I thought Eddie Murphy became a Pod Person when he did 'Pluto Nash' (which is one of the biggest box office bombs ever made). Almost every movie Eddie Murphy made after that got him a razzie win or razzie nomination

If I wanted to see the Muppets being non-pod people, I go to Disney Junior. At least in THERE the characters we knew and love were still the characters we knew and love. Only a matter of time until sex and drugs become normal in their new show...
I mean, to be fair, when Jim Henson was still alive, there are moments where the Muppets would mention adult topics like sex. One of The Muppet Show pilots is literally called Sex and Violence.

I agree that the Muppets are nothing like they were in their glory days, but this show has grown on me. Plus it's supposedly getting a new show runner for the rest of season one so maybe it'll turn out like it was in the end.

great episode with some comedic yet thought provoking material, the muppets aren't the same as they used to be, they have been modernized to make money rather than keeping with character integrity.

I can see how Glove and Boots can be compared to The Muppets, Arlo, Meet The Feebles, Avenue Q, and the Chuck E Cheese puppets that appeared in show tapes. All those puppets move and talk in the same way.

Technically, Universal owns some of the Hulk for solo movies, and Disney owns some of the Hulk for Avengers. I know that Hulk feels sad and all in this video, but at least Disney gave him more attention in Thor 3 for Sakkar, talking with his neat voice, and fighting Fenris and Surtur!

I grew up with the muppets and this isn't the muppets. It's trying too hard to be a show like 30 rock and it sacrifices the characters as a result.

+Richard Servello I was giving the first several episodes a chance because looked like it had potential; but I agree with you. Kept doing basically the same jokes which got grating and changed the characters' behavior too much
I think it's great. The first few episodes are bad but episodes 7, 9, and 10 were really great!
