What was your favorite moment of Sean Lee’s career?
His Interception and amazing effort for the touchdown. That was when he went against the Jets.
@@jaden36001 Yeah that was an awesome play, he got a ton of interceptions for a linebacker.
His first pick 6
@@DC4L99 yep
His pick 6 against Detroit.
Injuries robbed him of a hall of fame career. Absolute class in every aspect, on and off the field
Yep I absolutely agree with you 💯.
Agreed
What’s worse is it’s completely out of his career
Control
With a highlight reel like this, he at least deserves HoF consideration.
This guy always played his heart out. A Cowboy all-time great 💪🏾
Yep 💯, he will be missed.
Lee could have been a top 10 linebacker of all time had injuries not derail his entire career.
One quote sums up Lee. “Sean is one of the most instinctive linebackers in the league, maybe as instinctive as probably anybody I could think of. He’s got a great nose for the ball, has a good anticipation in both the running game and the passing game, shows up in the right place at the right time, just really knows what’s happening a lot of times before it occurs. He’s got 12 career interceptions [at time of quote]. That’s a lot for a linebacker, especially given the number of games he’s played”. - Bill Belichick
Yeah I just wish he could’ve stayed healthy, would’ve been a hall of famer.
@@DC4L99 No doubt.
Damn, Sean Lee was so good. He had HOF potential but his injuries just kept him off the field too much. Still, I'll always love Lee. Dude was the heart of our defense for a while.
💯.
pleasure playing with him. You don't understand how good of a guy he really is. Have a great retirement sean
Hope he enjoys retirement 💯.
Yes Dak Yes
No way this is REALLY Dak.
Had fun watching him through the years. Hopefully you and the rest of the team have an amazing fun year. Take care Dak.
If this is dak hope you guys kick some a$$ this year
It really is a shame injuries got the best of him. This guy was a beast when he was healthy
Yeah Lee was awesome, just couldn’t stay on the field.
exactly , great instincts/knowledge
He'll make a fantastic coach one day! He's definitely old school eat sleep and breathe football 🏈
I really hope he makes the hall of fame! He deserves it after that career he served us cowboy fans well
I think he would’ve if it weren’t for injuries. Lee was an awesome player for us 💯.
So I take it he's not coming back? Sorry, I haven't kept up with my Boys this off season.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@emmanuelgracia4766 he retired
I love Sean lee but he just isn’t a hof player
Thank you Sean Lee. I've watched you play for this team for the past 11 years. You are one of my favorites. We are gonna miss u
Facts 💯.
Lee had more interceptions than most corners during his run in the nfl.
All of those interceptions man. Damnnnm!
I love how he makes a great play and he be like are right let's get ready to go again.
Great linebacker in his prime.
VRY True, he NVR did that Jaylon Smith walk, consummate Pro
Always will be a Dallas legend
💯.
Never seen a 4-3 LB win games all by himself. Lee was special
I remember watching the 2010 draft and getting Sean and Dez in the same draft I was hyped for both picks. Enjoy the rest of your 2nd life with your family and jesus mr lee.
Sean Lee was the heart of the defense he will be sorely missed. I consider him a "Ring of Honor" candidate.
I hope Lee makes it in the hall of fame down the road. Can he be the next Dallas LB coach or maybe defensive coordinator?!!!
Let’s hope he becomes an assistant coach.
@@DC4L99 or that.
Sean Lee looking like Ed Reed with those returns. God bless you on your journey General. Salute
High football iq and always played with passion if we more players like that we had a few chips already!!! I appreciate everything you did mr lee
💯.
Another one of our greats retiring man gonna miss #50
Thanks legend❤️😞
💯.
One of the smartest players to ever wear a star, we are lucky to have been able to watch him play.
Injuries ruin everything! One of the best to play the position. Thanks for the memories Sean Lee, Enjoy your retirement. Maybe our future LB'er coach?????
Unlike 80 percent of defenders in the NFL today, if it hit his hands, Sean Lee was catching it, and if he got his hands on you, you were going down. Some pretty good vision and cuts on these INT returns too lol.
God, its a shame his body couldnt hold up. Great player.
