Yes you have to mow in the rain, when you’re caught in it. BUT the heavy rains is not good for your mower. These new sealed bearings in these mowers don’t like water. Continue to a blessing.

I may have overlooked it but what angle is the 4x4 cut on?
32 degrees as I remember. That is the angle recommended for blades to be sharpened.

I heard you say something about ants. For many years I had a lot of fire ant mounts. I havent seen very many this year. Maybe they were sent back below the southern border. By the way, I had the same problem years ago with the charging system. Ended up being the voltage regulator It wasnt to pricey, maybe 60 dollars

The magnetic coil in the PTO/Blade clutch draws somewhere around 8-amps. The typical battery charging system (i.e. stator & voltage regulator) has a 15-amp output capacity. Even with a battery in excellent condition, should the charging system fail, the PTO clutch will deplete the battery's charge in about hour or so.
How did I know that you would know 🤣. Looks like it is my charging system.....but the battery was bad as well.

How many hours are you putting on your mowers between changes? I know one guy on here says he changes his every 50 hours. I run Kawasaki engines and change my oil every 100 hours which is what Kawasaki recommends.

Sorry but use a 4 1/2" grinding wheel. Those flap discs only work fast at first and cost five times what a 4 1/2" grinding wheel costs. I run a street rod shop so working metal is not new to me.

Man they changed these up. The drive wheel system is atteched with a carter pin as soon a i loaded my with fertilizer it broke the carter pin when trying to use it . Plus the spacer in the tub undet the hair pin didnt even come in package . Im gonna try and replace and adjust it and if i can get it fixed lowes will be getting it back !!

I started seeing bahia chutes about 2 weeks ago. I dont have trouble cutting it until some time in July when the bahia gets tuff or have a dry week or two.I always wanted to ask about how often you sharpen blades or install sharpened blades. I use Copperhead blades on my Z. I believe they are made in South Georgia.
They have a plant not too far from me. Yes, when it’s dry, it doesn’t cut well at all!

FYI , Last night's video sparked my interest in learning more about a Hustler Super SF.stander. First thing that caught my eye was the deck. Not what you wanted to hear, VX not VX4 . I then scearched Hustler's site under mower decks. It listed only three movers that the VX4 is available, Diesel Z, Super Z, and Hyperdrive

The serial number should be on the left side frame near the fuel tank. What happen to the ROPS, you never swung it up so you took it off ?
That’s correct. It sticks out past the back of the mower making it easier to hit stuff and depending on how we loaded the trailer it would hit the gate. We don’t use it on any steep inclines like ditches. We use the Super S for that so it wasn’t needed.

Just curious to ask why you took the rops off?
We leave it in the down position all the time and it stuck out behind the mower. Made it easier to back into something or hit the trailer gate when loaded on the back.
Have you ever felt under powered with this motor ? The two mowers that I am seriously looking at are the super S and the bad boy revolt 61, which has a 31.5 horse kawi, I wonder if those extra couple horses are needed ? I have heard that the deck lift is really hard to operate on the super s
Thick wet grass will make the 29.5 hp labor, but other than that, it does pretty good. Deck lift on Super S isn’t bad compared to my VRide 2.
