This is the third report for the McKendrick Mountain monitoring project. We find one more goat in the nanny herd. That brings the total of the herd to eight. The nanny herd begins to move away from their sunshine ridge where they have stayed for the last six weeks in a 100 meter square area. One billy and his two-year old male follower are still at the north end of the mountain, away from the nanny herd. The worst winter conditions may be over but feed is always difficult to find and uncover.
