Hello Alexi, thank you for having fun shooting at Misato Rock Mountain last month. I am the staff member who asked you to photograph the tent. I'm looking forward to seeing you again and playing Jimny.
Wait.. as a Mexican I couldn't help but hear what seemed to be a "corrido" bopping in the background at 12:13... thought I was going crazy or something for a minute there.. 😆
He could go for a daihatsu rocky or a mitsubishi pajero jr for the sake of contrarianism. Jk all of the short wheelbase japanese off roaders are cool as hell lol
one of the big reason why i love watching your videos and esp ones like this is it proves you actually took the time to integrate into living in japan and don't live in a foreigner bubble with maybe one whacky token Japanese friend like 99% of foreigners seemingly do it just feels authentic
If you mean other foreign youtubers living in Japan, consider that we don't see their personal life off camera. You can't really say they don't integrate or interact with their Japanese friends or neighbors. Maybe they have a lot of Japanese friends but said friends aren't comfortable to appear on videos. It's like how we never see people in Alexi's personal life either, only those in car communities that'd love to show their stuff on camera.
I love the vibe this video invokes! The barbecue, the yakisoba, the good vibes all around, the uncles giving varying advice. Man, some things just resonate so well despite language barriers.
the close up shot at 14:42 is extremely aesthetic! straight out of a movie, with the rain drops passing its like time slowed down for this intense moment
What a strange feeling to hear people speaking Japanese with Mexican music in the background(13min mark roughly). Peso Pluma really an international success.
Dude this is so rad! Thanks for showing us all the Japanese motorsports culture. From a fellow wheeler and rock crawler from the US. I will say you guys are awesome and doing it right. I've added wheeling in Japan to my bucket list!
I really was hoping for a new Jimny video, thank you !!! also didn't know Japanese were into Peso Pluma lol 12:25 (you can hear it in the background playing)
I just love the absolute variety of content you get over there in Japan, how whenever there's something they don't readily have available they adapt and make their own version is just so rad!
Peso pluma in the background had me dying 😂 this looks like a blast tho! Greeting from a Austin Texas! We go off roading and rock climbing here in my brothers 70s FJ cruiser
Since 2015, when the midnight jimny offroading video was uploaded i was praying that you post more vids like that, after almost 8 years it's finally here!
The Suzuki Samurai's in the US in the late 80s/early 90s were the best thing we ever got but were sadly short-lived imports. I wanted one so bad but they were always roached by the previous owners or someone had yanked the original engine and thought it cool to put a Jeep straight 6 or lump a 283 V8 for 'more power' (pretty much a wash on that end due to the increased weight). They also had the notorious roll-over warning stickers that pretty much killed public interest, but they remained very capable in stock guise.
It’s interesting to see so many Jimnys in this video, since they are very rare in the U.S. nowadays. I live in L.A., where most off-road trucks are Jeeps, broncos, tacomas, and 4 runners/ land cruisers, so it’s nice to see a different style of off-road community. Nice vid 😊
Such a fun video to watch! It would be really cool to get some hardcore off-roaders from the US over there with their rigs to play around with the Japanese off-roaders. It would would be interesting to see what they learned from or were able to take from each others styles.
when i was a kid i used to go hunting with my dad here in italy with a red (rare long-wheelbase) jimny(called "suzuki samurai" here) in places that are just like this, it goes without saying that i enjoyed the offroading on and off the spot way more than the hunting part lmao, wonderful memories.
My first car was a 95' Jeep Wrangler with a 4" lift kit, 42" Tires, and a 3" exhaust pipe. I put every penny to my name into it. I flipped it 3 times and broke my axle in half. The most fun I've ever had driving in my life.

Yo you got a sebaceous cyst on your forehead. You can get it drained/removed if you want 🤷♂️
I'm shocked you don't know how to pronounce "Bride"....
I love that the wilderness toilet is more upscale than what you'd get in a nice hotel.
I stopped at a random public toilet in the mountains near Mt Fuji and it was so dang nice. Heated seat and all. Japan just knows how to live.
Bathroom looks better than mine at home lol
And then you get to some nice Ryokan and they still have the squat over a hole type😢
@@ajapanexplorer7417 hahaha can't win em all!!!
What do they do when it rains?
Hello Alexi, thank you for having fun shooting at Misato Rock Mountain last month. I am the staff member who asked you to photograph the tent. I'm looking forward to seeing you again and playing Jimny.
0:53 the glasses push up with the wide stare is mad funny for some reason.
Dude that was a crazy stare 😂 had to rewatch that bit in slowmo several times
Hahaha me too
Alexis continuing to sacrifice himself to give us banger content.
Them playing peso pluma had to be the craziest part of this video 😭😭😭
I thought I was trippin 😭
You can tell they really love their cars.
no ones more passionate about their cars than japan
Wait.. as a Mexican I couldn't help but hear what seemed to be a "corrido" bopping in the background at 12:13... thought I was going crazy or something for a minute there.. 😆
bruh peso pluma was going hard in the background
i thought i was trippin 😭
Next video: Alexi buys a Jimny 🤣 This video was so fun to watch, great job as always man!
that'd be sick tho ngl! id love to see a jimny build series!
@@sir2hondaImagine if Alexi turns it into a Time Attack Jimny (Yes, there's a special class in Tsukuba Time Attack exclusively for Jimnies) hahaha
He could go for a daihatsu rocky or a mitsubishi pajero jr for the sake of contrarianism.

