They absolutely needed to amp the mic up a bit more. Ruban's voice is amazing but I can barely hear it!
It's not exactly loud in the album mix, either. It's meant to drown into the sound, I think.

I don't get the song I thought if I heard the song a whole bunch of times I would get it I just don't get it
he wishes he could isolate and be in a void of nothingess, " swim and sleeping like a shark means just floating , not moving , into a dark cold abyss, not dealing with anything, completle isolation, is where he wants to be. powerful song for people dealing with addiction or depression or anxiety.

Sharks don't sleep, and they never stop swimming. They basically die if they do.
Sharks can't stop moving or else they die from lack of oxygen. Some think they can sleep while swiming.
I guess the song reffers to live without thinking too much.

Gosh they're terrible live. It sucks so much because they're actually brilliant...
It might be the mixing, tone and stuff and not necessarily their performance but I'm not sure.
