The same holds true aboard ships of the Disney Cruise Line. I just spent 5 days on the Disney Wish... there is background music almost wherever you go on the ship providing the same assistance to the theming all around.
There's a podcast out there called Window to the Magic. I highly recommend it; it's basically just a guy wandering around one park or another with a binaural mic on, but if i need background for doing work, I can't recommend it enough. It's so relaxing and positive emotion inducing, without distraction of commentary.
Great idea for a compelling series. The sound design at Islands of Adventure is a masterclass, so happy you talked about my favourite elements, particularly the transition between Seuss Landing and Lost Continent. It's one aspect I'm excited about for Epic Universe. While we can guess the music in each land, will be interesting to see how Celestial Park ties it all together.
Such an underrated topic in theme parks that plays such a HUGE role in the atmosphere of lands & rides, and just makes the entire park so much more memorable. You do such a great job of giving these topics a great insight. Awesome video as always!!
Absolutely loved this, and can’t wait to see more instalments of the series (even if you failed to include any references to Taylor Swift 🤪). Music really does make such a big difference at the parks though. It’s always one of the first things I notice, especially at smaller independent and regional parks where you’d least expect it.
Oh wow this was awesome! I especially loved all the accompanying keyboard parts helping to explain the different moods of music 🎶 My favourite soundtrack at the moment is the welcome music to Efteling. Something so heroic yet so delicate about it. Can’t wait for part 2!
Space Mountain music is awesome ❤❤❤❤❤. I just don't think I can ride anymore last my now 40 yr old body can't handle it and I was 39 at that time. N yes Soaring was is beautiful ❤❤❤❤.
I can't really travel far for theme parks so I usually just come back to the Efteling a lot, and the song for "De Vliegende Hollander" at the final area in the queue is so memorable and pretty.

Interesting! I have yet to experience that, but I love that attention to detail.

Oooh yes I'm really looking forward to the original music we'll hear at Epic Universe!

Very true! There aren't as many examples in smaller parks, but the quality can be just as phenomenal.

One of the most important details to include in a park. Its what brings the magic and immersion to a full slate.
Absolutely! It's like adding color to art. Thanks for tuning in!
