Remedy no longer owns the Quantum Break IP, so they are not at liberty to use the same names as their original counterparts but Mr. Door is one version of Martin Hatch that exists in another timeline.

WAIT YOU DIDN'T MENTION HOW HE SAYD THE FAMILY OF DOORS CAN ALL SHIFT BETWEEN REALITIES! When you're in the dark place as Saga and talk to Tim to get the manuscript it says that Warlin WILLED a door at the plaza to take him to Parliament Tower and Tim tried following the steps but couldn't get it to work but Saga just walks through it. His daughter isn't just a seer, she's also a shifter but doesn't know it yet. Her mind place is probably her own way of peeking into realities since she literally just reads the minds of people.
What if her daughter also has powers?

It's a really clever how the game gives you clues about Door's identity without explicitly telling the player, I had my suspicions but I wasn't sure if he was Saga's father or not.

Mr. Door is angry after Alan Wake because he bring someone important to him in the story and the date 1988 corresponds to the disappearance of Warling Door and Saga's father. It's a bigger hint that just being black.
Ahhh, this explains why Mr. Door's role was originally to be played by Lance Reddick.
Had I played Quantum Break, I probably could have made the connection myself.

Mr door is really quiet the mystery he even makes sega as much so i mean if the power runs in the family does that mean sega has the same powers as door if they are father and daughter although it may not be confirmed the game is kind of given out the possibility.
Honestly, Mr Door has a lot of similarities to the G Man from Half Life. With all the talk of other realities, I would not be surprised if they are the same person.
I think that Mr.Door is Loki since there’s a Scandinavian theme.
I think Loki is Saga, she is an Anderson (half finnish) and Door, she is powerful without knowing it in first place.

Remedy have also said max payne isnt, but the character in alans novels alex casey is OBVIOUSLY max payne, right down to sam lake doing the face and at one point wearing max's signature black leather jacket and ugly tie and weilding a beretta, which struck me as odd since theres only one scene where he has that outfit and gun
@@jackpitman15yeah, quantum break is not per say in the Remedy universe, yet they clearly kept characters like Tim breaker and Warlin door who are clearly depictions of characters from quantum break, just w different names. So we can assume that the lore about them is accurate, while the story of quantum break never happened per say

Quantum Break isn’t connected at all- it’s not within the Remedy Universe which started with Control and they made Alan Wake fit into it
Tim Breaker’s entire presence and subplot in Alan Wake 2 exists specifically to connect Quantum Break to the greater Remedyverse, lol.
Tim is just a variation of Jack Joyce in another reality, very likely Jack Joyce himself after learning how to harness his Shifter abilities to traverse other realities. But he’s still new to Shifting, so he probably had his memory replaced by the variation he inhabits in the Remedyverse.
Same with Door, he’s likely just Hatch manifesting in a different physical form. At the absolute very least, Hatch and Door are members of the same ‘Family’, though I believe it’s the same character.
A universe isn't a multiverse. You can tell because they're different words! 🙃
The video's theory is plainly stated to be that Mr. Door is Martin Hatch in Quantum Break because Hatch can shift to parallel universes. So, obviously, while Alan Wake and the FBC aren't in Quantum Break's universe, Mr. Door can shift between the 'Remedy Universe' and the universe of Quantum Break, and however many others.
Microsoft owns the Quantum Break IP, but that can't stop Remedy from using the parallel universes sci-fi gimmick to cameo Martin Hatch as Mr. Door in the Remedy Universe. So long as Remedy doesn't explicitly state that Mr. Door and Mr. Hatch are the same man, it's legal.
Alan Wake is mentioned a few times in Quantum Break and Door and Tim are pretty much identical to Hatch and Jack. Remedy can't say that Quantum Break is part of their universe for legal reasons, but in practice it is connected.

Saga literally confirmed that tor is her grandfather, yes the story is altered but the anderson brothers existed before alan wake arrived in bright falls

alan wake and control are but quantum break is from Altered World (maybe that the reason sheriff Shawn Ashmore was captured by him he was also jack joyce)
