful track!
Insanely good. Gave me "Suspiria" vibes.
Radio 6 played this yesterday, love it.

The dancer...
Digital Daughter, Analogue Mother?
Is she the sound collector?
I'm late to the party, I recently bought Katie's albums on Bandcamp, I loved this song live on New Sounds ua-cam.com/users/live-IHkVaAWCuI?si=FZdhdXM0cL44J_9N Although it has the swing of the executioner's axe about it, the hook is very persistent and the description of the circumstances surrounding its composition linger in the mind. This video has permanently changed my visual imagination for how it goes. Love the quiet set against the disquiet in the people. Love the overheated discussion that the dancer is engaged in and the attempt that Katie's character tries to make to break into the cycle of torment and distress and the way the persistent throb of the music bridges between and sooths the heat and cold.

Why does this song remind me of the soviet union?
