- Kyosho never disappoints when it comes to scale details and the all new Fazer VEi 2015 SRT Challenger HellCat pulled out all stops on making a 100% scale version of the famed MOPAR. To accomplish the perfect scale SRT, Kyosho took the already proven 1/10th Fazer chassis and stretched it my almost an inch to capture the precise 200mm body of the SRT. Add new technology from Team Orion and the D-Drive system and you have a great product from the innovator of RC!

Dang, that body looks sweet. I love all the detail like the grill, mirrors and tinted windows. Very nice.
+BBowenRC Thanks Brett!
Nice unboxing, that body is sick with all the details.
Can't wait to see it run.
+BR C Thanks BR C!
Another awesome video on an awesome car Rich. You are so good at producing so much great content that I keep watching. thanks for putting so much time on the channel to entertain us and I love your videos. Thumbs UP UP UP
+JPRC Thanks so much, JPRC!
Great to see the d drive system actually put into its model.nice review.
+shadab k Yeah, it did great. After some hard running, I checked the temp and it was at 130....not bad
that body is really sick looking, i have to say.
+humble rc I agree!
Nice, looks like it will be a fun car to play with
+FILTHYRC 1328 Yep, I agree!
Great video man. Thanks
+RC Tanks & Trucks 24/7 Thanks for watching, RCT&T
Nice, can't wait to see it in action!
+mtctookie25 Me too!
Digging the Hemi Rich, super sweet looking RC it is Nice !
+Shayen RC Enthusiast. Yeah, need to lower the body a bit and strap on some 3s power! lol
Cool car difficult to find where I live and I bought mine yesterday (black) but the store had 2 left in green. Can't wait for warm weather.
Funny....I wanted the Green and only could find the Black version! lol
Looks pretty good.
+Theibault Thanks TB!
stumbled on this video may make this my new hobby great video !
+buttnakedsneaks Thanks BNS! It is a great hobby and Kyosho does a great job of capturing the Challenger
Awesome review. Great looking Challenger. 👍
+Noeys fastrc It's probably my fav newer dodge body
very nice for the price point, very nice body
+Flash Hobbies Thanks Flash!
Lol @ 7:05. my dad was always flippin out at me when I was a kid for nabbing the TV remote battery's or his razor batteries.
+Gary Lowe Yep, I'm notorious!
Hi it looking cool Arthur
+Arthur Breault Thanks Arthur!
Wow which that is a beautiful car man that's for sure awesome awesome review brother
+Roy Nelson Thanks Roy.....This is by far my fav MOPAR car!
I can see why that thing is awesome brother rich
My favorite rtr radio is the tactic ttx 300 that came with my axial yeti
+ULTiMATE TRAXXAS MAN Yeah, that's a very close second
+The RCNetwork it is
Looks cool man! Great show :)
+BushmanofYukon Thanks Yukon!
the body looks great, now if they made one in crazy plum purple.
+powcar91 I agree!
Sorry for the 2 comments Rich. I forgot to mention that that's a cracking good looking RC. I too would be tempted to not run it.
+Gary Lowe Yeah.....don't was to roll it over! lol
I like the idea of a d-drive, but because it is new, there are very few esc upgrade options, meaning you would have to buy both a new motor and esc. Kind of a bummer, and is there a place for a standard esc?
+RC Central Yeah, I agree. It would be a bummer to have to replace it all. There is room for an ESC, since the Fazer has been around for a while
Now I will say for display purposes I'd lower the body, running however I'd raise it unless you have a very, very, very, did I mention very smooth surface lol.
+Anthony Eaglebarger (toysoldier46552) Remember, this is an unboxing......the body can easily be lowered by the
body mounts....easy fix, which I'll show in two upcoming videos.
The RCNetwork I do realize it can be lowered, reason I mentioned running it higher unless you have a very smooth surface but lowered would look better for the display case.
NICE !
+shenlonco Thanks Shen!
Very nice car, but don't you think the tires & wheels look a bit too small ? Regular 1/10 scale I know they are but... looks a bit off...
