She is an average sized woman with no combat training and a baseball bat, she should be weaker than most random street thugs, to say nothing of a uniformed officer.

@ I’d say that’s real-life accuracy, not lore-accurate. Lore-accurate Harley is an OP fighter in most stories only because her writers don’t know how else to make her fans happy. Suddenly she can hang w people like Deathstroke and Killer Shark and take down 30 people in a fight for some reason. But even her OP comic version has 0 chance against Nightwing unless he’s at a severe disadvantage

@@TheJuggerClutch I think there were ways she could have been made dangerous without becoming absurd if they had put some thought into it.
They could have leaned into her pet hyenas more, maybe given them actual superpowers, unexpected mutations from exposure to joker gas, and then turned Harley into a demented houndmaster of sorts who has the time to prance around and make jokes in combat because her pets are doing the heavy lifting.
Instead the way it comes off is that Harley has a magical aura of incompetence that makes other people forget how to fight whenever she steps into the room, which is no fun.

I think the only way to make this make sense is if nightwing was more of a slade boss fight and you use Speedblitz her with Ivy using some support to deal massive damage by positioning him in certain spots or forcing him near the cage.