Idk why but he blends the right amount of action with story telling and the overall vibe of it.

@@cnhnx Very true. Friendly reminder for everyone to not be a parasocial andy.
car guy with 15 years in Japan turned youtuber vs fulltime youtubers that decided to do car content
@ElSuperNova23 yea but even then. I watch other Japan based car people and it doesn't feel the same. Is it because Alexi is older? No ideer.
Jimnyaro 🔥
"I thought it would be kind of chill, it's not chill" is such a mood for anything. 😂
I love the vibe this video invokes! The barbecue, the yakisoba, the good vibes all around, the uncles giving varying advice. Man, some things just resonate so well despite language barriers.
The last clip of the blue Jimny climbing actually had me hold my breath. So intense!
the close up shot at 14:42 is extremely aesthetic!
straight out of a movie, with the rain drops passing its like time slowed down for this intense moment
It's that "behind every dirt gnashing machine is a person having a blast" kinda vibe. It makes me wanna get out there myself!
Like something out a gritty documentary 👌
What a strange feeling to hear people speaking Japanese with Mexican music in the background(13min mark roughly). Peso Pluma really an international success.
Lmaoo yup. I was like "wait a minute🤔"
Dude this is so rad! Thanks for showing us all the Japanese motorsports culture. From a fellow wheeler and rock crawler from the US. I will say you guys are awesome and doing it right. I've added wheeling in Japan to my bucket list!
I love that they're listening to Peso Pluma at 12:30
“let’s clean up the glass” love that mentality
I really was hoping for a new Jimny video, thank you !!! also didn't know Japanese were into Peso Pluma lol 12:25 (you can hear it in the background playing)
The 360 camera is awesome for 4wd videos. More people in that community should use them to film that close up shot of the front wheel was beautiful
8:26 'lets goooo' spoken like a true UA-camr
This legit feels like going with my friends in Western North Carolina back in high school. Amazing.
I just love the absolute variety of content you get over there in Japan, how whenever there's something they don't readily have available they adapt and make their own version is just so rad!
ive always found it so cool how they used to have 2 stroke motors in cars!
We kinda did it for quite a long time actually. The last ones to hold on to it were eastern bloc countries.
A 2-stroke engine certainly helps when you have very steep slopes like these
Certified LJ moment
All the American 2 stroke rednecks will appreciate this forsure
Aussie in Japan rock crawling cooking yakisoba with Peso Pluma playing in the background I love it 🇲🇽🇯🇵🇺🇸🇦🇺
love all the hispanic music in the background haha
Looks like an great purpose built facility. I think the opening scene perfectly explains the fabulous toilet with bidet function.
@14:20 sounds like a modem dialling up 😆
Yo they’re really listening to Peso Pluma in the background at 12:26 😂👌
Very nice vlog. Thank you for showcasing these cars. Keep up the good work.
I just bought a 1978 Jeep cj5 and it had the summit sticker at 3:57 but faded 😮 that’s cool
i love when manabu is on the channel. dude is badass and an idol of mine with his legendary hardtops
“Get the rope! Get the rope!” 😂😂😂😂🤭
WAIT
Peso pluma in the background had me dying 😂 this looks like a blast tho! Greeting from a Austin Texas! We go off roading and rock climbing here in my brothers 70s FJ cruiser
broo i had the same reaction lmao
SUZUKI JIMNY!!!!
When matey said 'I was terrified' I burst out laughing. Balls of steel!
That 360 cam was a good idea to bring along, also that looks like such a chill place
Alexi, this off-road content is amazing! It would be nice to have more episodes like this in the future!
Do you enjoy off-road driving experiences?
Your old vid on Jimnys got me to buy a Samurai about 4 years back. What a fun waste of money it's been 😂 thanks for the vids. This was really cool
Heck yeah, Jimny content!
Does anyone else hear Peso Pluma in the background😂😂 12:34
love seeing some offroad vids alexi, very cool!
6:14 i love that laugh/giggle
"Any idea how to save this?" ... glorious
"Good job" after breaking the window and getting stuck is proof that "solid effort" is a universal term.
Since 2015, when the midnight jimny offroading video was uploaded i was praying that you post more vids like that, after almost 8 years it's finally here!
Your content never disappoints, good work alexi!
Love to see it Alexi. Another great video!

UA-cam used to feel better, but you have not changed.
Thank you Noriyaro
Peso pluma took me out lmao glad to see the boys loving Mexico
I’ve axtually loved watching the jimny videos

the tip about visualising the reas tire tracks is a bizar good tip to give a beginner! especially if they are able to do it as well as alexi
Your camera works getting really good! This was fun.
Babe wake up Alexi uploaded
Best Japanese off-roading channel I've seen yet. lol

Super happy to see Alexi use the Insta360 cam!! Captured Some epic shots you normally wouldn't get otherwise! Can't wait for mine to come in!
The constant giggles and "wooahh niice" made this video for me. You can really feel how much fun this is!
0:51 suddenly really excited to adjust the glasses 😂
This is awesome to see cultures blend like this! Off Roading in Japan is similar to how Drifting is in the US.
Super cool stuff Alexi, love the videos
I love the occasional variety, these vids feel so special when they appear
we stan noriyaro
HELL YEAH NEW UPLOAD!!!
Shout out to Aaron for creating an awesome event schedule in the US. Nice plug Alexi totally deserved.

jimny videos are my favourite videos on this channel

Hahahahaha no way PESO PLUMA playing in the background legends
That Summit sticker on the dash made me proud.