+Vlad Barrette The body needs to be lowered....might have been due to shipping on the cardboard placard it was zip ties to
i love that car , i plan on getting one however the wheels are to small for the wheel wells it needs some vintage hpi style tires and wheels
+John Cole I actually contacted Kyosho America and they did verify the car ships with the body higher than normal. Simply lowering the body will fill the wheel wells and you're set
I love fast n loud
my favorite show
+ULTiMATE TRAXXAS MAN Yep....My Fav right now!
+The RCNetwork what was your favorite build that GMG built
Hopefully they have an aluminum center shaft.. In the Vaterra touring car I owned it would vibrate real bad..
+tommy23490 It's a plastic center driveshaft, but there's something about these Kyosho cars that's so well refined.
+The RCNetwork Yeah I own a couple Kyosho's they're definitely nice.. Just with the car I owned with a plastic center shaft it would vibrate real bad at high speed. Mostly happened on 3s, but occasionally on 2s.. I hope yours doesn't.. It's a nice car..
Like you said wow that is sweet,
Great unboxing, thanks for posting. Perhaps consider a brighter lighting situation for your studio..a lot of detail on the chassis filming is lost due to poor lighting. Just a thought while watching.
+lawnshedguy Thanks LSG. Yeah, I was working through some camera issues. I have a ton of lighting in the studio....just replaced it with a Panasonic G7
Cool video, cool car! Kyosho NAILED that body!
Any comments on that motor? I'm bought an F1 chassis on a whim and packaging-wise the dDrive looks perfect, but typically sensorless motors aren't terribly smooth down low.
How's it feel?
+lesscubes It will have it's maiden voyage on Thursday......stay tuned! Also, I agree on sensoreless being "not to smooth"
Great review as allways!!! They scaled down the body and lenghten the chassie BUT...for me at least(after reading the rest of the opinions I'm not the only one)) it seems the wheels should be a bit bigger...or the body should be lowered... these muscle cars have a tide bigger wheels than the rest...do they not? Lovely car by the way, really nice Rtr!!!
+Szabi ESz Yeah, the body was probably raised for shipping as it was attached to a cardboard placard....
Make a wide body Redeye please.
I'm sure Kyosho will....they make almost everything else!
this black on black challenger looks like the one "graveyardcarz" built, that where also black and tinted windows.
+extec101 Yep, totally!
Hi Rich! I've following you for a few month all around social media and love your videos. Keep it up! Quick question. Did you find out if the plastic bolted pieces front and rear in the body are actually lightbuckets? Let me know please. Thanks!
+JR's Tints To my knowledge, they are not buckets
+The RCNetwork Thanks to clarify this Rich. I appreciate your help👍
niiiiiiiice , that's a super sweet car, lovin it. :)
+Mikey mike Thanks Mikey!
awesome man. its discobery, they are sponsered by dodge. like roadkill on motortrend/youtube
+Quak Rc Nice....couldn't think of the name and GMG sounded wrong! lol
sweet body.
+2cwik4u104 Thanks 2cwik!
Swwweeeeet !! Love it,
+andrew richey Thanks Andrew!
How Mach did it gost for you to get please tell me ?
Mustakim Ali the link in the video description shall set you free! I always include pricing via the links
will this fit on my 4tec
Likely not...they stretched the WB on the Fazer chassis to make the body look more scale
Car looks good, but the wheels look a little small for the body
Remember, this is an unboxing, and the body can easily be lowered by adjusting the body mounts, which will be shown in a future episode.
this car is indicated to drift?
Yep, it can with the included drift wheels/tires
But compared with others drif models its the same (angle driving) or do you recomend another model specific for drift?
A few people include drift and grip tires... www.hpiracing.com/en/kit/109299 for example.
