I think longer clips are also fine on this channel. The biggest difference between this video and a wirtualtv video is that this isn’t edited at all. Which has a certain charm to it, like at around 7 minutes, wirtual getting distracted trying to find something else, rather than fully watching the video. Personally I think it’s pretty cool.

I love that you've made this video the same length as the main channel video that was posted at the same time, nice xD
135km in 13,3min are 609 km/h average. An F1 car might have cw=0,6 in an extreme high speed configuration. With a cross section of ~2,25m², the Drag is 22,4 kN.
To sustain this at a speed of 609 km/h this would need an engine power of (average!) 4 MW or 5400 horse powers... nice!
At peak speeds of 900km/h it would be 12,6 MW or almost 17000 horses. Those TM cars are some hefty machines! 😅

I feel like maps like this are telling the player, especially at the complicated areas, press gas and pray that your car is pointing in the right direction and going at the right speed. Simply, send it at full speed, no hesitation, otherwise you are done for.
Except no, you'd never get a majority of these speedchecks without precise speedslides.

Forget about keeping speed up, I wouldn't even know where to go half the time since there are so many random bits to either side of the actual route.
As a non Trackmania player, this is the coolest map I've ever seen. I watched this original TAS video many times through when I first saw it, it's sooo sick

Wow, that speed slide description made a lot of sense. It's really not that complicated. Essentially, it's just maximizing forward acceleration and decreasing friction

What's even harder about this track is that TMNF respawns have 0 speed

you should try the map blindfolded while only steering to the left
that is a long clip indeed, that is a good idea actually but would be nice to put it in the title if it's not that often just so we know when before clicking on the notification
But if you think about it, they needed probably more then 18 hours to create the TAS so Wirtual might be faster with his run ^^

Those SDs look like a MASSIVE understeer to me
Like at 1:30 it clearly looks like too little steering, for those who don't know what an understeer looks like
the faster you go, the less steer you have to do for sds, as he is going 550-600 you dont need to steer that much, and in the video it's perfectly fine
loosing speed during uphill is normal, the sd just makes you loose less
@@ankthares6474 at 550-600 you should be overlapping about a ~50%. The kind of steering done in that timestamp should only be done for 800-900

Well, the wr do respawns so i guess they works (with a respawn way i think)
How do you get the speed to continue if you respawn?TMNF has only standing respawns, right?
I think the checkpoints have like alternative routes to gather speed and then get onto the main one again
Should be boosters on the side for respawn routes if built properly