Exactly!!! Dude was a savage in coverage almost like a CB
He was a running back in high school and you see that experience and instinct on every one of his interception returns. Even though his career was short, he is a candidate for Cowboys ring of honor.
Legend has it, Sean Lee never once missed a tackle.
Guy had such great awareness and nimble feet when the ball was in his hands. He will be missed. I do hope he returns as a coach.
I’m hoping they give him a coaching position.
One of my favorite cowboys of all time. Glad he got to represent the star
I miss you Sean. And thank you it was awesome seeing you out there
Legend on and off the field. Gonna miss seeing you out there on Sunday, won't be the same. I guess my Lee jersey is a classic now, thanks for all the memories general Lee! #dc4l
He was 💯, hope he becomes a coach for us.
He had such a nose for the football. His brain outdid his skill set. Such a smart football player.
Man I gotta miss Sean Lee playing I remember him where he picked off Peyton Manning twice.
Me too.
We need him as our linebackers coach
Injuries plagued Shawn his entire career and he still whipped some azz on the field.
Yep it’s unfortunate.
Sean was similar to Luke Kuechly (Just not as recognized throughout the league because of more injuires throughout his career compared to Luke). Both were one of the smartest linebackers in the game and either of them had the potential to be one of the greatest linebacker of all time if not for injuries.
Yeah both were awesome, just struggled to stay on the field.
Facts!
Hope he stays around as and assistant LB Coach. Sean know the game very well.
Me too.
Gonna be missed heavy! One of the smartest backers Ive seen play
Damn how many int’s did he have. I knew he had quite a few but if he stayed healthy, definitely HOF! Injuries robbed him. Best LB when healthy.
Gonna miss you Big Dawg!! Thank you for an amazing career! You will not be forgotten!
Facts 💯.
He is my favorite cowboy ever!!!!!
He was a tackling machine. He was just injured all the time
Yep unfortunately struggled to stay on the field.
He was really the troy polamalu of linebackers for the boys. Just hate that injuries kept him off the field for his career i will miss you sean.
A Cowboy legend
Thanks for all your hard work on these great videos.
No problem, thanks for watching 👍🙏.
Thank you Sean Lee, a true pro and a true gentleman. Proud fan here! GO DACK!, let's go brother.
Hope he enjoys retirement.
What a great player. I believe he played running back as well in addition to defense in high school. It definitely shows. I feel like he 15 interceptions in that short clip. Always around the ball.
Yeah I was surprised at how many interceptions he had when making this video.
@@DC4L99 I remember when he was at Penn State and teamed up with Dan Connor and Paul Pusluszny . They were also running backs in high school. That was a cool video you posted.
My fave combo at linebacker will always be Bruce Carter and Sean Lee loved the whole Bruce Lee combo we had oh and Rolondo McClain :( 2014 was our year man
The general of the cowboys defense. Fantastic leadership and morale igniter for the cowboys. I will definitely miss seeing #50 fly up and down the field. A beer raised high for the man. Thank you for the crazy reaction to your picks and tackles. 😔
God I would've loved to have seen Micah get tips and advice from Sean Lee. I sincerely hope that he comes back as a coach for us in the near future. Specifically as a Linebacker coach. Will forever be one of my favorite players of all time.
Love the message at end !!!
He was a monster.
Sean Lee definitely is a Cowboy that deserved to win a Superbowl. He put his heart into every single play!! My favorite plays of him were his fast backfield tackles for a lost, especially against Darren Sproiles, that dude was a shifty runner no lie🔥 but Lee would bust his shit up before he got started 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you Sean Lee#50
Dallas needs a Linebacker like this again!!! 2021
Facts 💯.
Man if Lee wasn't so injury prone he was headed to greatness. This dude knew the play book inside and out.
Could have used him this last playoff against the packers. Miss this player so much
Came back to this video because him and Jason witten got me into football and just love them bro 🙌
Thank you Sean Lee
I'm going to miss Sean Lee he was amazing!
Only if he could have stayed healthy man what his career would have been but he was still a beast when he was out their ! Thanks for the memories and hope u have a smooth transition in 2 retirement my bro hopefully we will see u on the field again at some level peace!