+thekeytoairpower It's far and few between though. Not every Sprint 2 has them, for example
how much is it
+Rcrex studio inc. Check the video description.....Tower Hobbies has it
awesome car but the tires look a little small... maybe just me
+rc guy The body needs to be lowered
+The RCNetwork alright will be awesome can't wait to see
why don't you ever drive the cars on youtube
Strong statement....check my channel page - running video of the RC8B3e. I have about 500+ videos on YT with many, many running videos.
+The RCNetwork oh didn't realize love your vids my bad
The wheels are wayyy too small for the body.
The d drive isnt really new... But cool anyways lol
+Z.A.K. RC New to me! lol I think it's been out for maybe 5-6 months now.....
C EST UN TRES BEAU MODELE QUI COUTE 850,00 EUROS . JE N AI PAS ENCORE EU LE TEMPS DE L ESSAYER AINSI QUE LA FORD MUSTANG HOONIGAN .
Wow, it shouldn't be 850 Euros. This costs about $300 in the states - Have you checked RipMax? What about contacting HPI in Europe and see what distributors they have.
Would be btr if it wer brushless
I agree - but the Fazer line up, you're paying mostly for the bodies. The Chassis has a ton of plastic, not sure it could take much brushless abuse
Oh ok
Looks like another Toy grade offering. Tires and wheels do not match the scale of the body and it is mounted too high over the tires which ruins it's stance. Thanks for the great vids you so but this car is a dud.
+Cancun Tom As a guy working in a Kyosho shop I agree with you 100% on the tires. It's a shame since otherwise it's a really good looking, lower price point model :(
Remember, this is an unboxing......the body can easily be lowered by the body mounts....easy fix, which I'll show in two upcoming videos.
+The RCNetwork Can't wait, have to point customers that buy this car from us towards your videos then to make it look even better.
Easy to adjust...
I’ve seen one in person, a red one and it is awesome. It’s beautiful. Everyone who saw it was blown away. It’s really something. If you don’t ignore this review, you would get how amazing the RC car is. Stop whining and go see one. Then you can make an informed decision. Btw, even though they call this a 1/10 car, its really closer to 1/8 scale. It’s large and heavy and solid.
the chassis Looks cheap ! nice body
+Chris Bevins It's Kyosho's Fazer platform, which is pretty proven.
To bad it cant handle any real power. I had the 2006 Subaru Impreza & tried my lrp flow with a 9.5 x20 & the beveled diff gears would slip & make a horrible noise. Put stock crap orion back in it (25 amp r10 & neon 2400kv motor back in it & sold it. Wasn't much of a rally car & isn't much of a touring car either! One thing I can say that was good was the new shock design. Servo is horrible, wow talk about slow..
+Craig Ster It's not so much that it can't handle power.....it wasn't built for a 4s system! lol I agree, it would nice to have it handle 3s.....but with any of these 1/10th scale cars -They can't handle anything over 50ish mph as they just go airborne
The wheels are to small for the body.
+Charles Jones Remember, this is an unboxing......the body can easily be lowered by the
body mounts....easy fix, which I'll show in two upcoming videos.
+The RCNetwork yep just my opinion out of the box :)
The wheels ruin it unfortunately.
+MaxxPainII Remember, this is an unboxing......the body can easily be lowered by the
body mounts....easy fix, which I'll show in two upcoming videos.
+The RCNetwork I understand, but I think the tires being so thin is what is throwing off the look. I wonder if they a make taller tires to make it look more to scale. Seems as if they just used what they had when it came to the wheels.
Great looks in the body, terrible wheel/body proportions.
I was about to get this car until I saw this.... :/
+Denis Monteiro Remember, this is an unboxing......the body can easily be lowered by the
body mounts....easy fix, which I'll show in two upcoming videos.
Lower the body will help a bit, but the wheels still too small for the car. (just compare to a real Challenger and you will understand) Maybe an aftermarket wheel can solve this "problem".
Great video. But wheels are not only ugly af, but they aren't proportionate to the body. Pass.
Yeah, during shipping, the body posts are raised to clear the packaging and not damage the body. I later lowered it and it looked a lot better. The wheels are okay....
