That's so cool! I'm surprised a lot of med 2 mods didn't use this. The only one I can think of is 3rd age with Arnor. It could add a lot of dynamic gameplay to a whole bunch of campaigns.

Some more guides of the weird Kingdoms specific triggers would be nice. Like what determines when you get the Christianity event as Lithuania or how to get William Wallace as the Scots. I’ve read you have to be losing but no specifics.
I focused on achieving this before anything else. Got the necessary settlements around turn 29-30. The union formed on turn 31 after the Norwegian king died of old age. Turn 32 HRE attacks. Utimately took the whole map (vh/vh). I'd say it is worth going for, if you aren't at war with anyone.
Have been playing a Danish Campaign in the Teutonic expansion at the moment, but the Norwegians took one of the settlements my council of nobles wanted me to get and they wouldn’t give it to me. Couldn’t offer them money because they had pots of it and when I offered them some of my own settlements they claimed that ‘my offer of land would be merely temporary as I would likely take it back from them again afterwards’, so had to take that settlement by force and couldn’t ally with the Norwegians again. Interesting though that you have to kill their king but not completely destroy them. I haven’t taken the Finnish settlement yet because I’ve been stuck in a war with the Holy Roman Empire but will have a go at this