Very, Very, Very good !!! Super Player and profesional..., The best in Cow boys
Sean Lee will always be a huge what if, if he were to stay healthy you’re looking at a potential HOFer
Yep I agree CJ.
Love this dude! Wish he still played for the Cowboys
I hope he stays around as a coach!
Same.
Sean Lee was the real deal
One of the greats
Facts 💯.
@@DC4L99 yes indeed
Sean Lee is my one and only Dallas Jersey. He was a class act on and off the field. Injuries crippled (what should have been) his HOF career in my opinion.
Cowboy's LEGEND
He was always first to the ball man he read all the running plays he had bout as many solo tackles as ints he will be missed
Definitely will be missed 💯.
He was the man just could not stay healthy,I hope we hire him as our LB coach or Something
I hope they do too.
He needs to be on this team in some capacity.
You putting these edits together the same day of breaking news deserves so many more likes and subs! Keep up the great work!
Thanks buddy 🙏.
Played with no F's given but the injuries slowed him down if he never had that issues no telling how bad this guy could have been...Cowboys nation thanks you for giving a 110 percent
Favorite player ever.
He was a beast to.
Best shut down corner we’ve had since D sanders
Damn I’m getting old ... 😢.. General Lee it was a pleasure... out--

People keep saying he’s “Instinctive, smart” etc…..what about the fact that he was an amazing athlete. Dude covered receivers in open space like a Saftey or Cb and filled running lanes like a 1980s MLB, he was a freak of nature
THANK YOU #50👏😮
You could teach Linebacking with that Tape & those were some GR8 Returns too!!!
Picked off both Brady and Manning in the NFC. His mind was the best
Yeah Lee was awesome, just struggled to stay on the field.
Makes me sick...
Thank you Mr. Lee
Man sean lee was a ball hawk and such a smart player. We need more studs like him. Sucks injuries plagued his career
The man who is taking his place can now be quoted as having said "See ball. Get ball." Promising
I have his rookie card. And 3 Dez rookies!
Nice 👍, those are some awesome cards to own. I have a couple ones of Dez.
@@DC4L99 sweet! I have a Score which is Panini brand Sean Lee. Love it. I always loved him, but, we found ourselves playing back ups because of him alot of times
HOF career prevented by injuries
Facts 💯.
A True Cowboy
💯.
The General. Amazing player, hope he comes back to mentor and coach.
One of the best to do it. His character is boarderline legendary.
Yer Awesome Dude... 🍻🤠🤠🤠 I said it the First time I saw yer video. 🍻 Don’t ever change. Ya got Great Vision 🧐
Thanks 🙏, i appreciate the support 👍.
Not having Sean Lees mind on the football field is a loss for the game he knew the ins and outs of football so well
Cowboy for life
The General!!!!! How much better defense was when The General was on the field. Absolutely a baller!!!!! Enjoy your time Sean Lee, definitely one of the best LB's ever!!!!!!
Sean Lee he was a good player
💯.
Linebacker with ballhawk skills of a DB
Thank you General you will be missed hope to see you on the Cowboys sidelines in the future as a coach
We could use his expertise on the sidelines 💯.
A core memory
Yep 💯.
As a Diehard Cowboys fan, I'll always love me some Sean Lee...
I agree great football player!!!
Very sad to see him retire, He is such a smart player that I don't know if they can really replace him.
Sean Lee's cleats are gonna be extremely hard to fill, cause he not ONLY set the tone at the linebacker position, but for the entire defense as a whole. Really sucks to know injuries robbed him and the defense of much more, cause when he was healthy, couldn't nobody tell that defense NAY-THIIIINNNG!!! That defense was EASILY in the top 5 the second Sean Lee stepped out on the field. And it didn't hold much water if the opposing QB called an audible...he had their number from the beginning to end of pretty much each play, as he could make adjustments in the middle OF a play, as this highlight reel proved. 💯💯💯
If Micah Parsons becomes a sure tackler like Sean Lee was... He'll be one of the top linebackers in the NFL
It's sad to see my boy lee retire but I get it and he would be a hell of a lb coach for us
