This if the first Japanese Godzilla film I saw and boy did I start big! This film received a lot of praise last year and it's fully deserved. Toho's Godzilla Minus One proves that just because it's a Godzilla film, it doesn't mean there can't also be a really compelling human story at the centre of it. This is easily my favourite Godzilla film now but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy the Legendary Pictures ones - they're good popcorn flicks :)
Netflix secured worldwide distribution rights which is a really smart move. The viewing numbers for this film are going to go through the roof!
