Here I am commenting on old videos again, but the tortoise was a Red-footed Tortoise in case you hadn't found that out in the intervening time. Great channel. Love the attention you give to exhibits that many people would gloss over.
I went here about two years ago with my friend. I had no idea where the hell we were, and I don’t mean just the place. I wasn’t even sure what city. I just knew it was Missouri. So about a week ago I started googling it and finally found the place. I’m going again tomorrow with my mom because I loved it so much. Can’t wait.
My visit was completely unplanned, I had a free day and saw it advertised on a billboard. Very happy I went and explored the aquarium and museum. I'm glad you did some research and decided to go with your mom. I hope the two if you had a fantastic time.
Of all thing! I That used to be my world. I was looking for the location of my old boat. Hull #30 made by Rybovich and Sons. and it led to this video. Wow what a great place and a wonderful display of sportfishing! Going there!
Since your in this area you should go visit the Oklahoma City zoo it's Really nice zoo. There new Asia themed area is really cool and new. Also out that way is the Little Rock zoo whitch is a pretty nice zoo. Great video hope you could visit these places in the future.
At this particular aquarium I really enjoyed the Otters. Overall I don't really have a "Favorite" animal. I love all animals. Main reason I enjoy going to different zoo's and aquariums.
@@TomsRoadTrippin I work at Cabela's in Buffalo NY. Bass Pro owns Cabela's now. And I am a huge bass fisherman, I work in the fishing department! The reason it's called Johnny Morris world of wildlife aquarium is because Johnny Morris is the founder of bass pro, and that bass pro shops you were at was the first retail bass pro and we call it the grandaddy
I readily admitted in the tour that I don't know a thing about fishing. I'm grateful that viewers share info about things I didn't know. Those stores are so much fun to go through, I can see why you enjoy working in one.
@@TomsRoadTrippin absolutely you don't come into a Cabela's or bass pro for the shopping, that comes in second. You come to a bass pro and Cabela's for the experience!
Since you don't fish, is their any other sport you watch or play? I use to watch college football, Auburn University, but not anymore. I'm more of walking at our state park and when it's cold or raining I stay indoors and clean up my trailer, watch a good movie or read a book.
The tortoise at 30:00 is either a yellow-footed or a red-footed tortoise but it's hard to tell from this footage alone. I really like the design of this aquarium and the enclosures and tanks seem to be decent. The otter enclosure seems kinda small unless the video shows only a portion of it. Also not a fan of pelicans and flamingo's being kept indoors in darkness like this.
Thanks for the identification of the tortoise. This aquarium was fantastic, I really enjoyed the beautiful tanks and colorful fish. The habitat for the otters was larger than it looked in the video. I agree with you on the birds needing to be outside. That would be the only downside to this place. I appreciate your comment.
such a beautiful aquarium
It really is a gorgeous aquarium, I really loved my experience though the whole aquarium
@@TomsRoadTrippin that's lovely

Thank You Steven, I have lots of good older vids to still enjoy. I am happy to hear you enjoy my content, I try to show everything in my tours.
My son works here. I haven't got to go yet but I can't wait to take my grandkids. We are coming to see you soon Uncle Spenser!!!!!!
Yoo me and my family might go here today
I hope you all have a great time
@@TomsRoadTrippin Thank you!

@@TomsRoadTrippin Hi !
I love this museum and aquarium
This is my favorite aquarium I've been too so far. Thanks for watching 😊
I'm so excited! We get a discount for being "neighbors" with Springfield which is awesome!
That's Fantastic, what a wonderful aquarium to live near. 👍
Awesome place! Can't wait for the next video!
Thank You 😃
beautiful place
This waa an amazing aquarium, so glad I stopped after seeing the Billboard advertising.
Very informative video! Thanks!
Thank You, I do my best to show everything

That's a fantastic place to go for sport fishing enthusiasts. I only showed a small portion of what you'll find there. Enjoy your visit 😊
What region of the ubited states will you be visiting?
united
I'll be visiting the Northeastern U.S. this year. Still making plans as to what and where.
Nice Museum and nice Video.
Whats the next Zoo?
Does the aquarium have wheel chairs to loan?
Yes, standard wheelchair are free to use. There is a rental fee for mobilized scooter.

Cool can't wait for more videos
Where are you going after this
The Wonders of Wildlife Museum is next.
I wanna go to this aquarium one day
It's the best aquarium I've been too so far. I highly recommend this facility.
I'm from indianapolis still live here
I really enjoyed the zoo there, didn't get to do any of the other things though.
The train is fun you can see giraffe and gazelle
Don't go in there alone, I got lost there and it was scary
It is a very large place, I can totally understand getting lost. 😮
at 23.45 there was a no photo thing
Were you referring to the blackout doors?
What is your favourite animal?

Tom's Road Trippin i also love all animals🐜🦂🕷🦎🐍🐢🦆🦧🦒🦘🦛🐆🐅
The fish in lunker lake, those are largemouth bass. A name for a huge bass when you catch one is called a lunker
Thanks for that bit of information, I wasn't aware if that.

@@TomsRoadTrippin Cool 😎
You need to go to Georgia aquarium and Kansas City zoo
I have been to both already, you can find the Georgia Aquarium vid under my Aquariums tab. The Kansas City Zoo vid will be out Thurs.
That's the bass pro shops headquarters
Yeppers, it's the largest Bass Pro Sho too.

Can you fall in I'm a little scared
I'd rather not fall in 😒
When I was at the tank with all the parrot fish there was a little girl and she called the parrot fish a dinosaurus fish , lol
Little kids are funny, they are still learning and call things by the wrong name. 😆
The green and white snake looks like a emrald tree boa
Thanks for the input, I think your correct
I catch trees 🎄, better than I catch fish 🐠.
I enjoy watching fish more than catching them
@@TomsRoadTrippin I love watching them also. I've had a lot of fish as pet's.
