Hey, at least he didn't blunder!
Very suspicious.
The truth hurts.
I don't always pre-move three moves, but when I do, it always ends in mate.
what about a forced three time repetition? I feel like that's more common, especially for gms like Anish Giri
There's good and there's not brilliant and there's not great and there's not best and there's not excellent.
and that's good
First time watching you play. I've only seen you talk us through others games. Very nice. You even premoved the victory. Hope to see more games you play.
Chess is tough
Seriously, what's going on with the Arbiter and the case of the squeaky shoes at the candidates? We better get Kramnik on the case. 😎👞👞
"Agent 99, Maxwell Smart here.... calling from the shoe phone.."
Bens face expression seems like he’s in trouble sometimes, but he’s just in trouble finding the most sexy mate lol
Never play f3!
it was a good game.
All book!
Which move was the good one, f3?
F3 hung checkmate in 3, so it probably wasn't that one. Maybe bxd7+ was okay but he had to play Nxe5+ instead of Nf5+
that was a book move... from Ben Finegold's book titled "moves never to play"
I'm so confused. Why didn't white take the knight on e2+?
it was double check
king in check by 2 pieces means its illegal to take the knight and remain in check.
There's good and there's not good, and that's not good. Even though it's good. Good.
That game made no sense. White moved into check? Those were "pre-moves"? I guess I don't know how online chess works.
Yes, those were pre-moves. If you pause the video just before Ben played the first check, you should be able to calculate checkmate in 3 moves. It's just one forced variation and it's the one featured at the end of the game. Nice calculation by Ben.
1 Gold
oof
f3 player
I thought that was a life review, not a game review 🫢
