I just finished the movie and I can confirm the animated movies and the live action movies are officially tied together.
Bro, they even have Childish Gambino playing live action MCU Prowler and a scene from Tom Hardy's Venom. This movie is insane.

This movie was a finely crafted love letter to Spider-Man comics and comic art styles in general. Most of us will probably have to watch it multiple times just to catch most of the references and easter eggs. That said, motion sickness and nausea are basically guaranteed for anyone effected by flashing colors, lights, and rapidly switching scenes. Also, the second half of the movie has so many stopping points that it feels like a television series that just had all its various episodes strung together to make a film. Still, 4-5 stars, great film. Can't wait for Part 2.
I always enjoyed the Last Stand Spider-Man that finally snapped, killed Kraven, and impales Doc Ock with his own arm.

Miguel O’Hara had spider powers. His boss got him addicted to Rapture and he got his powers by genetically splicing his DNA with a spider’s to rid himself of the addiction. His suit provided him some technological advancements on top of that.
He has to be one of the strongest variations. Dude is brutal

I 100% agree with you about Andrew Garfield's Spiderman. He exemplifies the character, both in the costume and out. In my book, he's been the best Spiderman thus far.

Might be an unpopular take, but I really liked the explanation and source of Andrew Garfield’s webbing.
I know Peter Parker is supposed to be crazy smart but Tom Hollands Spider-Man just casually whipping up a batch during class is fucking dumb.
I am not a fan of his betrayal overall. His Peter was such an asshole, his casting was weird because he's obviously very attractive, and just didn't capture the awkward weird kid that Peter is. He made a decent Spiderman but was still a little psychotic
What a time to be alive when Spider-Man 2099 may become a household name...

Just got done watching the movie. NONE of you are ready. easily my favourite movie of all time. Miguel is so damn cold through out the movie, and the cliffhanger is insane. cant wait for Beyond The Spider-Verse

THANK YOU!! I’ve been saying this for years! Andrew is the literal peter parker and spiderman! Tobey just has more experience and Tom has the tech but he really embodied his peter side! Even was able to show his emotion through his body language, while Tobey wasn’t as out and Tom had his tech lenses so it always showed his expressions.
Tobey embodied the 70's Spider-Man, it was the comicbook Spider-Man I grew up with and a great translation.
Garfield did do a phenomenal job. Sadly, the scripts kept his movies from being better and resulted them being the worst SM movies to date.
Holland had the closest embodiment of Peter Parker, but was the farthest from the comics. I'm looking forward to his character getting back down to local neighborhood type Spider-Man
He started off as some angsty good looking, semi-cool sk8tr boi though. That was my least favorite of the Andrew Garfield Spider-Man for me. Don’t even get me started on Martin Sheen’s Uncle Ben. He was the second weakest, only after the practically non-existent Uncle Ben in the Sony/MCU films. I like the earnestness of Tobey’s Peter Parker/Spider-Man. Thought Andrew’s Peter was too much of a brooding loner for my taste, in the beginning, but at least we saw a more practical scientific mind in Andrew’s Peter instead of the spouting of scientific terms and principles.
The best part of Andrew is that he started with Gwen Stacy instead of Mary Jane.
I like how they kept Tom’s Spider-Man a young boy for the first 3 movies, instead of growing up in the span of one movie, like Tobey’s. He was definitely more oblivious and, let’s be honest, inevitable narcissistic by the 3rd film.
I loved the amazing Spider-Man 2. The soundtrack was awesome as well in that movie.
I'm pretty sure Miguel O'hara had non-technological superhuman powers. You can see his finger talons even in this video.
Finally someone referencing the Ultimate Spider-Man series. Gosh I love that animated series. And we also share the love for Andrew Garfield. Big ups Rob

I almost wish she was the Spider-Woman in the Spider-Verse movies instead of Gwen, don't get me wrong, Gwen is great, but May's suit is just so cool on so many different levels like it being Ben's former suit and that's technically like her "Uncle Ben." So many layers.

I really liked the Andrew Garfield Spiderman as well. We should have got a 3rd movie. Im glad we got the tie-in later. It's super well done, and he went all in great performance.
The Ultimate version of Spider-Man's death is one of the most impactful I have ever read. A true hero, until the bitter end. I love that kind of writing.

Ok, yeah, Andrew ACTS more like a spider, but Toby has actual webs that come out of his wrist! That's the main thing, like they obviously all climb on walk walls, but Toby out of the main 3 from the Marvel movie is the only one that has real organic webs! And I feel that is a big part of it and his peter was so awkward and nerdy like he should be so he did really good all together.
If you have a SERIOUS case of Arachnophobia, or that you just can’t handle all of this spider hero goodness that’s being presented in this movie, then this ain’t for you, Playa! But, if you are down with it, then be prepared to get forever entangled into a infinite web of amazing Spider heroics, action, drama, comedy, and most importantly, AWESOMENESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Andrew is one of my favorites after actually watching the movies undistracted. The AMZ movies are highly underrated. 2 is my fav. We need a part 3. That likely would be the best in the series so far. I can see why you say Andrew is the best Spiderman so far.

There is an ongoing story running the mobile game Marvel Strike Force that has a "Nexus Earth" and pulls in characters from other universes and their own to fight Doctor Doom, Apocalypse, Mephisto etc. They have several iterations of Spider-Man including black suit where he never gave up Venom symbiote, Spider-Punk, Big Time Spider-Man, Miles Morales, 2099, Noir and others...just thought if you're adding Contest of Champions you might wanna add a game with a continuous story
