Beautiful filming. I don’t get why people are shocked that there’s excellence in the Midwest? Not to mention the number one rated resort in United States is Big Cedar down in Branson. We live in California and have never found anything with the quality or excellence that we have found in the Midwest or in the south. The hospitality, the creativity, The integrity and commitment to excellence seems to nest in the Midwest and the south. Aside from all that - this was an excellent video and I really appreciate it.
This place looks amazing! All of the exhibits are spectacular. You did an excellent job narrating and video recording. I could spend an entire day here. I've seen video footage of the Georgia Aquarium and in my opinion it can't touch this place but I'll look at another video of the Georgia Aquarium and see if I change my mind. But I don't think so! I love your aquarium and museum Springfield! Your community should be extremely proud!
So, I actually work here. Or in the Bass Pro shop there. Being a Springfield native, I'm very familiar with the joke that Johnny Morris owns that corner of town because right there we have our outlet store, outdoor world (the other shopping area), Tracker County (our boat dealership), Hemingway's Bluewater Cafe (that's where I work), Wonders of Wildlife, Angler's Inn (our hotel), and the White River Conference Center (a huge events center). It is part of the company plan to completely renovate our conference center to be a new family fun area with a bowling alley, go kart track, mini golf, etc. We bought an old building next door that will be our new conference center. Wonders of Wildlife actually took nine years to build. It originally opened in 2001 (same year I was born), but closed in 2006 and the property was turned over to the city. Bass Pro bought it in 2008 and started construction. It kind of became a joke because they kept announcing that it would open every two years, but then the opening would be delayed. In 2017, they finally said it would open in the fall. It was HUGE news when it opened. That entire parking lot was covered with a tent and they had George H.W. Bush, Jimmy Carter, and George W. Bush in attendance, as well as like three bands and Mark Wahlberg go diving in the fish tanks. It was dangerously close to being unfinished for the opening; they still had the painting crew in there just the day before opening. Johnny Morris kept doing a walk through with his family and they kept telling them to start over. An entire section wasn't built for the opening, but is about to open to the public here soon.
Elias Mertens Most of the delay was due to having certain paperwork for the animals. Everything has to be accounted for to make sure they weren't poached or bought off the black market...to line up with the Conservation message BPS spreads.
I am envious that the best zoo/aquarium that I have access to is our local Ocean Park, and it’s NOTHING compared to this. All these exhibits look magnificent and they have such a wide variety of animals.
def gonna try to hit up this place when i head out to the branson/springfield area at some point in the coming years. im a big bass pro fan and this aquarium has some brilliant theming and exhibit designs. unfortunately i live about 8.5 hours away but i love aquariums and theme parks and this and silver dollar city are big enough motivators to get me to try and carve some dates out to go out there
The wildlife is designed with fiberglass, not taxidermy. Which is pretty cool, because no animal had to die to be displayed. Took them 11 years from start to finish to get this place open. But, I love what they did with it. Thanks for the tour.
Very nice video despite the STUNNINGLY obnoxious and brain dead narrator is supposed to be a "Legend." After I mostly muted it if was much more enjoyable. This man said some pretty dumb stuff. We have been considering going to this place and this video pretty much convinced us to go. DO NOT LISTEN to "The Legend" in this because you will probably wind up not going just because of his comments. The place does look amazing.
Holy cow! I go to bass pro quite often but never had time to go here. I’m gonna have to set a day to go. Absolutely love bass pro.

I really enjoyed my first visit here last year! It’s a great spot!
Wow I live less than 2 miles from this place. No idea it looked this good. Thanks for the video!

I know where im taking the family next year
Cool video. I like how it's obvious that hunting isn't your thing, yet you didn't bash it. Respect.
I noticed you missed the ending where u can play with the rays at the end. that was something to show and was hoping to see.
Wow, that looks like a fun place!!!!!!!!

Insane that this is in Springfield, MO.
Great video. Me and my brother think you sound like Chris Pratt.
I love that place awsome I got scared in the ship reack room the door opened and it scared the bagebas out of me
I had a wildlife museum but it isn't open anymore, it was cool, but I hated walking alone 😂
Wow, its beautiful! How much does it cost to get in?
About $40
17.99 child 46.00 an adult
@@IntheLoopPodcast What type of bats are they on 23:14
$40 isn't bad, $30 additional to dive in with sharks. That's awesome, $70 over all is pretty neat.
I went here it was amazing! I recommend going there ! He also forgot to say it’s like 40bucks for each person in the aquarium-
40? Better be good cause I'm going soon
Did he say a sharknado of fish?? 🤨🧐
It seems really dark in there. Do the animals get any sunlight or exposure to the outdoors?
ilovecanines Its not that dark in it-
I’m horrified he would have dropped the phone
Fear not, recorded this with the video camera that attaches to my hand
I can't imagine trying to plan the design of this place. Incredible.
Why are those bass and sea horses so fat!?
The sea horses are actually pregnant. The bass are probably carrying eggs, or just fat lol
Damn
It's 50 bucks per person for one day visitors....so be prepared for that.
Iñ
