- My top favorite Christmas carol/hymn to sing and to improvise an grand organ postlude with (along with Veni, Veni Immanuel). Yes, I have dark, deep taste :p
Not Christian in the slightest, but I love how they sang this song! Its very dark sounding, and quite captivating.
ADVANCE MERRY CHRISTMAS 2010 TO ALL OUR CHRISTIAN BRETHREN (CATHOLICS, ORTHODOX, PROTESTANTS AND ANGLICANS) AND TO THE REST OF MANKIND FOR WHOM JESUS WAS BORN FOR THE SALVATION OF ALL!
Hernan Paul Quebrar Protestants cannot be Christians. They don’t believe in what our lord Prescribed
God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman...
UA-cam has an ad before a Christmas Carol that says G** Damn 6 times, beautiful!
Great Choir!
I wouldn't call it overly dark, more Victorian :D My favourite Christmas carol, in fact one of my favourite hymns. So soul-wrenching, magnificent!
Very evocative....Utterly Victorian.
"For this reason also,God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name,
so that at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE WILL BOW,of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,to the glory of God the Father."
Philippians 2:9-11
+IChronicles 29:11
Amen. Praise be to God!
Hail the heavnly Prince of Peace!
Hail the Sun of Righteousness!
Light and life to all He brings,
Risn with healing in His wings.
Mild He lays His glory by,
Born that man no more may die.
Born to raise the sons of earth,
Born to give them second birth.
I thought it was "Hail, the _heav'n-born_ Price of Peace!" But, in any case, I 'm not sure what the third verse of "Hark! the herald angels sing" has to do with "God rest you merry, gentlemen", heard in this video. Two different hymns.
Merry Christmas 2012 to all!!!
merry Christmas from Croatia
'God rest ye Gerry Mentalmen', as me mum used to sing.
wow! the big and little boys seem like monks chanting Christmas carols inside a monastery! let us hope and pray!
loved it Artie, thanks for sharing!! BTW are you here any where!!
Hope it snows, hope it snows!
Have Libera performed in King's College Cambridge already?
The grinch was here.
Always thought the word 'joy' was a bit misplaced in this one. Great sound, but not exactly joyful.
