Really glad you did this video of Dono. I’ve loved the guy since the Cowboys called him on draft day, telling him they were drafting him and him breaking down in tears on the phone. Been one of my favorites since then.

Same here. Remember his first appearances with the star? I feel like we were all saying who is that?! We knew he wasn't gonna start that year but he deserved it. Under rated and under paid. Can't wait to see him get his due.
Edit: didn't know he got a new contract. Didn't have to wait long to see him get his due lol. Can't wait to watch the defense this year.
He had a good/ low-key COVID 19 season.
I absolutely love Dono. I think he brings toughness to the D and they hype up when they see him play like a beast.
Dude is on the ball. Wilson gets the play. Cowboys can beat anybody if everybody shows up. It looks pretty good this year. But it also looks like setting up a dynastic string of wins with this Dallas Cowboys. Go Cowboys.

Dono is the type of player every good defense needs, he's sort Polamalu-ish as a box SS. Sidenote: watching LVE run from blocks or get blocked easily is irritating, especially when Dono is playing the right way.
Toughness and intelligence, reminds me of Darren Woodson. What a passionate and inspiring player! I think this defense is going to be great.

It's about time someone gave Dono some love. He's been great since they started him 2 years ago against the Vikings. He was making plays all over the field that game and never let up since. Its a shame it took another year and 3 or 4 injuries before they put him back in as a starter.
Very underrated, as is Kearse. Wilson is exceptional as a pass rushing safety, and hes arguably pound for pound, the best tackler on the Cowboys. Id like a lil more ball hawking, but hes solid against the pass, and does a good job keeping receivers in front of him, very rarely do guys get behind him for big plays.

I always cheer for Cowboys draft picks. I learn about potential players so DW was one of those kids.
I dont watch college ball but i saw he was a hard hitter. Tbis video shows that he has developed from a late rounder to an elite talent.
I knew he was doing well and i was happy a draft pick paid off but this video shows a powerful player.

When Dono as a rookie came up and Drilled DCook in Min. and made Cook fumble....DCook has not been the same since and Donovan has turned into what Micah called him a Jaguar. A Jaguar will go in there and GET IT....Donovan does that. HE is a STUD. Said it his rookie year say it now best S drafted since DWoodson. MBell is gonna be the next S to step up watch!

The key for a great strong safety to truly excel is having a capable partner in the free safety position. I think the Cowboys have that in Malik Hooker. Defense looking strong for 2023. Never know how these things are going to go, though...

That is laughable. He is good enough to be a starter but it is laughable to suggest he is the best in the NFL or even All Pro/Pro Bowl level. Just because a player hits hard doesn't mean he is the best player at his position in the NFL.

Great video glad to see him make it to this point , alot of people dont know this guy played receiver, safety, corner, and return punts and kicks in high school, track star helluva athelete at woodlawn high in Louisiana, i know because he played for my friends derwin and jerwin wilson , both excellent coaches ones at texas southern and the other at duncanville high they groomed him he also put in the work in a city where it's easy to let the streets ruin your life

Cowboys had one of the best defenses last season think they were number 2 to the 49'rs who were number 1. The offense really fell off the later half of the season but that should change. Once cowboys square up that run defense they will be number 1 in defense. That was their only weakness. Thinking cowboys should have the number 1 defense this year and their offense should be in the top 5 if not the top 3.

He plays with killer instinct and loves to hit hard like a great safety should. I wish he could train Diggs to play more physical. Hell just watch Diggs in this video being a creampuff. As a diehard Cowboys fan I love Diggs for his ball hawking ability, but the man plays pathetically soft.
