- While in Springfield we visited the Wonders of Life Aquarium and Museum, located at the Bass Pro Shop. This aquarium truly is an amazing and magnificent place to see, explore and learn from! No expense was spared in building this place and they have done a wonderful job of creating many different habitats of aquatic life there. We would recommend planning to visit there for two days because after seeing all there is to see in the aquarium we were pretty tired and didn't spend as much time as we should have in the wildlife museum. It's definitely a must visit if you're passing through Springfield Missouri.

Adam, I have been a follower of your channel for years. If you are heading East on 44 from Springfield, you will pass right by my shop. I build and repair stringed instruments. I have a tiny machine shop as well. Would love to have you stop by. Only 3 miles off the highway. Have lots to show and I think you would both find it very interesting. I built my own sawmill, dump trailer, hydraulic brush hog, wood splitter, not to mention lots of unique tools for my instrument business. Also horses, antiques, and Indian artifacts with a grave as well. I'd love to have you stop by.

Looks like an awesome place ! I say it every time but I love watching the two of you , you remind me of a young version of my mom and dad back when we would go on our weekend adventures.

Johnny Morris took like 9 years plus to complete the making of the Wonders of Wildlife.
I've been to many Aquariums, and Georgia, Sheds, and Tampa are all hard to beat. Tampa's aquarium needs quite a bit of work from the last time we were there, the main reef tank needs to have the acrylic re-polished due to so many scratches. Shed's aquarium was nice, but so over packed by people you couldn't take your time through it. MANY rude people there as well at Sheds because of how over-packed it was. I'll put this place on my list. The BEST aquarium's though? The reefs of Bonaire, Maui, Hawaii, and the wall's of Grand Cayman...just to name a few. SO FREAKING AMAZING.
Not sure who actually voted it #1. I live in Springfield and it's not all that good considering how much they charge to get in. The Georgia aquarium is huge compared to it and it costs less to get in.
That was fun to watch.
I've been surprised that I didn't see a few frames of Grizzly Tools (about a mile away from that aquarium).
I did a stingray touch tank with my best friend once. We had little sardines and they came up like vacuum cleaners to suck the fish right out of our hands. 😸 So cool.

I had the same concern. There is plenty of benches along the way I was impressed with that. I've been 4 times and I have leg issues.

Well, Cameras are obviously allowed, but what about fish puns? Maybe if you're in a grouper? I guess if you don't just carp on and on, they'll let you do it. Probably OK if you're the sole visitor. Don't be koi, just get up on your perch and say "wahoo" just for the halibut. Don't overdo it, as the staff will tell you "Cod you please stop - I've haddock with you". Know your plaice, or it could be your wrasse.
Check with satellite internet providers and ask if they have mobile satellite equipment. Back when I drove over the road truckers had mobile satellite TV service.

Thank you for spending the money so I didnt have to... after moving to the area and learning about the aquarium I was excited to go and check it out someday until I saw the prices for admission..... $44 per adult is fn outrageous and spending at least $150 for out family just to get into the door and having the kids bored within five minutes would of pissed me off. Thanks for the video, in my eyes from what I saw I'd be highly disappointed if I went. Glad youtube is full of these videos, saves us a ton of money.
That is expensive but I’ll tell you what the aquarium itself is way better than the aquarium at SeaWorld in Orlando and it costs well over $100 a ticket.

Cool place but waaaay too expensive.
Cost a lot to design and build that place and I’m sure the running expenses are up there too. Small price to pay for the enjoying they bring people, and history.
